I am one who does believe some bipedal ape-like humanoid exist. I was able to enhance this and it is CLEARLY an owl. You can see it sitting on a branch. Hence, the big eyes. Also, because they can turn their heads all the way around, it appears to go behind the tree and reappear. This is the illusion of it moving in and out. Sorry but for a moment I too was excited but this can be easily dismissed and I'm actually shocked the BFRO didn't do a better job of authenticating this video.
@4dales I am also a fervent believer in the Man of the Forest, and I have heard from other researchers that the BFRO has a history of not doing a thorough job of researching/debunking potential evidence presented to them. Yep, definitely showing typical owl behavior, also I would imagine a Sasquatch would fade behind a tree trunk, or duck down and exit the area.
I dont think the video is fake either. I believe there are just far too many other things it could have been, and without some factual data: ( distance- camera type-lens-location - time-date-weather conditions- temp- field investigative reports- physical evidence such as foot prints-hair-etc etc....its hard to believe this is bigfoot eye shine.
It would be hard to say what it is for certian, so its just as likley an Owl or a deer up a tree as it is a bigfoot.
Its possible (not likley) an American Ape evolved night vision. In view of facts that no other hominid, ape, monkey, orangutan or human did while doing the same activity then probably not. BF is not in some secluded niche cut off from the rest of the world. Tapetum lucidum ( the reflective chem/structures in reflective eyes) is not found in humans and since BF may have basic primate like DNA it is just not likely he has night vision.

Planing a trip in the fall to Texas to investigate a BF investigation site (s) and see what these locations have to offer up. Two things of interest : What they didn't find and what they left behind.
Yeah....I can see where you might see a bear or even a coon or something that climbs up in trees.
But "bear" with me...a bear would have a long snout which would block the farthest eye as the head turns, and would be late coming back into view as the "animal" looks back at you. Also I see the eyes closer together ( as possibly an owl would have) rather than a few extra inches you might expect for other animals. This is just just my opinion and I do see lots of this birds at sites we cover.
I often do field research for BF groups, often in late evening into early morning especially when investigating multiple sightings.That understood, no one needs vast outdoor experience to know this is an owl. I could have told you it was owl if you had showed it to me when I was 12 years old. The evidence points to somthing being out there in the woods. I know exactly where this was filmed at in KY. There is a road that goes around that hill and it is possible that they are car headlights. You can even hear the car engines going by.

I have seen this exact same eye shine many times. Once while solo canoeing the Kiamichi River I saw eye shine exactly like this. When I walked closer to investigate the "sasquatch" flew away because it was an owl.
I was thinking the same thing. But you can also see eyes like this when you're looking for you cat under the bed. So it could still have been mammal. Either way, it's a creepy but impossible to identify sighting.
@donkeybrainsify, that brings me to my problem with lots of alleged Sasquatch videos. There is often WAY too much extrapolation and assumption. Some of them I believe to be authentic, but some (like this) should have never even been uploaded.

I have to agree with you. Racoons have become used to humans even in developed areas. Leash laws are prohibiting dogs from running free and giving chase. So now we have a bigger problem.
TCSJrBigfoot's video are crammed full of racoons. When you see eyeshine and hear noises in his videos, you'll usually find racoons. In fact I'm not sure that this isn't one of his.

Getting better video and/or photo images is one thing. "Capturing" one is a different story altogether. If statistical eyewitness anecdotes are to be trusted, you are talking about trying to capture a creature that is much larger, much stronger, and probably smarter than a silverback gorilla. They have also been reported in behaviorally cooperative groups.

I agree with you however. If someone is so sure that a BF is standing right there, just a few yards away, and the point of the video camera is to record evidence, and the world is waiting for clear images, why not get the best evidence possible?

Nevermind all the skeptics.This looks pretty authentic to me. Not nearly as easy to hoax as one might think. I had a very recent encounter with one of these creatures myself, hence the reason I am on here at 4:30 in the morning looking at bigfoot videos.
That was probably a raccoon. We see them all the time down by the creek not far from out house at night. They glow orange just like that, and they can move along branches and appear that they are 6 to 8 feet above the ground.

@ninailsgimp good point. also the vid being longer would've helped. it's been edited to only show 1:26, what were you doing out there? show us you're approach to the area. show us your departure. who else was there. all you show us are 2 shiny things, and claim that its no owl or a hoax. it's probably not in any forest. there's mulitiple locations around my community which could have been the staging area for this.
With only eyeshine back in the brush you can never really be sure what it is. Might this have been a mountain lion? From the the reaction of the observers they sound like that is what they were suspecting at the moment. IMHO it appears they were being watched/stalked by a mountain lion. If that is what it was they certainly made the right decision in leaving.. The variation in brightness of reflection looks to me to be a result of the animal panning around with its eyes more than blinking.
This Just Might Be Real The Distance It Is Away From The Camera and With The Distance The eyes are apart ,, It must be big if the eyes are that far apart at that distance
The eyes are reflecting because it is a NOCTURNAL creature--not an ordinary gorilla or human being. Those eyse are way too big to be an owls considering how far away this footage is being filmed. All that was needed were several more steps towards whatever is in this video. If I had the eyes of a sasquatch in the beam of a flashlight and I was filming you can bet I'd take the risk of getting closer for some good evidence.
If you look closely at 0:10, at the bottom center you can make out several raccoons (black masks). They are moving about and seem unbothered by humans. Some distance behind them appears to be a young bear. There appears to be a possum between the eyes and the tree just to the right. Look at TCSJrBigfoot's eyeshine video of a possum for comparison.
This creature is extremely cautious, whatever it may be. Its too tall to be a big cat, and if it were a bear standing on its hind legs, it would've growled and charged at the camera operator and his companion/s. I have seen something like this when I was at a bornfire with some friends in Ohio. I got chills from watching this. I don't know what that is but it looks like what I saw.

