Deer farms always make me laugh when I see them, since around here the bloody deer are EVERYWHERE, its funny to think of someone actually farming them.

If you wanted a farm here I ugess youd just have to throw a salt lick or something in a field with a way in but no way out, and just wait a few nights.

I seen a wild white tail in a field and we stopped to watch it.

It was looking at us and walking towards us making these calls. I thought it was cool i never heard one make noises before.

When they make the calls in the wild are they warning others?

This deer did not seems spooked by us, it just jumped around for a few minutes like it was playing and skipped off into brush.

In the woods they make all sorts of grunts and wheezes, too. Once you hear the really loud "whoooosh" they do (especially in the dark when they are startled) you'll never forget it. They blow air out really loudly, to warn any deer around, especially if it is a doe with young ones. So, if you hear something sometime in the dark woods that sounds like a sasquatch with emphysema, it is just a deer.
