omar is amazing at guitar.

ive heard ikey owens' keyboard playing though, and he is excellent also. I'd just wish they'd make more use of him because you can't hear much of him in songs like this one, and it's such a shame.

you seem to be a big fan so i'll let you in on a little secret. Alot of Omars solo stuff is inspired by early John Frusciante.

I am in no way taking away from anything he has done and absolutely agree with you , but i'm jsut letting anyone who doesn't know about fruscainte know a bit, def check him out

Its funny how they need a really good drummer to make them sound good of course but I think that overmasks Omar's guitar playin' cause he ain't a good guitar player. Pridgen drumming is far more superior to Omar's guitar playing and Isiah's keyboard as well. You can't hear shit from him.

Those double kicks in that song are INSANE...oh wait...that's right...HE DOESN'T USE A DOUBLE KICK DRUM!!! HE IS TOO GOOD FOR THAT!!! HE USES ONLY ONE BASS DRUM PEDAL!! WHAT A TALENT!

Thomas pridgen is amazing. He got a full scholarship to go to Berklee college of music by the age of 15, He can play everything from straight ahead jazz to what you see here, although I do like John's sound and feel a little better for this style of music.

no, no, no... you gotta keep track of your Wards here... JIM Ward was 2nd guitarist in ATDI and nowadays fronts Sparta, and JEREMY Ward (his cousin) was TMV:s snd manipulator until he died in 2003.

This performance of cygnus was great. Even the little light thing in the back was a nice addition to the performance. The best band today.
