Stelth rocks won't be as prominent is 5th gen because there won't be a TM of it.Even though it rapes the new fire moth pokemon which is kinda dissapionting because that's one of the new ones that is pretty cool that i forget the name of... but anyway not as many pkmn will be able to learn it so in 5th gen mine will probably be spikes on skarm. but for 4th gen, definetly rocks.

I actualy have a combos of mydrapion + fortresse , + my cresselia wich works wonders : set up With your fortresse stealth rock , spikes and toxic spikes , prioritizing toxic then rocks then spikes and then KAA BOOM ! , go to cress and double screen going then into your drapion and just whirlwind , and rest and sleep talk , and aqua tail , It just pwns

My favourite is probably Stealth Rock, because there is nothing immune to it and it IS a 1-turn investment.

Not sure which I hate fighting the most. Toxic Spikes are easy for me, all I need to do is switch in Nidoking. Spikes I haven't seen used against me yet, so I can't say. For Stealth Rock though, I'd guess it would be annoying for me, as I main Typhlosion with either Jumpluff or Ninjask as support for it.

Stealth Rock is a lot of fun to use, but not play against. It's what made Charizard NU ;_;

Other than that, Toxic Spikes is fun to play with, but it isn't "gg" for your opponent, either. Plus you only need two layers.

Stealth Rock is the best entry hazard by far. Because it only requires one turn, damages all Pokemon which means breaks all Focus Sashes. The amount it damages is still enough to get you the necessary K.Os.

Most importantly, without SR to keep certain Pokemon in check, Salamence and Gyarados would be running rampage everywhere.

@ykpro - Wow. Snorlax and Quagsire don't have the toxic orb, the opponent set up toxic spikes which poisons pokemon that switch in. Flying types, and pokemon with levitate avoid them...

Spikes are defenitly my favorite, but there are just so little Pokémon that can actually set them up properly. I think Forry is the best, but he's just too Fire-prone...

But really, Spikes demolishes everything that it can hit, so all you need is a lot of Ice moves on a team that utiziles Spikes, which is epic.
