A few days ago I bought some thunder bs. Great product, but the firing mechanism broke within 24 hours. I have spent over $100 on those things now replacing something that should not have broke. Just ordered one of these, hope it works better!
its not the spinning that throws the bbs out, its the gas flowing through the bb slots that pushes them out like a gas gun. the spinning comes from the gas acting as mini jets that go sideways to spin it.
If you mean do we only review products supplied by Irish retailers then yes, we are largely restricted to Irish-sourced kit. Why would any retailer outside Ireland lend us kit to review??
I have used this grenade as well as the original Tornado. I do not like them because the o-rings tend to tear quite easily, they get dirty which in turn makes them very unreliable and the plastic tabs that hold the grenade body from spinning round the metal inner tube shear off also. I do think that this particular model is a better product than the original but I would rather use Thunder-B grenades and just place a few bbs in the bottom of the body.....
keep up the nice work, and big thumbs up to airsoft eire for the gear on loan to review and MIA in recent vids,
Thats what makes it such a nice sport to play, you get replies from major shops saying yes we'll love for you to use our stock to review etc . . boosts both sides
@OddysAirsoft I would love one of these apart from english airsoft websites scre you over so they cost a ton. Great review once again thanks. Signed a mildly disgruntled english man
There is a world of difference between saying "get the products for free to review" and "get products ON LOAN". The first implies they are ours to keep, the second that they have to go back when we are finished.
Anyway, yes we do get products ON LOAN. Why? Because we asked. Nicely! Because retailers see the business benefits of having kit reviewed independently. Because it doesn't cost them much to LEND us kit. Because it's good for Irish airsoft.
Facepalm! I don't know where people get these notions. We get products ON LOAN from retailers/manufacturers. We do get to keep some bits but the most of it goes back.
We got a box of stuff recently, various bits are in some of our recent videos. We were told we could keep it but we're not going to do that, instead we're giving it all away to junior players @ Red Barn on Sunday 15th, if we were in it for the kit don't you think we would keep it ALL for ourselves??
So do we! Do you think someone pays us to do this? Maybe someone should pay us given the money that's been spent setting this up - DSLR + microphone + compact digital camera + memory cards, lighting system/green screen, MacBook Pro + Final Cut Express software + storage for the vids. That's just the hardware. What about the time it takes us to use/test the products, film the reviews, edit the footage then upload to YouTube?
first man. Seriously keep up the good vids, you have a real talent at this man,Keep up the good work. Hope more irish stores give you more products to review. Have you gooten an e mail off sg airsoft or Eirsoft?
@Omanjack It's always the same - typical Brit - comes to Ireland - eats your women, sleeps with your food - and mis-pronounces your countries name!!!!! LoL Soz my bad!
