  • wHATS the cheapest 2gb GPU out?

  • I wonder what the power bill will be like if you have those 6 monitors at home ...

  • now i just need the money for 5 more damn monitors.... fuck

  • Wow could this be any more staged? Stop reading and start putting feeling behind your product. Seems to me you can't find anyone that actually cares about the product to talk about it.

  • the further the bad-tter

  • overrated!

  • isn't this, like bad for the environment?

  • wtf lol lots of monitors , i prefer to buy an 60" or + LCD then buy lot of monitors :D

  • @devilkawasaki Sure u can, but u never gonna get the the same resolution. LCD or LED TVs are limited to only 1920x1080 (unless u hook up 2 ore more TVs) again using Eyefinity . What does more resolution mean? U get to see more around u or on top/bottom. Bigger TV will show bigger size image, of that same view u have. Look ahead of u. Remember what u see. Now twist ur head left, right, up and down. Image u can see all this at once? Now u get it?

  • Can any1 tell me how to play in 6 monitors when the ati hd 5870 just got 4 ports as max (2 dvi, 1 hdmi, 1 displayport)

  • @alexloa simple (buy 2nd AMD GPU and do CrossFire). 1 GPU can get u max 3-4 monitors. Of course AMD "forgot" to mention that 6 monitors need more than 1 GPU... its a marketing strategy ;)

  • @AlexAke not true at all, they have 6 gpu single cards. like the 5990 and 6990

  • @alexloa display port can support 4 monitors on its own when they bring out the hub for it if its already not out im not sure what one google it....

  • Bullshit...why more than 1 monitor? --'...i just want to paly...don't wanna die to pay for hardwares o/

  • @albenir56 for gaming it is so much better.

for example think of it like this.

using 1 screen on call of duty is like using 1 eye.

close one eye and your sight of the room is smaller.

using 2 screens is like opening your 2 eye. you can see more than everyone else.

so using 3 screens is like another eye.

  • @thejamieboy0 It's amazing and cool...but not necessary...just to steal our money o/

  • or just get a fucking console with a 70" tv..

  • amd&ati go go go !!!

  • Nice! I have eyfinity l. Check out my Modern Warfare 2 knife throwing montage i made.

  • wow

  • 6 monitor youporn

  • @COSMKL i will be sure to try that and report back to you :) can't believe i never thought of that

  • @COSMKL JIZZ right in your face!

  • 6 montors i only seen 3 on game pcs yet with cards do up to 6

  • omg i might get a XFX HD5770 XXX with ATI Eyefinity technology, i might buy 2 other screens for total access to this future ^_^

  • ....OH MY GOWD

    THE FUTURE...

    Of Video Games.

    DRAMA

  • ATi RADEON

     PREMIUM

    GRAPHICS

  • Can't stand the Lines though! BTW just wondering.

I am going to buy a 5770 from sapphire, but there are like 5 models... and real difference between each?

  • can do with a little less drama.

  • So what's better? This or TripleHead2Go? Or are they very different.

  • what's the game featured in :56-:57?

  • I think it's spore

  • Battleforge

  • BattleForge

  • it looks like battle forge

  • the card itself is expensive already...3 monitors makes it even more expensive....and you need windows 7 with directx 11 to bring out the potential....

  • it is way better we just have to wait till better drivers come out

  • no te preocupes que viene la radeon 5870x2

  • 5870X2 = 5970, same thing

  • No. completely different.

  • How? The 5970 is 2 downclocked Cypress GPU's. The 5870 would be 2 downclocked Cypress CPU's too.

  • @pixphi No its not the same thring -.-

As far as i konw 5970 is like 2x 5850

  • No it's not, a 5850 (Cypress PRO) has 1440 SP's per GPU, so the 5850X2 would have 2880 SP's.

    However the 5970 has 3200 SP's (1600x2) only the Cypress XT (5870) has the full 1600 SP's.

The clocks are slower to fit within PCI-SIG's 300W max for ATX cards.

