a little tip. any time you hit a single with a person second and they go home you can take second easily cause they always throw it home. so by the time they throw it to second you are safe and it gives you a double

hey have a plan when you come to the plate, get an idea of where you hit the ball with more consistancy and look for the pitch there. also on most pitchers you wanna guess fastball. unless the pitcher has a only 1 offspeed pitch and the rest a fastball variation, ei a 2 seam, 4 seam, cut, rfb, this will give u a better idea on timing the pitches.

if u get a pitch like ur line out to center be a bit earlly or later swingging and it wont go stright to him

switch ur fielding controls to classic to make O=first, X=home etc etc

and for hitting use the power swing for every swing except for when u have 2 strikes the use x. using the power button doesnt mean ur swinging for the fences it just makes ur contact that much harder. also using power swing eliminates those check swings

GG....u can hold down R2 and then hit either triangle, square, circle, or x to guess what pitch is coming...if you guess correctly the strike zone will light up red
