  • YAY! I'm the 36397 person to watch this

  • anyone knows the TABS to this!? anyone?! :]

  • A good, interesting, take on a great old tune. Don't think we'll ever wear that one out, it just keeps getting re-interpreted.

  • I'm tired of all these yankees and canadians stealing our music from the Southland. This version sucks.

  • @benkit49 On their 'Oh Susanna' you said 'I actually think they are fantastic!!'.Just so readers are up to date with your latest view :)

  • I feel dizzy after watchin this ... :) great version of this song tho :)

  • This is the only version I've heard that I really like. But then I like everything the BGTs do. Deeply soulful.

  • Beautiful cover, but it lost the 60th spirit....

  • wow...just wow.

  • beautiful cover....

  • it's a great song, it's writen by a woman or in a point of view of a woman, and it's meant to be sung by woman, it's a great version but i wish she could sing in a way that i could understand what she's

  • coś pięknego

  • I love the sunset creeping through the blinds....

  • YAY! I'm the 7,777 person to watch this. :)

  • @Desmondiva - congratulations!

  • @Desmondiva (7 months ago...) weeeiirrd.

  • The oldest known existing recording is by Appalachian artists Clarence Ashley and Gwen Foster and was made in 1933. The actual origin and authorship is lost in folk obscurity...

  • cat power also has made a great cover

  • Wow! The video is amazing and the song done by many but none quite like this. I love everything about this video/song combo. They each fit together just perfectly. Thank you for posting this chase...!

  • @sharylc - thank you for the positive feedback..!

  • @DermochelysCoriacea are you kidding?

  • i would love to learn this strumming pattern

  • This is a beautiful video. It really suits the song.

  • thank you.

  • This was always a woman's song. The original lyrics, I mean. It's sung by a prostitute, not by some guy whose downfall was visiting one, contrary to what the Animals got everyone to believe.

  • i agree, deenibeeni ...

  • @deenibeeni

I haven't even heard The Animal's version, but that sucks balls.

  • @deenibeeni funny how our society see's the side of the man who ruined HIS life through his desire to visit brothels, but not the side of the poor women who HAD their lives ruined :/ same all through time even in Greek mythology where Medusa was punished for being raped by Poseidon. in John Lennon's words "women is the nigger of the world"

  • cool to see Michaelapolis' artwork in this vid. :)

  • Yeah, its a sad topic... and they, especially Frazey, make it *sound* beautiful.....

  • This video brings the song to life so perfectly...You are the king of HD BGT,sir !

  • thank you. I was actually a bit unsure about putting it up and had to tone down a few of the pix, lol...
