  • Oouch, I wish I had done something wrong! I didn't know how to erase posted movies etc,

so I did post this video twice. And Francine shared the wrong one, NOT the one I had posted, BUT the one someone named angusyoung had done.

This it is so, I was and am the original poster Francine shared with you, she just took the wrong one because of my screw up LOL I have a splendid copy of him doing it at his 1984 solo accoustic show at Lake Biwako, where he also sings Japanese!

    Peace, mountainsong

  • A remarkable man for whose performances, I shall always be grateful.

  • Beautiful, beautiful and beautiful. You don't need to be christian, to apreciate this truly gifted. Thanks John and thanks Angus. Absolutly stunning.

  • Thank you for posting this.

  • Respond to this video... is there aother part to this song i could not find part2

  • Dam. Thank God for You Tube.

  • John Denver truly did have a gift from God - it is called a "pitch perfect" voice!! There are fewer than 100 people on the earth with "pitch perfect" voices!! Elvis, Sinatra, Crosby and Denver are a few. They could not hit a sour note if they tried - and none needed music lessons or voice lessons - to become the greatest singer of thier time!!!! Somehow - they just knew how to do such a difficult craft - with little or no training!!!!

  • I've watched this a few times before and have tried to mimic what he learned. As I watched it today for the first time in a long while, tears welled up in my eyes for a half an hour because of how it makes me feel in heart and spirit. I'm sure the Holy Spirit loved it and loves it. What a great person John was and I'm sure God loves having him with Him.

  • POR FAVOR:ALGUIEN PUEDE TRADUCIRLA EN ESPAÑOL Y SUGTITULAR ESTE VIDEO. VALE LA PENA

  • a truely gifted and wonderful person who found his way into the hearts of many never forgotton R I P

  • I still miss him.

  • Denver can still teach us so much- enjoying peace, music, nature, friends, and fun. Nature and music, religion

  • I sure like his personality... To caveat, A man, taken for all and all, -a goodly king

  • What he's saying is the same for Australian aborigines... except that they communicate with songs... or something like that, I seem to remember

  • This was recorded at the Apollo Theater - London, England in October 1982.

  • Check out movie O GOD with John Denver and George Burns.

  • Very touching. He was such an inspiration to all of us who appreciated his art and looked up to him. Such a pity to lose him when he was so young.

  • The Native Americans could teach us a thing or two. They don't have words for kingdom or will. Says a lot about them.

  • @forestchild23 We agree in spirit, I'm sure, but I would say that [we] collectively have simply forgotten something important, and they could "remind" us of some things.

It is a beautiful Earth, isn't it? :-)

  • I own some property in the area he speaks of. In Bayfield, CO. What a beautifil place. It seems so much more special now...Thank You Lord.

  • I remember the day he died. i felt like a brother died. i CAN STILL NOT BELIVE IT. I hope when I get to heaven...we'll be friends. What a truly wonderful person.

  • John Denver had a special gift from Our Lord I know He is with Father God in Heaven the creator and His son Jesus in Heaven. He had a crisp clear voice and we all miss Him dearly! He touched all who heard his voice! Thank you for this video! Wonderful!

  • angusyoung111- Dude, I'm curious as to why THAT is your username. Are you a fan of AC/DC and a fan of John Denver? Not criticizing, just curious...

  • I believe that it is the Apollo concert hall in Australia. I could be wrong

  • This was filmed in London Apollo Victoria Theater in 1982. See John Denver's "Last Night I Had the Strangest Dream" video. Same background - same clothes - same guitar placement. Must be the same place and time.
