  • poor plane :p

  • That would be so fun!

  • This accident was in Medellin - Colombia

  • Another one for the boneyard

  • LOL nice one

  • did anyone notice at the start of the video...that even if this was an aborted takeoff, the pilot had NO reversers on until the very last minute ....by that time it was too late.

    crazy!!

  • @LaminaDieWills It was an aborted takeoff. I worked for this company when it went off the runway. Lost the #1 engine.

  • @MrScuba247 Did it harm the hydraulics or electrics or something when it blew?, because the emergency stop procedure is everything on to stop asap

It just seemed like they had trouble stopping it with the brakes. Any ideas apart from the 1st engine blow out?

  • @MrScuba247 ahh no youre right, they must of gone past V1 speeds. plus i bet the rain didnt help either.

  • Thank you very much for flying with us today. Please pick up your complimentary pair of clean underwear before deplaning. We hope you have a most enjoyable day here or where ever your travels take you. Please feel free to now turn on your electronic devices and/or restart your pacemakers.

  • did they die? Lol!

  • Thank you for boarding Holy shit airlines

  • Good, Fair, Poor or Nill : )

  • Ouch...that's hard to watch.

  • Not a bad landing, at all.

  • @train52000 aborted take off not landing

  • I wish we could hear the cockpit recorder!

  • @sethmarsh3 We'll make it dont worry..... OHHH SHHIITTT!!!... Dammit i dropped my joint.

  • Well, you know what they say. Any landing you can walk away from.......

  • @bigdnelyria aborted take off not landing

  • Is there anybody died?

  • hahah gg

  • Why didn't he turn then brake after turning? Or even if the engine didn't fail and he wanted to take off, could this have happened?

  • Wouldn't the plane tip over if he turns too hard whilst braking too.

  • i love 0.52

  • thats pretty funny perfect title too

  • AH hell put some duct tape on it. it will be fine.

  • please return the stewardess to her original upright position thank you for flying crash airlines. we hope you enjoyed your crash.

  • nice place to park a 747

  • you should see the pilot do doughnuts on the runway!

  • hahah

  • Oh that? Nah that's just a scratch, it'll buff right out...

  • man that will need at least a wax job

  • do a mad skid bro!

  • I wonder if the police will take the report since it happened in a parking lot. i can tell it is well over $100.00 in damage. Plane probably needs new shoes or break pads one or the other

  • you mean runway?

  • It's gonna cost over a thousand bucks to fix all that

  • A little more than a thousand... :)

  • is it the pilot still alive or dead??

  • are you kidding me? of course he is alive

  • luckily that was cargo, not passenger, AND my ipod is broken now :(

  • lol, the pilot put down the spoilers after the crash i see.

  • Well if the plane was completely shut down there would be no hydraulics to keep the spoilers up.

  • You can clearly see the spoilers up as the plane slides down the runway. :)

  • they arent spoilers

  • erm, they look like 747 spoilers to me.

  • yeah it's the spoilers :) (spoilers = speedbrakes, if anyone wonders)

  • The spoilers is already up before the crash. Look closer!

  • at least it was'nt one of those computer generated fake fucking planes. i hate that.

  • They were really lucky

  • Whoops! Someone call AOG

  • the pilot had to pay all the damages...

  • Don't say idiotic things like that. Insurance companies pay for the damage. They're mandatory in the airline business.

    What an asshle.

  • 1. if you dont like any of my comments, dont even reply on them..

    2. it was a joke you dumbass, i didnt mean it! so fuck YOU, asshole

  • Well if that was a joke you've got a moronic sense of humor my friend.

At least you could have added something like ;o) cos your initial sentence seems childlish rather than ironic. Anyway..

  • It's amazing how BOTH OF YOU would react to such profanity just because of a misunderstanding... Which is quite sad.

  • haha dude thas hilarious jpc is a dumbass tryna argue priceless material

  • that plane is knackered up pretty good!

  • Totalled indeed. The plane was written off completely.

  • The investigation report mentioned that the Pilot and Co-Pilot were both fired. Their plane overshot the runway during landing because they were eating in the flight deck. Just google it.

  • bullshit .. this was an aborted take off in medelin colombia due to engine failure

  • Lol Google what? Let's see your "investigation."

  • Comment removed

  • didnt think a 747 would be much use off-road!!!

  • I hope that its totaled.

More job security for all of us here at the Boeing plant.

  • it is mental when a plane just explodes when it runs off the run way the slighest touch of a pole and it explodes

  • Commercial planes are primarily built to be light, not tough. There are tons of videos of military planes having wings torn off, scraping against the ground at 200 mph, and so on with the pilots walking away and often recovery of the airframe itself.

  • hey mike... i think we missed a turn back there

  • what does IMFOA mean?

  • its lmfao no lmfoa

    lmfao=Laughing My Fucking Ass Out

  • Hah and that time YOU messed up.. it's off not out. rofl

  • no you shit head, it means laugh my fucking ass OFF

    get it right, dumb ass

  • hahaha the comments are kinda funny here..

that was a worst accident..but the cameraman is a stupid.

  • You idiot the 747-100F wasn`t even touching down because it was taking off! you can see the flaps are clearly at 10 degrees and the pilot RTO but ran out of runway length

  • I think you're the idiot here u can see the speed brakes were clearly deployed. what moron would take off with the speed brakes engaged..get ur stuff right

  • wow you are such an idiot! When you are speeding down the runway nearing V.1for takeoff an engine fails, you attempt to stop quickly by using the SPEED BRAKES to kill the lift so you won`t lift off the ground and if he was landing you can see the flaps full not at 10 degrees also he would has less likely crashed! YOU SHOULD GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE COMMENTING ME!