  • I think im in love lol

  • Hell Yes Nice Rezolution and Great Job AMD - ATI Radeon ! 5 Stars Voted

  • I Was about to purchase a triplehead2go and now I see this. So in order for me to use 3 monitors what do i need ? And how does it work ? There is some splitter cables ? Cause new 5800 cards have only 2 DVI out same as before ..... interesting. IF anyone can provide some info in details on this technology ? Thanks !

  • 5000 series has Dual DVI-I, HDMI and DisplayPort, so you need to run Two DVI displays and one DisplayPort or One DVI, One HDMI and One DisplayPort display ;)

  • Heh.. cool technology demo, but really.. the salesmen pitching shock words left, right and center just kills it. Compensating much?

  • hahaha thats so insaine!! lets play :p

  • its crazy because i bought a new pc and had XP on it. Everything was great. But then I put the Win 7 7600 on it and its more laggy then before. it says 90% Ram usage...wtf.

Specs are : phenom 2 955 4gb ram no graphiccard yet :P onboard hd 3200

So i think i have to move up to 8 Gb of Ram

but i thought Win 7 ist faster than the old Windows Os's

  • 955 and 4GB = LAGGY?????????????

man, my brother have a E7500, 3GB ram, 9600GT with windows 7 and it run fast without any issue

I think you have a virus bro

  • i think its because my graphic card??!?!?!

    onboard hd 3200 shared memory

i hope with a hd 5850 it will be better

  • LOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLL!!!

  • 1:21 "Have some fun. Play with 3 monitors"

    ....BUY a HDTV you idiot!!!

  • HDTV have smaller resolution then computer monitor...

it's all about the pixels man!

  • 1981z28camaro, i found a better versions of the sims, it's online and free, you may want to try it, get it here ==> floprk. com/download

  • Matrox has supported three monitors for games since the 90's...

  • matrox doesnt do gaming cards - they are cards to work with

  • The Parhelia was their last card designed for gaming. They also have the TripleHead2Go adapter.

    user/MatroxTripleHead2Go

  • I was originally a nVidia guy, but when I was just about the build my first computer, BAM! 4870's came, and won me over with the price and performance. I was able to buy two which saving money on the budget still, and to think... I was gonna get a GTX280 at the time for $800. Now I hope to get one of these cards, or an X2 when that comes! ATI has re-won me over. (I had a X800 pro before, and wasn't satisfied at all)

  • I personally would get an Nvidia card for 3D gaming, it's really one of the most underrated things, it's really amazing. and it let's you play older games too, like you could play COD2 or NFS Hot Pursuit in 3D if you wanted. a 2D side scrolling game isn't going to look 3D tho.

just search for "Nvidia 3D Vision"

there's a time for performance, and then there's a time to be immersed in a game, getting 20 fps higher, something your eye wont notice a dif, isn't going to help immerse you any more.

  • Excuse me? You are seriously saying ATI can't support older games? I think you are thinking of the actual operating system VISTA can't support older games. I play my old DOS games fine pal, although I use DOSBox to emulate a DOS computer. Also, by the way. nVidia's 3D vision ISN'T the future, it makes people feel nauseous, I would say that's a serious problem. But I really could care less about 3D vision.

  • I'm saying that you can play older games WITH 3D Vision, I'm not saying you can't play older games at all with an ATI card, of course you can.

  • youtubes faggot spam protection wont let me post this, unless I fuck it up...

and if you6 play the fuck out of games6 using 3D V6ision, then yeah it might make6 you feel sick, like if yo6u use it for 8 hours, b6ut if you use it for like 30 - 60 minutes it should be fine, y6ou also m6ight just hav6e to get use to 6it as well.

    I pers6onally don't feel sick af6ter playing, so ever6yone is different.

  • I'm sticking with WIndows XP

    SCREW YOU MICROSOFT!

  • Enjoy no DX 10.

    Or 11.

    Or 12.

  • there actually is an increase in game performance with Windows 7, I have tried it, and it is noticeable.

  • lol i got shit fps in windows 7 compared to xp & vista... seriously nearly half the usual fps :S

  • i have the same :/

  • hmm weird, what are your specs?

