Just got a 2007 MS6 GT on Friday. I'm in love with this car. Its thousands less then any car in HP and torque range plus can seat 4 comfortably. And it flat out halls ass.

Hey, I'm sorry to sound like a dumb ass but, I got a 2006 mazdaspeed6 given to me today. It was in an accident but, appears to just be some sheet metal and glass. It's an old lady whose a family friend and she bought it for her 30yr old grandson and hes now on crack so she thought it wouldn't be worth anything and he doesn't need it. I don't know much about this car I'm a 300zx guy. Is it all wheel drive? Horsepower? Is it worth a lot? I appreciate the help!!!

Thanks man, yeah I'm pretty excited. I just hope I can come up with the capital to get her rolling again. Like I said it runs and drives, but body is messed up. Mostly front end. The frame/chassis seems to be in great shape.I haven't made up my mind yet, I may just sell it. It may even end up with a scrap title, but here in Detroit you can get a scrap title reversed for a couple hundo. Who knows, I may end up driving her. I'll post vids of the process if I fix it up.

@davewelds2 It's active-split real-time 4wd, with a torque-sensing rear differential. 2.3 Liter turbo makes 274 stock, 300 with cold air intake. They're highly valued because they are so rare.

i bought my ms6 like 9 months ago and love it thing is great it was a sleeper car till i put a exhaust and intake on it lol...but stock ms6 stay with stock sti/evo i ran one and only lost by a car but i was stock and he had a intake and exhaust...stock ms6 run with a good driver anywhere from 13.6-14.0 which isnt bad at all

I have a 2007 i purchased new. I got married and didnt see my Vette being a good family car.

This car will hold 4 people, has power of a 2door sports car and cost thousands less than other cars in the HP range, such as the G35, BMW3 and Z's.

It handles like a ralley car and will peg you to the seat and it will also carry the family around town.

I would not trade mine for anything out there. Never though i would love to drive another car after my vette, but this car is great.

I, too, own a MS6. I love how beastly our i4 sounds with an exhaust. It sounds grizzly. Hehe. A very identifiable sound that I haven't heard in any other car out there, yet.

I test drove the speed 6 yesterday. It felt pretty good. Had pretty good pull. But I think I like the speed3 better. It seemed to pull a little harder at higher speeds and the steering seems to be a little more precise.

I went with the speed 6 and im glad I did. Nicer interior / exterior (didn't like hatchback style)/ and its bigger.

Most of the best 1/4 times at least here on youtube come from speed 6's for some reason. At least I haven't found any very fast 3's.

why is the VTA BOV "bad" for your car over the recirc? can any explain..?

It depends on how the ECU is programmed. On the MS6 it recircs an the ecu is set to read that air and pressure the it is recircing. You take that away from the ecu (By VTA) and it freaks out the ECU resulting in idle being jacked up, sputtering, Running real rich between shifts, and hella backfires. However I ran mine in VTA with the HKS v2 for overt a year prior to my tune and had no issues besides once in a while I would get a random back fire.

I ran a 13.6 in my srt4 with wastegate, intake, and exhaust. you should be lower 13's id think with your mods. the speed 6 is a sick car, not many of them in Vermont though.

If you want Instant Results for Power.... The upgraded Top Mount Intercooler. When I had that before my front mount I saw Great Instant Results. SPool faster at Higher PSI

Yes less heat soak. I had the upgraded Top mount and it did not heat soak as bad as the stock one but it still did.

The car sounds fantastic, but it's crazy loud. DP makes all the sound difference in the world, I guess. Good sound for the track, but too loud on the street (HWY esp) IMO. Great looking car though.
