  • Mouse on the Keys would be proud of you my good sir.

  • really great cover man, truly impressive. I hope to one day be able to cover this song, it's so catchy. With most songs I listen to, after a chunk of listens I'm able to mock the drum part to some degree, but this one just escapes me hahaha. it grooves so hard. KUDOS!!

  • How the flying fuck did you ever figure out that fill at 1:09 ?!?!

  • awesome

  • Your covering all the great music I know that hardly anyone knows!:DDDD

  • My goodness, you have a God-given talent. Each hit is precise and the execution is so clean. I love how you covered Mouse on the Keys, as well as Toe (I'm a big fan of both. They have one of the best drummer in my opinion). Keep it up!

  • FUCK, I wasn’t actually aware other people could play this. You've got some really noticeable feel in your playing buddy, proper talent.

  • Which ride cymbal is that? the zildjian or meinl?

  • i just shat myself from the moment you made contact with the drums..

  • @gedbangsdrums douche

  • @Zorsy you're fat

  • i know this is kinda out there and i am a percussionist who is trying to get better at set, but would it be possible for me to get the music for this somehow?

  • @buggalandry I am working on it, but it is very difficult. If i get it finished I could send it to you

  • Saigo No Bansan!

  • you cover songs of 3 of my favourite artists. And you do it so well! 5*, keep on drumming :)

  • 5/5 on your cover :P

I'm guessing you also found the other bands you've covered from the mouse on the keys last.fm radio station? :D

  • pretty sure i've watched this almost 5 times tonight! i will remember this night as the night i stumbled upon your DGD cover and then proceeded to watch your other covers out of curiosity and now you have a fan!

  • great cover man. are you listening to the song while your playing it or just a metronome? what tempo and timing is it if you know?

  • Incredibly accurate!! really fun to see you playing :D

  • fuckin cool!!!!!! best cover ever

  • Amazing!

  • fucking great man!!!

    cheers from Brasil!!!

  • Awesome. Awesome to the max.

  • we should work together someday ! im a drummer too.

  • this is quite brilliant. thank you!

  • C'mon guys it's not about gear. Great playing. I couldn't work out Akira's style at all it seemed so frenetic. Great vid. Davo

  • @Dav0London Thank you! I'm getting so tired of answering all these gear questions... especially since my entire equipment setup is listed on my channel. >:[ Anyways! Thank you so much man. He is a really hyper drummer but in an awesome way! I love watching/listening to him play. So exciting.

  • hat?? what kind hi hat did you use? love it man!

  • awesome! what time signature used in the song??

  • @wlswlswlswls This song is in 5/4, although the first groove (and whenever it's repeated) is in groups of three measures, which makes it kind of odd.

  • Ah! What a lovely video. Capital performance! I tip my hat (thought I'm not wearing one) to you and your kit; moreover, I must ask you what kind of ride you are using. It emits such a delightful sound.

Forgive me for my curiosities, but I've also been itching to know how some YouTube drummers/performers, such as yourself, are able to create a recording so clean and crisp. Please explain what it is you are doing if you can.

  • @TGS300 Hahah, thank you so much! I really appreciate it. I used a Zildjian 22" K Light Ride in this video. For this cover, I used a ZOOM portable recorder to record the drums. I know a lot of YouTube drummers just have mics and an interface to record straight to the computer, I just don't have that kinda money. :P

  • MOTK FTW. Love this song!

  • do you guys know what evan`s real chanel?

  • @Ryoichiwatanabe Not really sure what you mean... this is my real channel? :P

  • Thanks for uploading this, I'm new Mouse On The Keys fan from now :) +30 plays on last.fm in few hours... and they're incredible...

  • you're a great technical player

  • Whats your right crash? Sabian AA ..medium thin or rock?

  • @MrMeinlDrums Medium thin.

  • that was sick

  • Oh yes.

  • what woodhoop do you have?

  • @palaber123 They're made by Gibraltar. If you Google "Gibraltar wood hoops", they'll come right up.

  • <333333

  • what is that ride your using?

  • @cottondrumit That would be a 22" Zildjian K Light Ride.

  • @ysmnthelight right on. its got a good sound. thanks man.

  • Yeah, I know what you mean. ^Description

Have you ever listened to T-Square? 70's Japanese Jazz.