  • e7400 @ 3.2ghz

    ati 4850 1gb

    4gb ddr2 1000mhz

it was win7 rc build 7100, i already uninstalled it, so yeah

  • yeah build 7100 blows dog balls for quarters, lol I tried it too, and I had numerous issues with it, I swore I wouldn't get Windows 7 until it's final release, but I got the 7600 RTM version, and it runs great, no problems thus far.

up to you, but the 7600 RTM, is defiantly better

  • alright, I'll download it a couple of months after it's fully released! :P

  • lol, yeah, you could do that too :-)

  • My next purchase 5870, Tanks AMD

  • Same sales BS as everyone does when something new hits the market... tiresome...

  • Love ATi, <3

2 4890's in my machine, soon to be 5870x2

  • u people said eyefinty will support 6 display today when i saw card it says 3 display support and in special card 6 display will come :( why u guys dont make it standard

  • Well, 3 is still quite amazing thing to fit on, so I'm not complaining.

  • Will ATI please stop being stubbonr, and give people what they want

IE: a Version of Nvidia's 3D Vision, I'm going to wait and see what Nvidia has.

  • ...They already have one, it's a 3rd party software that came before nVidia's though, doesn't require a 120Hz screen either. I don't remember the name of it though, sorry to say.

  • lol, yeah I tried that, it let's you play games in 3D, but it requires the use of Red & Blue glasses, so even if it doesn't require a special monitor, it's still crap, lol, like that's how I have been playing because Nvidia let's you at least play in 3D like that, if you don't have the monitor, to give you a taste of what its like with the Monitor, and the monitor let's you see 3D with perfect color.

so they have it, but its crap, no one REALLY wants to play a game looking throught red and blue

  • Just when I thought I built a monster comp along comes this, maybe my nexy build

  • Stratagy games where you can see the whole game area, Flight sims, FPS in large maps, Racing games and if added with TrackIR5 it will freaking rock.

  • I guess this shows signs of games releasing with support for 1440p, 2560x1600, and 2160p resolutions.

  • ThIS Is GaMiNG... BaBY

  • good stuff...but i would just buy a 73" hdtv before i bought 6 20" monitors. i personally think all those black lines from the monitor edges take away from the whole immersive experience. but thats just my opinion.

  • i was just about to post that. =)

  • but a 73" tv would be extremely low resolution for its size.

  • yea but it would look a million percent better because it wouldnt have all those black lines running through the screen. i would be fine playing games on a 73" 1080p tv. i dont need a million x a billion resolution to be able to enjoy a visual experience. although this is awesome technology and a very good idea...its just not for me.

  • I understand, you may have to experience it for yourself but i have used a tri monitors setup and while playing games you don't really notice the lines.

Id say in a 6 monitor setup it does the same.

  • AMD/ATi are Asome best stuff i have ever used

  • Who has the money to buy 3 HD monitors and a $400 GPU? Not me. But eyefinity and the new R800 GPU are pretty sweet..

  • The Radeon HD 5870 is making me so excited!!!

  • its out this week isnt it?

  • Yep! Wednesday!

  • i know the 5870 will kick some much ass

  • How did you find this AMD channel? Any answer

Cuz I was the first to sub

  • This Will Be Another Reason Why I'll Choose ATI/AMD For My Next Gaming Platform!!!

  • ATI FTW

  • awesome!

  • well atleast its all done on one video card with pretty damn good performance. the only thing is how well would DX11 games perform when using such high resolutions? probbly not to good. but then there is crossfire to help with that

  • ATI - AMD Forever

  • Amazing!

  • The music is too loud

I am a huge AMD, ATI fan and I will always

    be .. Obviously :)

  • The thing that kills me is that I'm gonna have to buy six monitors. lol 230 bucks x 6. you do the math. Hey but that is affordable for some people.

  • herpies!

  • Great stuffs AMD !

  • Awesome!

  • this is dumb because of the split and it would cost alot for 6 monitors or even 2, they should just sell big 40 inch monitors in stead of this

  • there are new "borderless" monitors coming out from companies like LG and NEC...some rumors that Dell might do the same...probably under their Alienware brand, specifically for this kind of stuff...
