  • Great talk! Thank you!

  • Gingritch is so freaking dumb. I wasn't aware that we had declared an atheist system in America! Are any politicians even allowed to be atheist in this country? God he is awful at everything.

  • If Paul is a racist, then does that make him better or worse than all of the murderers who have been president since George Bush I? At this point I'll vote for whoever doesn't let the rich rape the hell out of our economy, middle and lower class especially, and leave us on the side of the road with nothing but a dish towel.

  • LOL- Sounds like the interviewer is coming on to us after 24:30

  • What is the connection between Ron Paul and the John Birch Movement?

  • @FedupwithR There is a very deep one. I suggest you google it.

  • @BUCollegeDems

Thanks, you're right. I had Wiki ed it and found nothing of interest.

  • Religion is a disease of the sick mind.

  • @Unh0lymystic Religion is what will crash the human enterprise.

  • DEMOCRATS!! WERE GONNA TAKE 2012 BY A LANDSLIDE!

  • It's obvious none of these people have seen a real theocracy. Even if they ban gay marriage and abortion in all 50 states , that's not even close to theocracy. Btw if any of those GOP nominees get elected ,they will forget all the religious promises . They will only cash in and leave .

  • @interfan63

Yeah becuase thats what Georgie porgie bush did huh?

  • excellent dialog

  • to even have religion in politics shows how fucked up these people are.

  • where did Evangelical christian come from. i just want to know how and when this happened.

  • @Aliballer i dunno. It was a gradual thing. Wikipedia says it started in the 18th century. Protestant secs have always been big in the US, ironically because they were avoiding religious persecution.

  • @Aliballer They were always there, it's just that they didn't get involved in politics until first Jimmy Carter courted their vote. When he failed to meet their expectations, Reagan got them to vote Republican.

  • All religious folks think if the world operated on THEIR agenda & believe the same Fairy Tales THEY do, then it'd be heaven on earth.

Problem is, even if you dealt with just the top 3-5 MOST popular superstitions alone, NONE of these knuckleheds would go along with the others.

In fact, MOST would rather DIE before going along with one of the other 3-4.

'Tis what happens when adults believe in Fairy Tales & such beliefs are SYSTEMATICALLY indoctrinated over 100s to 1,000s of years.

  • Well.. living in Europe has it's advantages.

  • @777neotamakachi777 if you cant say anything smart say something offensive.. ?

  • That woman with the glasses is a flat out liar, you not allowed to pray in schools, in government run schools they will suspend and expel you, I don't know what world she's from, must be an atheist because she sure talks out of her you know what about stuff she knows nothing about.

  • @foresakenlion i prayed in schools all the time. you are the liar.

  • AJ is a joke on this one...Trying to put an islamist touch to the US...wrong and pretty braindead

  • For the GOP, every politics is grounded in a theological view of reality. It is also paramount that every theology is inherently political. If you're planning on voting Republican, and your theology informs your politics, watch this please! You support, indirectly, the rise of Christian Nationalism!

  • The Protestant Taliban with a finger on the nuclear button.

  • Puritanical politics in the 21st century, for shame.

  • ARENT these the people who would protect a sperm attached to an egg so when grown they can go to war/

  • Well there is no need for it to get anymore obvious. There is war against religion. At least it cant be denied for mich longer.

  • @Kooshkff Whatever.

  • Ron Paul!

  • Evangelicals are not in any way looking for a theocracy. They are just looking for protection of their rights. Just like homosexuals. The problem is there is massive mistrust and gross misunderstanding between each other. The politicians lie about the other group to get votes. Many gays think that evangelicals are looking for an outright ban against them. But that is so far from the truth. And evangelicals think gays are trying to force themselves onto them which is not true as well.

  • @ETworldjone

the protections of their rights means a rejection of the rights of others. In a way they do want theocracy since these evangelist groups are pushing strongly for religious based laws!!

  • @lordblazer 'the protections of their rights means a rejection of the rights of others.'

That is a gross and stupid interpretation of the phrase. When you 'protect' something FOR specifically that particular community how does it lead to a rejection of rights for the other community?? (unless their right is to prevent rights). If Christians don't want the usage of gay marriage in their community who are you to force it on us through the government?

  • @ETworldjone When this group stops going after, gay marriage, abortion, publicly held prayers by gov't officials, etc. Then you can make the statement you just made. they are relentlessly pushing to ban gay marriage, to ban abortion despite it being a human right violation. Its gotten crazy women who miscarriage are getting locked away for murder. kids can pray in school the teacher can't do forced group prayers which is what they want. It conflicts with the rights of others.

  • @ETworldjone

ha ha, yea right. you are one of those lunatic religious christian fundamentalists psychopaths.

  • Praying before a football game is tradition even for muslim players, but after the democrats took over, it has since been banned in high schools.

  • @TheSupercat2468 WHAT!?

  • Most politicians are liars, all they want is to suck the life out of you. And those that do tell the truth, and have the best intentions for the people...... Well they simply get terminated or never get into power, i am not saying people should not vote. But if you vote always keep in mind, that you are never going to be 100% satisfied with the work that politician delivers.

  • @KuriapXia I second that.

  • you are a joke al jazeera.. Theocracy...come on...use your brain

  • @timjohan

well I wish I could think AJ is joking, but I think they hit the nail on its head. the christian right wingers have become very powerful in such a sort time, and there is currently social instability in the US so they can grow even stronger. This is a good opportunity for them to have a power grab. They have done so before to get to this point!

  • Bullshit our validictorine walked of because they would now allow him to pray before his speech. We should be free to do as we please this was skewed race religion anything to scare a democrat Ron Paul is that powerful they will try nything.

