I'm thinking this was or is a dub job.. He is not playing live, and I believe I can prove it.

His attempt at the sweep arpeggios are completely out of sync, but most of the rest is.? hmm. take a look at 6:17 to 6:21, right hand don't quit line up with reality. watch closely and we can see other details that don't fit. But I could be wrong. But if I'm not then why fake it? Do the best performance you can "live" and we will watch you over and over. But not the fake stuff.

@stratonut It's windows movie maker. All of my vids are getting out of sync, the longer they are, the more out of sync they get with the time. I don't know why. Notice that in the beginning the vid is ok, but then it gets out of sync more and more, the video is faster than audio.

not going to pretend to be that much better than you but your technique is flawed you play using your elbo as a fulcrum witch for rock guitarists is fine cause they don't shred but your covering petruci the fulcrum should be in the rist if you want to play extreamly cleanly it gets even cleaner if you can make the fulcrum in your thumb but that's pain full , dammiging and in most cases innificent

@rocker100991 Yeah, I do know about that. I'm a self taught so noone told me how to pick, I just did everything how I felt comfortable to. That is why I use my elbow, I hold my pick using three fingers and I hang my thumb over the neck and I almost never use alternate picking.

I know that probably I'll never be the fastest and the cleanest guitarist in the world due to that, but hey! That's not the most important ;)

@Byszwa87 U mnie nie ma nic takiego, w ogóle nie słyszałem o tym w 513, może to jakaś wersja limitowana, może ta anniversary 25 chociaż nie wiem czy to tam jest. W sumie to jest raczej niepotrzebne, są dwa przełączniki, możesz sobie załączyć humby, single, co chcesz ;)

Yes, it's blue matteo, trust me this vid doesn't show the real beauty of this guitar :)

As you can probably see, I'm a big fan of Petrucci, I wanted to buy MM JP , tried it, but after that I tried the 513 and it blew me away. Especially the comfortable neck designed specially for 513, I like it more than musicman or ibanez rg necks. It's the mahogany neck version, the sound is warm, it has pretty much bass to it but t's not muddy.

Continuing, it stays in tune all the time, unless you do to much tremolo of course :) Last but not least, it's very very versatile. I can go from single coil mode to middle humbucking which gives me some vintage rock sounds to full humbucking, which allows me to play jazz, rock, metal, whatever I want that need humbuckers. The pickups are quite hot. Tell me if you wanna know something more :)
