somestimes i die for no reason at all like just rumping down a few small rocks.
I tell my friends that dice should come up with ways to explain it like: "bad luck, you were struck by lighting" "bad luck, a very rare poisonous snake bit you" and "bad luck, the earth openned up and swallowed you"
imo the countdown of being out of bounds shouldnt start until you've landed on the ground. whenever your jet or helicopter gets shot down a lot of the time your already out of bounds and when you bail hoping to live you just end up getting shot while parachuting.
dont knw if this is happening with anyone else but i keep dying 2 or 3 times a match from a single bullet and it then it says bad luck a can be in a helicopter or tank and a hear a single bullet and then am dead tank and helicopter will still be fine but a dont know what the hell is going on its only started happening recently does anybody know anything about this ?

I 100% agree , Dice is just so Stupid about "BAD LUCK" , They should know that when you Are heading back into the Battlefield that it should not KILL YOU with an Imaginary Bullet -_- , And kick the AFK bitchs that make me spawn then miles away from the battle
the worst bad luck i had was when i was on attack team and they spawned me all the way at the last set of Mcom when my teams were still on the 1st set of Mcoms.
When I was playing rush. I respawn at the deployment just the same second that a new Mcom wave was unlocked. I got out of bounds and a warning count begun. Obviusly I died !!!

@resengan123 yeah thats DEFINITELY an issue of the game just defaulting to a "final" kill reason. from what youre describing though, its not a kill trace issue, its just a lack of programming.

@Snakebiteloo almost everybody posting about this game on the forum i frequent says that their game crashes unexpectedly often enough to be a game issue and not a computer issue. the xbox players say that too. then theres server connectivity issues too.
in this case, its just an issue of rushing the game and ignoring certain death causes

i was obsessed with this game the first couple of days but now i am seeing its true colors. this game is far from being a COD killer. believe me i want a COD killer. bf3 is infested with snipers that its getting to the point its a PLAGUE. they are extremely overpowered and quite frankly RUIN the game. also, what the hell is up with the bullet damage? the pp900 is garbage and the m16 takes an entire clip to kill an enemy. the pistols might as well be nerf guns and the russian weapons suck
(1) the map is so big that you should flank him not just run forward for him to snip you again .. flank him take his dog tag :)
(2) most guns has different fire burst .. to change longer range aim pres down on your D-pad(ps3) to change from rapid fire to singel shots and take your sniper down :)
(3) if you see a sniper (spot him) to other teammates to take care off to "spot" press select (ps3) .. hope this help you with your small problem
@mortendfds ok well that is good advice for snipers, however the pistols are garbage and the guns take way too many bullets to kill someone, the beta was perfect and they changed it to fuck it up
@scarsofbravery try to use INRV scope (night version) you will see every enermy easy snipers too .. just found out and this scope takes snipers out with a normal gun just remember to change bullets .. if you use IRNV you will spot enermy easy with flashlight because you are not getting blind importent tool so IRNV is a must on every map if you ask me try it play around with it .. and comment back if you got the time my friend :)
@mortendfds is that the scope that is used in the campaign mission night something? bc that scope and sniper is deadly. also have you been playing on 1 bar a lot? bc the internet at my school is garbage and maybe thats a big reason why my bullets feel like pellets.
@scarsofbravery imo, wait for MW3 to release, then u will surely see a lot less campers/snipers, etc in BF3.its just inevitable. also, i am sure DICE will patch and balance all the guns soon because they have a pretty good trackrecord for stuff like this. i think the BF3 multiplayer experience will improve the second MW3 releases.
@scarsofbravery i knew this type of stuff was gonna happen. so, after i got BF3 on midnight release, i got home watched We Were Soldiers, then slept, next day i played the campaign with my friends and we all took turns. i had a lot of fun. but i havent touched the MP because i want the full experience, so i am waiting for MW3 to release so that some campers can leave BF, and once the PS3 communication problems is fixed then i will play the MP like crazy. im sure problems will be patched soon.

@scarsofbravery my opinion? i cant wait to play BF3. i finished the campaign, and i am just waiting for some campers to leave once MW3 gets released. the graphics,audio are amazing,gameplay looks really good, a lot of cool ideas have been added to the MP, the MP looks like it has even more replay value than BC2 ( i played BC2s MP for more than 1000 hrs). the remaining bugs, glitches, overpowered stuff will get fixed soon, once thats done i have a near perfect FPS MP that i can play for years
@scarsofbravery i hope that the newer players to BF franchise quickly grasp the essence of the game and use teamwork and their brains to win. i think BF's biggest challenge will be how it "educates" the 1st time BF players to play the game with the right spirit, because i think the other smaller problems will be dealt with quite easily e.g bugs, glitches ( DICE usually fixes it quickly and efficiently. i think the increase in community size is the biggest challenge for the short and long term
I had alot of bad luck today. Literally I was near nobody, no supressive fire around me, no explosives around, nothing. I just drop dead. I guess my guy had a heart attack. Very realistic game.

Exact same thing happened to my friend. I was covering him as he armed the objective and then a random RPG caused the tower to fall and crush him while I get the best view of it happening. Good times.

