@pulakification obviously the point of owning that almost-one-of-a-kind car would not be to drive it around in cold weather conditions; it's more of an investment, and a true piece of automotive history, and will undoubtedly be worth millions of dollars in the years to come. It is already valued at close to a million dollars.
@benradler and that 1958 car is obviously is not one of a kind.. they made more cars in 1958 and not just this one.. everyone else had a common sense and recycled it... but this guy want to hoard his one.. no matter how much environmental damage it causes.. c'est parfait pour him. as long as he has people sucking his dick for owing this piece of graveyard..
@pulakification not many of those are left moron. I dont see many 1958 ferraris anywhere do you? and screw the environment, nobody cares what carbon footprint a 1958 that is hardly ever driven creates. The only person sucking dick is you, while taking another up the ass. Cool story bro.
@pulakification Good, go buy your Honda Civic. You obviously can't afford a Ferrari, ANY Ferrari, and your statement reeks of jealousy.
Stupid car? Yep. That's why people pay for them what they do. Go climb into your Civic and get nice and warm and snuggy, put on your jammies and I'll read you a bedtime story.
@pulakification i agree with you i like to see the new ferrari's and cars too but it is kind of cool that someone got his hands and kept up a old historical rare car such as that
your framing is terrible on some of the interviews.watch your lead room/head on subjects Audio is okay. Invest in a good shotgun mic with a dedicated boom operator, also get a wind screen on that mic. There was a lot shaky b roll footage, get video stabilization equipment like a glidecam, or a good stabilizing rig. establishment shot in beginning would be good too. Learn to utilize that 7d. tweaking the shutter speed and aperture can give some great depth of field shots w/ 50mm prime lens 1.4
@CheapDreamCars What would we do without your commentary on how the guy should shoot video. I was just thinking ths same thing, wow, that depth of field is awful. Why the guys 40 feet behind the cars are out of focus! There just wasn't enough time on the establishing shots. I mean, after this guy blew those shots, why, I was bummed out the whole day.
However, we are THRILLED that you felt the audio was ok. I was going to lose sleep if you didn't give thumbs up on the audio!!!
What the guy says at 5:12 is what so many people don't get about car nuts. I hate when people ask me why I like cars and motorcycles so much, and it seems like I can never give them a good enough answer, but this guy nailed it. He said it the best anyone could have, and what a piece he had too...beautiful!!!
@randomdude10010 I agree, it's a very concise and elegant statement. I just wish I'd had an external mic to record my subjects better for this film! Glad you liked it!
It really sucks that gas is becoming a problem. I really love the internal combustion engine and is a huge reason why i got into cars.

I didn't know that Cars and Coffee was such an event that was not organized. And it seems everyone is mature (considering the "no burnouts" sign)