A buddy of mine would do owl calls and these big Great horned Owls would fly in. look just like this with eyes. this footage should be taken at face value, the folks with the camera didnt do anything but wuss out. u dont know the height or real distance of the eyes. Haplarhine primates such as humans and great apes don't have this feature, if this is genuine footage it would pretty much rule out the Sasquatch being related to humans in any way shape or form.
@Jskillz27Fla the most notable primates that have the Tapetum Lucidum are Lemurs of Madagascar which hunt their food at night, Haplarhine primates like Humans, Gorillas, Chimps, don't have a Tapetum Lucidum in their retinas which allow for light reflection in the eyes at night, exceptions for this are if a human had a tumor or cancerous growth in their eyes which could then reflect light. Google 'Tapetum Lucidum' for a full explanation.
As it was MY camera that shot this film, and I was standing there the whole time, I can state firmly that this was neither an owl nor a hoax. The terrain was treacherous. For those of you that have all the answers, and believe this type of footage so easy to obtain, then by all means post it. I would like to see it.

I have seen this exact same eye shine many times. Once while solo canoeing the Kiamichi River I saw eye shine exactly like this. When I walked closer to investigate the "sasquatch" flew away because it was an owl.

I have to agree with you. Racoons have become used to humans even in developed areas. Leash laws are prohibiting dogs from running free and giving chase. So now we have a bigger problem.
TCSJrBigfoot's video are crammed full of racoons. When you see eyeshine and hear noises in his videos, you'll usually find racoons. In fact I'm not sure that this isn't one of his.

Well common sense will tell you what ever it is, its no deer. Its no human either, we have no eyeshine. So what ever it is, its about seven feet tall, and not human..But if it was a bigfoot, they were most likely being flanked, so if they were to be attacked, it wouldnt have been by the one they were staring at.

If statistical eyewitness anecdotes are to be trusted, you are talking about trying to capture a creature that is much larger, much stronger, and probably smarter than a silverback gorilla. They have also been reported in behaviorally cooperative groups.

I agree with you however. If someone is so sure that a BF is standing right there, just a few yards away, and the point of the video camera is to record evidence, and the world is waiting for clear images, why not get the best evidence possible?

That was probably a raccoon. We see them all the time down by the creek not far from out house at night. They glow orange just like that, and they can move along branches and appear that they are 6 to 8 feet above the ground.

With only eyeshine back in the brush you can never really be sure what it is. Might this have been a mountain lion? From the the reaction of the observers they sound like that is what they were suspecting at the moment. IMHO it appears they were being watched/stalked by a mountain lion. If that is what it was they certainly made the right decision in leaving.. The variation in brightness of reflection looks to me to be a result of the animal panning around with its eyes more than blinking.

The eyes are reflecting because it is a NOCTURNAL creature--not an ordinary gorilla or human being. Those eyse are way too big to be an owls considering how far away this footage is being filmed. If you look closely at 0:10, at the bottom center you can make out several raccoons (black masks). They are moving about and seem unbothered by humans. Some distance behind them appears to be a young bear. There appears to be a possum between the eyes and the tree just to the right. Look at TCSJrBigfoot's eyeshine video of a possum for comparison.

This creature is extremely cautious, whatever it may be. Its too tall to be a big cat, and if it were a bear standing on its hind legs, it would've growled and charged at the camera operator and his companion/s. I have seen something like this when I was at a bornfire with some friends in Ohio. I got chills from watching this. I don't know what that is but it looks like what I saw.

Ive watched this Video at least 30 times now. That is so an owl with the head rotation. Unless bigfoot has a head the size of a grapefruit. I recall spending many nights on Lake Hickory, NC. A buddy of mine would do owl calls and these big Great horned Owls would fly in. look just like this with eyes. this footage should be taken at face value, the folks with the camera didnt do anything but wuss out. u dont know the height or real distance of the eyes. @Shadowhawk30 You people make up facts about unproven/undiscovered species. Is it me or do you sound utterly insane? Seems as though anything you see in the bush you make a instant assumption that it's a bigfoot. I'm sorry it's actually histarical. If you see a light in the sky do you instantlly believe it to be a UFO?

@Jskillz27Fla Yes but the question is if Bigfoot has a Tapetum Lucidum which would allow for light refraction in the retina at night which is a feature of certain nocturnal animals which are active at night. Strepsirrine primates have this feature,
Haplarhine primates such as humans and great apes don't have this feature, if this is genuine footage it would pretty much rule out the Sasquatch being related to humans in any way shape or form.

@Jskillz27Fla the most notable primates that have the Tapetum Lucidum are Lemurs of Madagascar which hunt their food at night, Haplarhine primates like Humans, Gorillas, Chimps, don't have a Tapetum Lucidum in their retinas which allow for light reflection in the eyes at night, exceptions for this are if a human had a tumor or cancerous growth in their eyes which could then reflect light. Google 'Tapetum Lucidum' for a full explanation.

As it was MY camera that shot this film, and I was standing there the whole time, I can state firmly that this was neither an owl nor a hoax. The terrain was treacherous. For those of you that have all the answers, and believe this type of footage so easy to obtain, then by all means post it. I would like to see it.
