Sweet video man, nice job on the editing. I have an '04 Scrambler 500 HO as well. I put a pro circut 4 stroke pipe on it, HPD clutch kit, upped to a 12 tooth sprocket in the front and it RIPS. My buddies with 450's are amazed at how I smoke them off the line.....

the yellow plastic was just another set of OEM plastic, for aftermarket stuff i didn't have much, just a hot seat performance full exhaust, ITP rims, ITP holeshot HD's, Fly Aero tapered bars and a polaris front bumper, that was about it

@redRiderEx they weren't too bad, i quit running ITP trail tires, i bought a set of Razr2's for my KTM and i love them, the 6 ply has incredible duribility, if u watch my ditch riding video you'll see how much i jumped from grass to dirt to pavement to gravel, they've had great wear and tear resistance, the HD's were sweet tires but i'll recommend the razr2's to anyone and all my friends that have ran them love them for a wide variety of terrain.. buy on motosport . com, they have awesome deals

I have a 2001 500 4x4. Only real 4wd sport quad. Thing is heavy over jumps and feels like a brick compared to my old 400ex, but one thing is for sure, awd pulls you through corners like nothing else. I wish someone would make a awd quad like the scrambler, but even more sport based. Make it 150 lbs light, and balance the weight a little better.

actually they work pretty good, pretty adjustable..most of the time i had them off but thats cuz i never ride at night

unless your doing real high speed night riding i wouldn't feel the need to replace the stock scrambler headlights

pretty bulletproof if u dont hit big jumps.. i'd recommend it for anyone who mainly rides trails

it's heavy so it has it's downsides but works great in the woods

Thanks, that helps a lot. I have 65 acres in the mountains, where it will get used most of the time for trails, somewhat maintained dirt roads, quick runs into town for ice, beer, soda, etc., and possibly for hunting, so it should be good for that. I was considering licensing it for the street, but with a solid rear axle it's not really suited for that.

Watching yours and other videos made me even more interested in the quad. They seem to be pretty good runners!

i honestly wouldny jump a scrambler and land just b4 a turn with trees past the corner...ive snapped 2 rear axles on my 04 on small jumps...id suggest getting a durablue or hot seat performance axle...you could also upgrade the entire rear hub, caliper and bracket, and axle as the 05 and up use a clamp on style axle rather then treaded on...allows for more flex
