Unless saxophones are newly considered "brass", this is most definitly NOT. A brass band. Percussion is acceptable because most brass bands have percussion.

nice song but... this isn't a brass band. Its a concert band. There are saxophones, saxophones are woodwind. Also you are kind of breaking the rule: Dont have percussion in a brass band. A brass band has brass instruments. This isn't a brass band. It does have some brass instruments but they are outnumbered by woodwind and percussion. Its a concert band. Hope I helped. Also try tuning to the oboe if you have someone that knows how to play it. It really helps.

I am pretty sure its a woodwind, i was under the intention that woodwind was reed instruments. And everything else was brass... and then the flute kind of falls into a category of its own... AH SO CONFUSING.

Haha, I'll correct you, if it's needed to be done so.... Sax is a woodwind, the flute is a woodwind. Reeds are woodwinds, mouthpieces are brass, minus flute and piccolo. It doesn't matter what they are made of now, just what they were traditionally made of I believe....
