  • Have you investigated DMT, the spirit molecule? Its been thought by many for thousands of years that the pineal gland is where the soul enters and leaves the body. When we're children the pineal gland is very active, the gland excretes DMT, doctors are saying it produces these blissful feelings during death. Controlled scientific studies show all who take the drug are visited by similar beings. I experienced this as a child, would love to experience it again.

    Your videos are very interesting.

  • @dale3858 Thank you. Yes,I have given it thought, and I think there is truth in this.

  • @dale3858 that is intresting

  • @MLadyButterfly As of today there is my thesis, which you can find as a link on my channel. :)

  • part 2 Your being willingness and able to explore them in ways many scholars

would not is refreshing and eye opening. Many our age are not into heritage and

instead dwell in pop culture. hope we have many conversations to come and keep the vids coming! hilsen!

  • thanks for the reply! dad is intrigued by the names but before

possible quoting them, want's to be sure of proper and legit. translations. not doubting your ability, you are obviously educated and intelligent. the concern is in making sure when if published it would hold up to academic criticism. I noticed a male in the doorway behind you in a video, boyfriend or husband? It must be an honor to hold that title, you have amazing mind and a beautiful person.

  • he was wondering is he is planning a book on Norse cosmology as a model for the human conscious. and was intrigued with the prospect of using and learning the deeper knowledge of this. were you the one translating or do you have a source? Are they are yours, do you have a list of dwarf, and god names translated? and my dad also wondered if you have studied old norse or icelandic since they would translate somewhat different than modern Norwegian. my email is the_gerbil_smith@yahoo.com

  • @gerbilsmith Hi, I will email you some information later. For now, yes, I have studied old norse and base my research on original texts and sometimes I make my own translations, although I am careful to check them with those of others. Lots of names have ambigous meaning, by being names their form sometimes differ from the words they are created from and to determine meaning is in most cases an ongoing discussion, often based on how one generally understands the myth. Link to my thesis on my ch.

  • your videos are superb, they go in directions many scholars fail to go, and are deeper than even the meanings I have found in places! thank you so much. I have been an Asatruer for 16 years and my father, who's mother's family is Norwegian, is a psychologist who taught in humanistic and trans-personal psychology. He introduced me as he wanted to look at the myths in this capacity. He was also impressed by you, although wants to know of the name translations as we can't find them in any books

  • I had an out of body experience when I was younger, 18 19 years old.. it was a time of great stress, and my soul was still more pure and innocent.. I lay on my bed, thinking.. and all over sudden, I feel like floating, going up.. until 2 or 3 meters, very conscious.. then I felt turning around and saw myself peacefully on the bed, I probably panicked when I fully realized what was happening and the next moment I was in my body again, fully aware of what just happened.. Goodnight..

  • Superb! Well spoken... with great heart and intelligence. Thank you, and Blessings to you in All Ways Possible.

  • Subscribed. I love mythology.

  • you have a very nice voice and being a hindu(& male) i am unable to relate to your experiences.

But i respect those old traditions of yours which have risen out of the earth and sky of those lands which you call home.

in conclusion , Good job , please do keep it up, you have another avid listener.

    bless.

  • Great video~

  • Thank you for sharing a part of your Life that means so much to you....and to me.

You are very special my dear.

  • Thanks for mentioning the fylgja,it's also known in witchcraft as a "fetch",a small being that can be created by conscious thought to do ones bidding.(My car license plate bears the word fylgja 9,since I found the concept you discuss so fascinating.Besides, where do you need her help more than in a car?)Tusen takk for these lessons!!!

  • would you think that people that die in war or battle, experience the same bliss?

  • @iShemagh I dont know, of course, but I do not think that anyone is deprived of the bliss by a punishing "sky-daddy" as someone once put it :). However, I personally think that to die in a state of shock could cause some confusion and lingering in the inbetween/transition phase. A battle situation could easily be shocking to many people.

  • content with that. After a while I heard my name and was interrupted and came back to consciousness. It was my friend, he had been calling my name shouting, screaming 10-15 minutes calling me back to world of living. I thought I had been out 2 minutes or so. I too was sooo disappointed in coming back. What a pity for death was so sweet. Even so, I still like living! :D

  • I clicked to be a friend. I would like to send you a message.

  • You have had to plow through a number of books to do these videos. Are you reading from a book when you film?

  • @earthlav I have done research on these subjects for almost 15 years, five of them in university...I usually have some notes available when I film. There is a book in my head, though, that I "read" from.

  • Hi Lady Of Labyrinth:

I do not know anything about fylgja. I'll have to see another video. :)

Thanks for sharing your personal story. I too would like to add that these types of near death experiences transcend any type of faith. I to had an amazing journey

when I left my physical body. Many times, my spirit left to go play. To this day, I treasure what I got to experience. At one time, I would leave my body like it was a science!

  • @earthlav Thanks for the feedback. :) "Fylgja" means "follower" (feminine) in old Norse and was thought to be some sort of guardian spirit, who "followed" her human ward throughout his or her life, from birth to death and beyond. Snorri describes the same phenomenon but calls them norns - fate goddesses who spin the fate of her human. Everybody has one. It was thought that "bad lives" were caused by fates who were "daughters of Dvalinn (Coma)",and to wake up ones fate was an issue of initiation.

  • 5-stars! very nice that you can share with us...the spirit world is a very real other dimension and reincarnation is real...spirits are real...elves are real...smurfs are real...we don't always see them unless exhausted lost cold wet tired or hypothermic...but they can only cross over to us if we need their help...return to that place and perform a ritual of thanks? / @ milwaukee

  • the monster in your story is real . it is a member of the race which has been preying on the planet for 2500 years.they have a way of controling the light around them so they are "not seen" by us, similar to being blinded by the sun, but not so noticeable. They have the power to conrtrol or stun a human or animal intelligence. they eat the genetic entity which runs a body, not the soul. They are much talked about in greek myths and were able to drop a bull to it's knees before eating it.

  • "The entire globe is supported, not upon the shoulders of the mighty giant Atlas, as the Greeks had imagined, but upon the raised hood or head of a huge serpent called "Shesha". Or so it is believed by the Indi snake worshippers

The Sanke Goddess seems to be present in my life again I wonder if she is my Fylgja

  • Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences. Yes. That sense of bliss is what i experienced as well. Blessed be.

  • Nice. All throughout your story I was thinking fylgja, so I was pleased that you mentioned the name at the end.

  • Amazing video! I truly enjoy watching your videos! I have always believed that death, or near-death, experiences have a universality that transcends any faith or belief system.

  • @icemanNO1 Thank you for all you said just there. The answer to your question is yes, it has been a long journey but I feel her more and more every day. Love.

  • Hi Lady. That was a very moving video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with the rest of the world. Icelandic message on the way, sooner or later, but it will probably take awhile.

    Wassail.

  • Excellent video.

  • I read they jumped off Mountains called Hunneberg or Halleberg, with flowers in their hair. Fiction cannot be fact but fact can be fiction unless experienced, Myth is experienced. What a wonderful tale thanks for sharing, the spirit World exits for sure.
