I have UbuntuStudio on my studio desktop. It is a Linux distribution specifically tailored for audio/video/graphic production... yay
I use it to make music all the time, along with my MIDI controller, which I am getting better at playing thanks to your piano lessons. It comes with a huge amount of programs for every purpose.
I don't know if you also do electronic music, but if you do and you like linux you should check it out.
Andrew, do you use a program called GNU Solfege on Ubuntu? Just wondering since it's a fantastic and free ear training program that you can install in Ubuntu.
I wonder what video software you are using for your videos.
I've been using Linux for about 5yrs and havn't found a good video software which is stable and allows me e.g. to put texts on my video or to cut and fade from one sequence to the other with a nice animation or something like that.
Nah I use windows for video editing :) my laptop isn't for gaming, it's just for e-mail, IM, youtube, and text stuff. My desktop is the gaming computer ^_^
But, Do you have a partition on the disk of your computer, or just have Linux? I have two hard drives, one as master and other as slave, then I have partitioned the drive c. Because I need to use Solaris, Linux and Windows. You have the ability to use Linux commands? Amazing!!! :-)
Ubuntu's great. I'm going to install it on my Playstation 3 soon. Btw it's probably cold in Canada right now, but it's hot here in the land of Kangaroos and Boomerangs .. got the air conditioner right above me...
hey how about you make a video about what you think the perfect girl would be like!! im sure alot of your viewrs (myself included) would love to see it!!!

Lypur!? What a surprise! lol
Since when do you show Linux videos? You really are a hip guy. Almost as hip as me.
FYI, I'm learning a lot from your piano tutorials. I recommend them to all my interested family members :)

It seems quite nice with Linux but how about gaming, is it possible to run most computer games with Linux?
Rickeeey1 2 years ago
you can use WINE to adapt, but it is a little more difficult to game on linux. That's why you run a nice dual boot :)
Lypur 2 years ago
Do you only use Linux?
I wonder what video software you are using for your videos.

Would be very interesting what you are using :)
