Who doesn't like happy endings? I tried to save a baby wren last week that had fallen from its nest (or more likely was dropped by my barn cat in the aisle way), but it died in the first 24 hours. :( Glad it didn't suffer long. --It actually took me 2 readings of "May the 4th be with you" before I got it. I feel silly now that it took me that long.
@dafttool win some, lose some :/ I was lucky to get this one, and to have the oportunity to set him free nad film him (or it). How is this bird called in your country? I think this was a female, because males are black.
Oh and also, it was funny that I got it on Star Wars day, may 4th, it goes well with the story, may the force be with you little birdy

@Deswaldso I think those are called swallows. There aren't that many of them down where I live (FL), but more the northern states.
