This is the best AC game since AC 3. This one is going back to the roots...AC 4,5 & 6 tried to be too realistic. This is is great game, just a bit too short and the story is not very good but the action...like a summer blockbuster movie.

Worst Ace Combat game ever, nothing like the originals you don't even fly your plane like the originals. You can't roll your plane it just feels wrong. The optional vehicles are lame and no different than the Jet itself. The story line is weak with horrible Vodka jokes in almost every cinematic. Firing fixed positions over the towns with different planes bombing them gets old quickly. I either feel all old and cynical about this.. OMG im turning into a conservative with video games!

@DraconicMerc5975 missions would be brutally short if you can only carry a few thousand bullets and 6-10 missiles. Unless you feel like flying out of a combat zone every 10 shots or so, land your plane, reload, and take off again, rinse and repeat 10 times per mission....

First I thought "Meh, this isn't a FPS like I always play." but when I kept watching.. this is fucking intense. The makers of this game have a REALLY good feeling about gameplay and of the show. The music in the background changed PERFECTLY nice whatever was going on that moment. The cutscene at the end... well, one of the best I've seen in games. I'm not kidding.

I enjoyed every single second since I gave this a chance. I'm getting it. Props to the makers. You earned my respect.

@HoneyReno The last one I played was the Belkan War one (on Ps2) and back then it was overall easier to move the aircraft and doing loops and stuff was easy. I tried the demo for this one and it seems too.. rigid, I guess.. How can you do manual dogfights in this game? Isn't moving the plane gonna be really hard, if not impossible?

@Eripor I really didn't find too much difficulty, there was some yes, but not to the point where it was impossible. And using the 'other' set of controls gives more maneuverability than the simplistic one. The thing about the DFM that I don't really like is that it creates an auto follow and takes away the challenge of manually chasing and keeping on their tail.

@BootyBot The devs have said a bunch of times that only in optimum controls will you get auto-stabilising. With classic controls it is supposed to play like any other ace combat game, except no Close Range Assault. Doesn't look like you're missing much by going classic.
