I'm aware it's origami. This is designed by Satoshi Kamiya who advises people to use glue if they want to display their models for a long time because the thickness of the paper may eventually cause the model to partially unfold and disfigure it somewhat. That's why I asked.

@Oliiiverr Glue is ILLEGAL in Origami as are scissors!! It's cheating. Then anybody could just glue a bunch of shit together and call it Origami. The art of peper FOLDING. Not gluing or cutting.

It's not illegal cutting the paper is illegal but even in satoshi kamiyas book it advisers the folder to use glue if they want to display a model for a long time. It's only cheating if you use glue whilst you're folding.

Wow, looks very nice! What type of paper did you use? I hope to attempt this model within the next few weeks, and from what I have heard if you use the wrong type of paper it is very unforgiving. I recently got Kamiya Satoshi's book, working my way through each model. I am only at bahamut so far, but I do a model a day.
