I do think you should lengthen your tutorials a bit cause most of what you're doing is showing us that this effect exists, not how to use it.

I think the main thing he was pointing out was starting off with low volumes on the mixer (which i skimmed through till he was done), he used the multi-band comp,.

Thats all i got out of it which I did implament and was reasuring that starting LOW

and mixing that is better that starting BIG.

Fruity loops is very underestimated. Its a very well built program that can produce some great beats and sounds if you know what your doing.

use a limiter on the drums or on the synth, or change it in the mixer. also if you use some kind of distortion or amplifier make sure the sound doesnt get too loud or else the drums will be blent out...
