  • This is an amazing video. About water, used to love coke and lemonade/sprite. Thought diet coke was such a no calorie health drink until I gained weight. Now water is the only thing i drink :) lost 10kg in 8 months

  • @floweriepot I drink coffee everyday, just one cup and that is perfectly fine. I also only drink it in the morning so it does not interfere with my sleep. Avocado fat is the healthy kind, and I call it avocado oil, rather than fat. Avocados have so many good nutrients in them and I also eat one every day! Love them!

  • @mrswwe1 Thank you for the nice comments. I am also scared of fake sweeteners! I just think that one day we will hear about a study that show how bad they are for us. i try to stick to natural sweetener and if I have candy or cookies, I go for the real sugar. it is what you do most of the time, not some of the time that matters most! My motto anyway!

  • @roundlady hey it's really cool where i live ( berlin ). i think a lot of people have a bad attitude to germany..which i understand i mean everybody knows 'our' past... but really there are nice places here  even thoe germany is definetly not my favourite place in the world =)

  • Yeah its rear that I eat cookies full of sugar, but I had a oats mixed berry muffin a healthier type recently. Yup I have a food diary too! I do go over to change my eating habits it helps me to see what I'm putting into my body. but also its about portion size some people eat too much of bad foods.

  • @roundlady I try it not easy but I was put on a strict diet when I was young. I do limit how many bits of sweet items I have e.g. chocolate is everones fav and I try to limit to just 2 or 3. Maybe you should make a video about how to control potions etc.

  • Not often I have cream etc but i love my fruit. Honey is great! I stopped having sugar in my tea, what type of tea can you drink? I hardly drink I limit myself to 2 drinks most of the time. Good idea of using shot glass of portion sizing. The to things I don't like about myself is my tummy and thighs can you do a workout for these to targets? Sodas are bad I don't drink those but my brother and his wife does it's suck! Water is good my body loves it when I dont drink soda.

  • What are the best cereals & sandwiches to eat?

  • Oatmeal, cream of wheat, and any whole grain cereal that do not have sugar or other additives in them are great cereals. For sandwiches, eat French or Whole grain breads and then put healthy things inside the sandwich like peanut butter and jelly or bananas, or one made with tomato slices, cucumbers, lettuce and lean meat (like leftover chicken), or eggs, and use mustard in place of mayo - or just a little bit of mayo.

    What are your thoughts on eating granola bars?

    Sometimes I hear that its a good thing to eat, and sometimes I hear its very fattening.

    Its confusing.

  • You have to look at the ingredients on the granola bar, and if there are ones you cannot pronounce -- meaning they are not natural and likely chemicals and preservatives. Avoid granola bars with lots of chemicals and preservatives.

  • There are exceptions. Check out the ingredients and if they are just food items and not a list of preservatives, you might be okay!

  • Try chewing gum instead and drinking ice water or hot tea. You can also get up, go take an easy walk and burn 300 calories in a hour. Also, get the healthiest foods in your house so that you only have the option of eating healthy foods. If I buy something like a thing of ice cream, I know I'll eat and would be lying to myself if I said I was just keeping it around for who knows what.

  • I often don't know how many calories something has when I'm going out to a restaurant or someone is cooking for me - what should I do then?

  • I actually have a little guide in my book for choosing from a restaurant menu, and you don't need to count calories. I go by portions for each item, and I show you different ways to measure portions no matter where you are. I think I have that on my blog too.
