  • didnt alice cooper ever wear a pink dress?

  • I think he did!

  • if you think about it

it could have had something to do with american record companies

because in the 80's freddie helped david bowie leave one and join the one queen was with.

maybe that had something to do with mtv being awkward about the i want to break free video.

  • the controversy over the video for this song just doesnt make sense to me

America afraid of women in drag?

just think of one of the most popular hollywood comedies ever made

tony curtis jack lemmon with marylin monro some like it hot

then dom deluise dressed as an old lady in those 80's movies

then 80's twisted sister looking like alice in wonderland on mtv!

peter gabrial and david bowie wore a dress also and was welcomed in the 70's

  • Good old 1980's sounds. You can't beat it with a big or small stick

  • Agree!

  • finally gor the 25th anniversary dvd with the friday and saturday night shows. Friday was amaaazing!! freddie was so freaking funny because of the rain! :)

  • Can't wait to get it!

  • Not one of the best versions... lots of barking.

  • There's not as much barking as the other night, but there's still quite a bit of barking! One version that's really nice is Manchester (his singing style is like a complete 180 from the Wembley stuff)!

  • Greatness, why this show wasnt chosen is a total mystery, as far as I know this show was filmed the same way as the second night (16 or so different camera angles). I have heard some people say that this show couldnt be released as the official one because the camera crew were sort of rehearsing for the next night but I dont believe that is the reason, all editing of different camera angles is done afterwards in a studio anyway, all theyve got to do is keep filming, which they did.

  • I think way before the Wembley shows took place it was already decided that the second night would be the one that would be the official release, once that decision was made they were going to stick to it and not change their minds, even if it wasnt as good as the show the night before it.

  • I think that's accurate. I wish the first night was released though.

At least there's a few filmed songs from this night!

  • I also wondered why this night wasn't chosen: The band were more relaxed overall, and Freddie's voice was in better shape.

I heard it was raining on this night--and this was the "test" run!

  • I never liked the live versions of IWTBF, the intro is less crappy because of the audience. I don't hear them on the DVD, maybe they mixed the audience out.

  • I thought there were some good versions of the song live!

  • let's go!!! like the second concert, isn't it Greg?

  • Yes! Except this version is better!
