Its just fetch quests till the end and level up like any other rpg. The trailer depicts the final battle at the end, which is not even fun, or inventive or even visually appealing. When it was all over I was like, wait, that was it? Wheres the big fight at?

Only recommended to die hard fans, even then consumer beware.

it made up for it with storytelling, replay value,quests, the amount of weapons and the fact you could enter into another heroes world.

So is it as good as fable 1&2 no, but by itself it stands as the closing out of a great trilogy

I have no idea why everyone says Fable doesn't need these old-fashioned guns. I think they fit the mood and atmosphere of the game very well, so that it is not just an average fantasy game with swords, bows and magic.

And the game was great as well (but probably not as good as Fable 2), I had an unforgetable time playing it!

I don't know how Obvilion could even compare, a vast game doesn't make it a good game. I at least have fun memories of Fable, where as Oblivion I remember being annoyed, bored.. and had to mute it's terrible voices and bland atmosphere and music. Ruined by silly British humor? Oh come on, Fable has ALWAYS had silly humor among it's drama. Like Rareware, British based companies have always preferred a good chuckle here and there in their games. With all the CODs' now, appreciate the humor.

I'm overall impressed with the feel and artwork put into the game, as well as the careful planning and appreciation for voices as well as gameplay. Sure, the DLC should just be free or cheap, but I don't judge a game by it's dlc content or online content, which is the mistake this COD, GoW, WoW, and Halo worshiping gamers do now. This game is by no means terrible, peoples expectations for a long complicated game are sad, go back to WoW ever changing broken lore if you can't handle simplicity.

I think people are still bitter over the promises that Peter Monlyneux had at first with his Fable trilogy, but it has come a long way. Fable III is underrated by the snobby gamer community that doesn't want change, but isn't fully happy to begin with. As a gamer since I was a kid on all platforms, Fable III really gave you a sense of morality, instead of stalked celebrity. The story didn't over complicate itself, and the reoccurring characters fit in seamlessly.

@theraynor1995 Actually there is a military outfit in the game, you get it from one of the demon doors or what they are called, but Im not sure which one it is... All I know is that its not the one by the sunset house, its not the one where you have to be fully ugly to open, and its not the one where you need to have a child, I dont know which one it is of those thats left, try your way through or search it on youtube, or you could ask somebody else.

Bloody jokes, the only thing I amazed of is the part goin' through the cave and the desert in Aurora. And yes, they are demon doors, but hell, it's just a door with a stone head, but they are quite fun though :))

@theraynor1995 well.. the game is pretty good, but its to short and easy, when you got all the chests on the road to rule theres not much do to except to search for those books and flowers and shit, the story is good, as you said, but its to short, after like, 3 weeks or so, it starts to gather dust in that "games not to play" corner, but.. I guess it was worth the money, except that I pre-ordered it and I didnt get any bonus stuff, that part sucked =(

Fable 1: Great game, many choices which effect the game later.

Fable 2: Less choices, less weapons, worse story, but still okay.

Fable 3: Not many choices that affect the game until the end, very small choice of weapons and spells.

@XxDahamonnahxX first off,fable 3 had a challenging mode,the story wasn't stupid,it just needed length and a few more alternatives.Magic in this game WAS simplfied,but soo was every other form of combat,it was a 3 channel and two button system,it was very easy to get the hang of,though I DO think magic should have been implimented more,I would have liked to see gates that require certain spells to open,that would add a puzzle element.I WILL say that it wasn't a great SEQUEL,but a bad game?hellno

@XxDahamonnahxX The Xbox version sucked A LOT more than the PC version,on the PC version,enemies were generally more challenging,a lot of the DLC was free,and caertain detail settings could be turned off.But BOTH versions of Fable 3 had it's flaws,and I think one of the BIGGEST flaws with fable 3 is consistency between PC and Xbox.The PC version also had WAY bigger environments and WAY better detail.Hopefully lionhead will keep an eye out for our feedback and improve with Fable 4...
