  • Great stuff lads some super locations, and shot superb. Oliver is a fantastic loco and seems to steam for fun,ive seen numerous vids of it blowing off,and it always looks in charge of its train, and thats from experiance, ive fired some right pigs in the past

  • Very good video. You must have covered a fair amount of mileage

  • Thanks. I can't remember exactly but it was around 450 miles. I know it's a lot but when you're stopping off at different locations it somehow doesn't seem so far.

  • Fantastic video Martyn!! 5* and fav. Once again, a pleasure to watch!

  • Thank you James.

  • I seriously don't think steam videos get any better than this on YouTube. This is remarkable. The panning shot from 6:40 to 6:55 is just fantastic!

  • Thanks very much for your kind comments. The shot that you mention was filmed by my Brother and he will be pleased as he felt it didn't work very well due to the fence hampering him. Hence the cut. Thanks again.

  • An outstanding video Martyn showing how good 70013 is and the great skills of the crew getting the best out of a loco on the top of it's form. Excellent. Just wish I had been on it though!

  • Thank you Mr Funbags. I agree, Oliver Cromwell is a fine loco and one of my favourites.

  • Another excellent series of sequences with 70013. We all had a field day out there with mixed weather conditions. She was really galloping at Whiteball and the Devon banks!

  • Thanks Ryan. It was a good day but don't mention Whiteball. We arrived too late on the way down, and on the return my shot ended so badly that it isn't for public viewing. I'll have to consign it to an outtake video. ha ha.

  • Awsome vid mate 5***** and a fav

  • Thanks very much. Glad you liked it.

  • Absolutely brilliant selection of clips Martyn..whilst I recognise some of the locations extra info would be helpful. The shots up Dainton and Rattery were superb..Thanks once again...5* Bob

  • Cheers Bob. Sorry about the lack of details, i will get round to filling them in soon. Although we have two angles of the climb of Dainton, the next two clips are of the return up Hemerdon Bank. Thanks again for your continued support.

  • Fantastic Video mate. really well put together and the selection of places were great options! great to see 70013 perform for you in her excellent fasion.. Great camera work, a real nice video heading into my favs and worth the 5* :) Cheers. Kind Regards Zac

  • Thanks Zac. Oliver Cromwell is a most reliable performer and took the South Devon banks in it's stride and never disappoints. Thanks again for your kind comments.
