  • I was diagnosed in 1990, my wife was 9-1/2 months pregnant with our 3rd child. I was interferon for 2 years, decided to go for BMT, thanks to my sister for saving my life.....March 11, 2011

  • I was diagnosed with CML on 19/12/2008 and only got a sub-optimal response from Gleevec. After taking gleevec for 6 months I was swithched to Dasatinib (Sprycel) and 6 months on I have acheived a Cytogenetic remission. This drug is great and it has definately helped me. My last PCR was 0.01 and I'll get the full results of my last Bone Marrow aspiration on 3rd March but they already e-mailed telling me I'm in cytogenetic remission. Keep fighting everyone, Kev
