Where is this church at? There is a church in my neighborhood where the members do not wear shoes and wear white garments. It looks rather "ritualistic" and not totally of God and Jesus Christ! You are correct in that the Spirit does behave unseemingly. Dance is a part of worship to any form, all cultures holy and unholy dance to worship, but an unclean spirit won't necessarily hit the whole body, but it will act out different from everyone else to show itself, it wants to be known as something different. I have been in pentacostal/"american" churches and have seen this happen. Just be prayerful and make sure the Holy Ghost resides in you to protect you and give you His discernment.

There is a clip on youtube that's supposed to be a worship service but, you could tell it wasnt a holy spirit. THe people were in a state of unconciousness and moving radically and you could see the physical effects of drained energy. It made my skin crawl to the point where I couldn't watch the rest, I didn't want to be infected.

God does things decently and in order. While I can't judge the whole service I will say that the Holy Spirit will not cause someone to pull their weave draw attention to oneself. Where was order in this service? Where was the word of God? I go to a Pentecostal Church and even during praise and worship there is STILL order in the Church. I'm not judging, I am expressing God's word.

This video is not indicative of the gift of tongues (a way to manifest messages from God, another person is supposed to translate.) I see dancing, screaming, club music etc., NO prophecy. Also, Jesus wasn't into public displays of trying to prove your faith by showing off. He told us "But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly."

By the way I sent you a couple of videos, of the same thing going on here, there are hundreds maybe thousands of them to watch. These make me think of the voodoo dances/ceremonies you see on tv, where they are possessed by spirits of their ancestors. mmm, don't think so but thanks for the "warning" -- people's eyes rolling back, falling all over the pews and each other, pulling their hair out, screaming at the top of their lungs, isn't of the Holy Spirit, it is a crowd mentality thing, imo evidence of some type of possession, not of God. I may be wrong, but I don't recall any of the apostles or Jesus telling people to do this.

Yeah I know there are some backwoods white churches that do this too, but with black people it seems more like a crowd mentality thing, one of em gets to cutting a rug and it just spreads. It looks an awful lot like voodoo worship. Can't see any difference myself.

Where is this church at? There is a church in my neighborhood where the members do not wear shoes and wear white garments. It looks rather "ritualistic" and not totally of God and Jesus Christ! So I'm wondering if this is actually that church! As for this, yeah, I've never seen the Holy Ghost knock a person to their knees like they're about to vomit out a demon. . .but who am I to say it wasn't. I just don't think this video is a Holy Bible driven church.

no matter, we all worship different. to me they sound african so their worship is based on how praise is bought forth in service. i have been to white pentecostle church and you guys shouting is wayyyyy different from black pentecostle churches but and i have seen chiness and mexicans shout lol its all different but i just Thank God it is done to glory God. if you said it was voodo i in turn will call you ignorant to the work of black magic and sorcery... spirits will act out in a way that is not conceivable to man... if this was voodo i dont think that you would be able to stomach watching this video all the way through because the whole church would fall subject to that spirit just as when the holy spirit hits our churches the church falls subject not just one person...

You are correct in that the Spirit does behave unseemingly. Dance is a part of worship to any form, all cultures holy and unholy dance to worship, but an unclean spirit won't necessarily hit the whole body, but it will act out different from everyone else to show itself, it wants to be known as something different. I have been in pentacostal/"american" churches and have seen this happen. Just be prayerful and make sure the Holy Ghost resides in you to protect you and give you His discernment.

true... i dance both in church and i shout and i have been to churches where there dance is different but when it is the holy spirit it will automatically agree with you if you have him on the inside... spirit knows spirit right... so therefore if this was a practice of voodoo then there would have been another manisfestation some how as well... most times it affects the natural course of your body... she might have fell down shaking as if possessed... not voodoo, not the spirit of God either

There is a clip on youtube that's supposed to be a worship service but, you could tell it wasnt a holy spirit. THe people were in a state of unconciousness and moving radically and you could see the physical effects of drained energy. It made my skin crawl to the point where I couldn't watch the rest, I didn't want to be infected.