  • look moron, the speed brakes were deployed from beginning to end. go to air crash dot net and you'll know exactly what happened with the 747. flaps full not at 10 degrees...you don't have a clue what you're talking about pal...go back to FSX pal

  • dude i know what i am talking about because if you READ THE INFORMATION panel it clearly states that he lost an engine on TAKE OFF! your the dam moron because you didn`t even bother to read the information panel! All i am going to say is he lost an engine during takeoff with flaps set to 10 for takeoff and while speeding down the runway he lost an engine and aborted by deploying Speed Brakes and powering engines to Idle and applying full brakes however the runway was wet.now who`s the smart one

  • hey smart one, thanks for bursting ur own bubble. so you "knew" everything simply because you read the "information panel.." good lord...if the guy who wrote the information panel messed up...does that make you an instant dim bulb? LMAO. you're relying on secondary info from an unknown source so stop talking like you witnessed the whole thing. geez

  • He is right..in the description it clearly states that this happened during takeoff.

  • Dumbass,you don't have a clue.

  • well you must know everything flying your 1940 FSX plane

  • WATCH AMER0

  • If it was only a single engine failure he could have easly taken off on three engines and gone around for a landing. When he aborted the take-off he might have been below Vr but he certainly was above V1. Aborting after V1 is a death wish, it basically means you WILL come off the runway if you attempt to abort. Of course, if it was a multiple engine failure, then this was the pilots only option.

  • @chrispilot I agree. The pilot made a bad decision - he should have continued the takeoff with 3 engines. A 747 can easily climb out with only 3 engines working, unless it is overloaded. Not the first time this mistake was made though. At least everyone was OK.

  • jesus all coz the captain was getting blown by an air stewardess..i would have demanded a bottle of their finest scotch before evacuting!!

  • Hello, they don't have flight attendants on cargo planes.

  • whoa that was so lucky!!

  • I had the change to photograph this same aircraft in Chile a few days before the accidente. A Real shame!

  • NO ONE DIED. MY FATHER WAS THE PILOT!

  • hes also a gay

  • i wouldnt admit that to too many people.

  • lol

  • BOLLOCKS!!

  • Amazing Stuff - The captain must have greased the track!

  • everyone onboard would have been fine

  • it was a cargo plane

  • atleast it's a cargo jet so only the pilots could be injured

  • Houston......we got a problem.

  • THAT ISENT FUNNY

  • There is web page with all the explanation about this accident, its called airdisaster dot com

  • its a cargo plane there are no passengers!!!

  • no, they have to ring tiger claims

  • Where did this happen?

The runway looks small for a 747.

  • i'm just wondering... what happens to the survivors of crash landings..... do the airlines give them anything? any compensation? such as a GOLDEN TICKET like for the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815??? loll

  • beceriksiz bunun gibi adamları pilot yapıyorlar:D

  • If this runway had had a better overrun area, the plane might have been salvaged. But as you can see, the area at the end was so soft the plane sunk to its engines.

  • For it's size, somewhat amazing the aircraft grinded to a halt so quickly.

  • The landing gear probily sunk into the grass, dont know if this is a fact but sound plausable..

  • Yeah, wet grass +747, sure it'd sink in. That's the least of their concerns.

  • wtf

  • omg!

  • There isnt enought room to abort takeoff after V1 decision speed. Maybe he should continued the takeoff. But i dont know what the circumstances were

  • ok. bad video. you can't tell if he landed, or was taking off. theres nothing to talk about, except for the fact this this vid. sucks!

  • Can you read, slugger? The description I wrote clearly explains that it occurred on takeoff.

  • yeah, slugger! i can read, but if you would have noticed, your not the only one who posted this video. there are so many descriptions, one says that he was taking off, the other says he was landing. did you record this video? where you there, with a camera, recording it all? NO! so, what do u have to say. shut up, "slugger."

  • I know the management of Tradewinds, the aircraft was on takeoff not landing. I know the mechanic that was on board. lol

  • did he die?

  • $1.5 million to scrap in like 10 seconds....nice...That's coming out of his paycheck

  • A note about your description of the video: when you lift the nose on takeoff roll is called "rotation" not roll. And the speed above which you must not abort takeoff is called V1, NOT the rotation speed (Vr).

  • Durr, stupid mistkae on my part. Fixed!

  • uuummm the plane ran out of run way when it landed!

  • wont be gettin his ATP lience anytime soon

  • This took place in Medellin colombia secondlargest ciGreat videoty, the plane was scrapped formetal. A total lose.Great video.

  • oh dear perhaps he should have gone round for a second go there, or was there mech failure? Something that really shouldnt happen in a 742

  • um...that is caused by the absense of what we call "Friction" which was reduced by Dihydrogen monoxide. Although us technical people call it "Water".

    IT'S CALLED WEATHER YOU MORON!

  • who you calling a moron? Nice attempt on the trying to be clever, but as a pilot this still should not happen regardless. You probably dont understand the physics behind it all when it comes to aeroplanes, but nice to see an effort being made. Thumbs up

  • nah was a mechanical failureas he was taking off

  • ok no music and the show stopps at 30...

  • mambo jumbo..

  • how to plough a field with a jumbo

  • Thats one for the tech log...better phone ops...

  • Nearly ruined a perfectly good football pitch

  • before roll or pitch ?

  • i think his language was more "color" full than oops

  • yeah hahahah!

  • oops
