Chipmunks are much harder to trap. Squirrels are easy. Had squirrels tripping all my chipmunk traps, so finally decided to just relocate EVERYTHING that went into the traps, squirrels and chipmunks alike.
I thought you couldn't use air rifles/pellet guns in populated areas? I have a squirrel that chewed a hole in my roof so I understand what a nuisance they are. I'm looking to kill this bastard asap
I have to bring deer bones and skulls out of the woods to my home in the city and tie them to a tree to keep the squirrels from eating up the phone and cable lines.
The squirrels have gnawed the ten-point rack down to nubs and have started on the deer leg bones. Can't risk shooting the squirrels. Too many houses close by. I would need a way to keep cats and possums out of the trap, too. My cats are way too curious and the possums are just dumb.
@snocamo154 i think squirrles cant walk backwards so you could get some pvc or metal pipe and cover up one end and put kernals of corn leading them deep into the pipe and they couldnt get out i think they cant go backwards though

tape up one end and put a mouse trap on one side aso when it enters the mouse trap will close a door

Get an air rifle or a real good bb gun to take care of the squirrels. and.. try makin the hole just small enuff for a squirrel ?
