I've never seen this before, although I believe I've seen most of your other great steel-videos on here, but this one is just SO great !
What an absolutely appropriate tribute to one of the greatest steelers ever ! Great playing as usual and the fact that you have Jean Hughey by your side there just adds to the greatness !
I met John at Jimmy Crawford's house when i took lessons for a week. A great Person & picker. I cried after his passing, playing with the Time Jumpers. John & Jean will always be in my Heart Forever
I accidentally stumbled onto your steel videos of John and yourself and others. I forget what I was actually looking for. I was lucky enough to play bass with John a handful of times, and actually got to record with him once. Watching this video and seeing Jean on stage with you, I teared up pretty good. I appreciate you putting all that you have put up on YouTube. I definitely miss John.
Bill: What a wonderful tribute to John Hughey and also by having his wife on the stage with you. I always admired John's playing and also your work on steel also. Great. Louis Armentaro from Livingston, Montana
I purchased the DVD of the Time Jumpers......man that video is the best!.... I especially enjoyed when the accordion player, Jeff Taylor says "I'm in the same band as John Hughey !!!
What a great tribute to a great guy and musician! You did yourself proud. It took a lot of guts going to "Hugheyland" but it was right on. WOW!!!! Greg
Absolutely lovely. Thank you, Bill.