Ak1ro Treyarch may have patched it but he connection was still pretty shit and the Ak74u rapid fire was still overpowered. DICE actually delivers useful patches

Does anyone know if DICE can fix when you're playing conquest and you're capping a flag how the flag letter (A,B, C, or D) goes right into the middle of the screen.
It's so aggravating when I'm on Siene Crossing sniping on the hill watching over A and I get close enough to where it blocks off like half of my field of vision.
I played with my friends and i got moved to the other team and then one friend just got nervous when i killd him again and again and then he removed me from the friend list and then he started to hate me. So thanks DiCE. Ok just joking but hes hating me tho.
This has been the only game I have ever played where I can go 15-30 KD and still get the #1 spot on my team. I have no friends who play this on ps3 so I am always with randoms. I have faith people will get it soon so we can all have more competitive games.

How are you liking the PS3 version? People are saying there's input lag or something. I just assumed it was the different sensitivity, so far my accuracy is 12% LOL I'm not the best shot but in BC2 it was 18 - 20%.

Me and my cousin entered a conquest OpMetro and the team was spawn trapped at C. Bad Luck? No we went to the furthest escalators grabbed A then took B, let them take A back and ended up coming back from a 100 ticket deficit to win. Your luck is what you make it.

Let's see... today I spawned in a jeep a squadmate was driving, and he rammed straight into the gas pumps, blowing us both up. I spawned on a squadmate who was sniping from one of the far corners of the map, literally 3 in-game miles away from the action. Had to empty a clip into the back of his head and throw a nade at his face. Took me about 3-4 minutes to run/swim to the objectives. Gotta love em.

@MisleDification lol. i like the BF series,for e.g. i have played BC2 for over a 1000 hours. i know what i am talking about. yes, BF has camping, but its a lot less than COD. most "campers" in BF3 r usually "camping" because they are protecting/covering mcoms and flags. only some players camp in a manner that doesnt serve their team. when MW3 releases this number will reduce. may i ask how much u know about Battlefield? let me guess, u dont know shit right?! get ur facts right.

@mkahmed89 Nah people sitting in bushes prone far away from the Mcom station is considered camping...Defending is camping no matter how you look at it, yes your doing the objective but its still camping. Battlefield has always been a teamwork/objective game.

@scarsofbravery my opinion? i cant wait to play BF3. i finished the campaign, and i am just waiting for some campers to leave once MW3 gets released. the graphics,audio are amazing,gameplay looks really good, a lot of cool ideas have been added to the MP, the MP looks like it has even more replay value than BC2 ( i played BC2s MP for more than 1000 hrs). the remaining bugs, glitches, overpowered stuff will get fixed soon, once thats done i have a near perfect FPS MP that i can play for years

@scarsofbravery i hope that the newer players to BF franchise quickly grasp the essence of the game and use teamwork and their brains to win. i think BF's biggest challenge will be how it "educates" the 1st time BF players to play the game with the right spirit, because i think the other smaller problems will be dealt with quite easily e.g bugs, glitches ( DICE usually fixes it quickly and efficiently. i think the increase in community size is the biggest challenge for the short and long term

I had alot of bad luck today. Literally I was near nobody, no supressive fire around me, no explosives around, nothing. I just drop dead. I guess my guy had a heart attack. Very realistic game.

Exact same thing happened to my friend. I was covering him as he armed the objective and then a random RPG caused the tower to fall and crush him while I get the best view of it happening. Good times.

Does anyone know if DICE can fix when you're playing conquest and you're capping a flag how the flag letter (A,B, C, or D) goes right into the middle of the screen.
It's so aggravating when I'm on Siene Crossing sniping on the hill watching over A and I get close enough to where it blocks off like half of my field of vision.

"Bad Luck" mean you got killed by the environment, in this cast, as you can see the plane crashed the tower, and the pieces of it landed on you.

How are you liking the PS3 version? People are saying there's input lag or something. I just assumed it was the different sensitivity, so far my accuracy is 12% LOL I'm not the best shot but in BC2 it was 18 - 20%.

@blondbassist omg i hate that so much youll randomly be like 10 meters lower than you were shown as a few seconds earlier or the jet/helicopter doing this random stall in midair when moving forward juddering your targeting stuff all around so you cant shoot stuff -_- gets so annoying.
pretty sure ive died more from hitting random overhanging light posts and power poles in helicopters and jets than actually being killed by enemys lol.

Me and my cousin entered a conquest OpMetro and the team was spawn trapped at C. Bad Luck? No we went to the furthest escalators grabbed A then took B, let them take A back and ended up coming back from a 100 ticket deficit to win. Your luck is what you make it.

Let's see... today I spawned in a jeep a squadmate was driving, and he rammed straight into the gas pumps, blowing us both up. I spawned on a squadmate who was sniping from one of the far corners of the map, literally 3 in-game miles away from the action. Had to empty a clip into the back of his head and throw a nade at his face. Took me about 3-4 minutes to run/swim to the objectives. Gotta love em.
