Can't bare OOTD either and I am always in pj's as I am disabled and housebound with 2 autistic kids that are home schooled. I loved the look of relief on your face when you said your kids are back at school lol. I do however have a huge make up collection as it makes me happy and it is the only thing I can now enjoy, I do still save for us and the kids and don't do designer clothes/bags. I am so sorry you were stressed with the kids over the summer. Kids do feed off of each other and watch out for full moons. Speaking of old makeup...I discovered my love of make up (mainly eyeshadow) late last year at the age of 34. Yes 34!! I'm determined to hit pan on all of them before I turn 40 :). How old is your oldest eyeshadow?
I totally agree with you about some people showing their makeup collection and having a rooms or rooms filled with makeup. My thoughts are gross and how old is some of the makeup and you know some of that makeup is old as hell, lol. I was telling the same thing to my husband.THese girls spend evey penny they got on things...they dont have kids and responsibilities..i'd rather put an extra amount of money in my child's education saving account rather than doing a manicure three times a month...so i think its just us being mothers..wait till they get two two kids of their own.

I tooo am a mama of 4 , not 5 , just had my fourth and had the crazy summer of 3 rambuncious lil one's and a newborn and had the task of becoming a 24/7 entertainer. When I hit a certain age I finally realized that I did not need to let people walk all over me nor take advantage of me. I developed a backbone and once I realized I could do it, I stuck with it. I do not falsify myself..I have flaws and am imperfect, as everyone is. being able to admit it is another :)

I agree, OOTD and Hauls can be irritating, they teeter on the line between informative and out-right bragging. I find a lot of the time, that it's the younger gurus [not naming names] that come off braggy and vain...where as the slightly older ones [in their 30's] tend to be more laid back, down to earth and realistic about what they buy and show. They don't just buy expensive make-up naively thinking that "The more expensive something is the higher the quality." and get sucked into the hype.

omg girl im just like u, i love to wear my maternity clothes. I have 3 kids and i dont wear makeup during the summer. Running after them melts it anyways hehehe. Dont have time getting my hair done or nails. At the end of the day all i want is a bubblebath. Thats how my life is as well, never have me time. But i sure love my kids. Thanks for this awesome vid!

I am so sorry you were stressed with the kids over the summer. Kids do feed off of each other and watch out for full moons. LOL After teaching for 25 years, kids will go wonky when there is a full moon! Thank goodness you have a couple hours of peace. Take care of yourself. You deserve to pamper yourself. Take care.

I totally agree with you about some people showing their makeup collection and having a rooms or rooms filled with makeup. My thoughts are gross and how old is some of the makeup and you know some of that makeup is old as hell, lol. It is so nice to see you back and I can totally relate to being glad the kids are back at school. I only have on child and I am soooo glad school has started. I was telling the same thing to my husband.THese girls spend evey penny they got on things...they dont have kids and responsibilities..i'd rather put an extra amount of money in my child's education saving account rather than doing a manicure three times a month...so i think its just us being mothers..wait till they get two two kids of their own.

I hate when I see video of a crap load of makeup and they're showing shelf anfter shelf showing their collections of MAC and being like "oh I don't even use those, I don't use these" like it was a 50c piece of makeup! I'm not gonna spend 19euro on a lipstick and use it once or not at all just so I can have it as a piece of a collection, makeup in to be used and enjoyed, not to sit in a box just to say I have it.

I completely agree with you . You are amazing. I tooo am a mama of 4 , not 5 , just had my fourth and had the crazy summer of 3 rambuncious lil one's and a newborn and had the task of becoming a 24/7 entertainer. I love makeup and beautiful things too, but I also have priorities. The types of videos that you're talking about irritate me too. Love the way you think and I feel the exact same way! I wear flip flops all year! I agree about the ones that do the videos where everything bought is hundreds and thousands of dollars. When I hit a certain age I finally realized that I did not need to let people walk all over me nor take advantage of me. I developed a backbone and once I realized I could do it, I stuck with it. I do not falsify myself..I have flaws and am imperfect, as everyone is. being able to admit it is another :)

I agree, OOTD and Hauls can be irritating, they teeter on the line between informative and out-right bragging. I find a lot of the time, that it's the younger gurus [not naming names] that come off braggy and vain...where as the slightly older ones [in their 30's] tend to be more laid back, down to earth and realistic about what they buy and show. They don't just buy expensive make-up naively thinking that "The more expensive something is the higher the quality." and get sucked into the hype.