  • Obama the muslim infidel :D

  • Wow, in this day and age an election based on religious beliefs? I hope the Republicans win, if Obama continues in office there will be a World War, not caused by action more like cause by omission but some of those Republican nutjobs they have running are ridiculous.

  • DAMN YOU FOX NEWS YOUR SCREWING ALL OF US OVER by making the the citizens of the most volatile nation on earth with nukes more stupid

  • The Religious Right: "We don't like anything anyone does"

  • The US is not a theocracy trust me.

  • @KuriapXia I DONT THE US HAS BECOME WHAT ITS FOUNDING FATHERS HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIGHT A THEOCRACY IS WHA IT HAS BECOME ITS BECOME ASICK RELIGIOUS MONSTER MAURADING AND MURDERING PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD

  • @Abbadon380 With all respect don't CAPS everything, secondly their killing and maurading as you call it has NOTHING to do with religious beliefs. It has to do with money and power, and yes one could use religion for bad things. But trust me Bush did not invade Iraq to convert the people, he did it to steal their oil.

  • @KuriapXia sry for the caps but the US has to fight the christian right or were all doomed it has enough nukes to destroy us 20 times over

  • @Abbadon380 For me personally i don't understand, why a supposedly Christian right would even vindicate the use of nuclear weapons. I am sure you noticed but i am a Christian too, and i believe that Christianity should stay separate from politics. What baffles me is the amount of people, getting deceived by these politicians under the guise of "hey look at me i'm a "Christian", so everything i do is trustworthy and good". Well wake up people, because the Devil can appear as an angel light!

  • @KuriapXia

try being black. it gets even crazier within the black church, where a lot of people believe MLK made a prophecy that Obama would be president right before he died. And that once Obama is president then black ppls time in America is up and our whole purpose was to show the world how to worship god no matter how much crap we've been through. Anyway added to it a lot believe the rapture will come after everyone born on and before 1948 die.

  • @KuriapXia

that is based on their recognition that Israel has never been its own state before. Just a collection of tribes that has always been occupied by one empire after another.and 1948 is the founding of Israel sooo they believe that generation has to die or i think the rapture happens before they all die. Anyway the bible says nothing about this. explicitly says you will never know when its going to happen. kind of a way to say "live fucking life and don't dwell on end times."

  • @KuriapXia

of course like all super religious people that message in the bible goes over their heads, and they dwell on this stuff, making up conspiracies like this. I'm still christian, but you won't be seeing me attending church very often since it has gotten more cultish here in the bible belt. It is very scary, and I live in a state that is experiencing economic growth right now. I wonder how it is in places that suck ass to live in, probably is one big Jonestown.

  • @lordblazer Thanks for your input man, i appreciate your view on things. One thing's for sure, that as time progresses things are getting crazier and crazier. People's views on the bible, whether they be believers or non believers unfortunately also get more twisted. And i think it is wisest to not get pulled down with the rest of them, just stay firm in your connection to God and your beliefs. It only takes half a braincell, to figure some people out....

  • @KuriapXia

lol yea pretty much. I don't know what to do though. Being in the bible belt distorts your view on America especially when you spent as much time as I did living out of the country. Japan is enjoyable because they're not having these culture wars. They do have culture wars, but it doesn't bleed into religion. Most Japanese do not care what your religion is.

  • Are mormons christians? No, they follow extra-biblical books supposedly revealed by Joseph smith out of a top hat, while their christianish they break some pretty major pillars of orthodoxy to count as one, Namely that their Henotheist who worship one god but accept the existence of other deities.

  • @Obasiliasfilosofos Have you ever seen this video? I suggest that everyone who read this comment, checks out this video it exposes Mormonism.

    watch?v=7q6brMrFw0E

  • I don't think Romney would have nearly as much problem being a Mormon, their just viewed as a whacky sect but I don't think they're nearly as intensely opposed to a Mormon candidate like they would be towards an Atheist or a Muslim..

  • JFK was faced with anti-catholic voters, being a democrat his base was not the bible belt, At that time most protestants had kept to their reformation era phobias about the Papacy, Too many had been reared to believe that the pope was the anti-Christ which is why they were irrationally afraid of a catholic president back when JFK was running.

  • DEMOCRACY.

  • I live in Australia, our PM is an atheist I'm far luckier than I realized, I don't believe in myths, I have studied science and I consider this religiosity unenlightened. Is it lack of broad and comprehensive education and our tendency to superstition? I fear for humanity if we cling to bronze age beliefs, I fear the looming clash of fundamental Christians and Muslims, I despise these people lobbying their outdated moral systems onto the rest of us. There are no gods stupid humans!

  • @devilzangel111451 Agree:)

  • @devilzangel111451 im christian and i will say this our fundamentalists will screw us all over

  • The USA is a theocracy bro.

  • @youngbuck189

    its a idiotcracy

  • Ron Paul!

  • @TheChad26753 I see your choice is Theocracy.

  • @TheChad26753 Paul is a fucking racist...Oh, I'm sorry... I'm talking to a Paulbot.

  • @PsychedelicRoadshow No I'm a Navy veteran with an honorable discharge and a job what are you a gaybot?

  • @TheChad26753 - Geez, why are military people always so interested in men's penises? Are you one of those guys that piss on dead corpses or are you one of those guys that shoot Iraqi women after raping them? - You see, this shit runs both ways. YOU CAN'T TAKE A JOKE and your inner-gay comes out in the form of homophobia. To answer your question, No, I am a rock musician who has been SELF EMPLOYED for 26 years and hundreds of women still throw their panties up onstage...yum!

  • these are the people who really run america's middle east foreign policy. not the jews.
