Yes they CAN eat meat but they can't digest it very well, they are hardcore herbivores and shouldn't really eat meat as their digestive system isn't designed for digesting it. It's awesome what they did for their horse though, so cool!

They can sleep for hour or so laying in the sun with no problems. A twisted gut comes from colic and they thrash n roll around not from laying down

How in the world is this horse depressed? He looks happy enough to me. I think even without the halter and lead this horse would still be following his human buddies around. Don't people realise that even though this seems really cool and the horse doesn't look unhappy that this is not the best lifestyle for a horse. You can say what you like to me but i believe animals should be kept as closely as possible to how they are meant to live in the wild. Domesticated animals that are socialized with humans enjoy human interaction. You can't make a reasonable generalization about what that horse's life is like from a 3 1/2 minute video.
