I worked at this plant. I can say that I no longer work there now due to lay offs. I can also tell you that the so called Union needs disbanded as a whole. There is no room for it anymore. It's anti-productive and only causes more problems than it claims to fix and all at the expense of thier "dues". You actually have to pay them to mess things up even more than they already are. There are laws in place for companies to follow, we don't need paid muscle to make things worse for us.

when you view this video which is corrrect,same thing happen at dana auburn hills,mi by the UAW LOCAL 771, the working conditions became worst,one day after being employed by this company for over 44 yrs i was escorted out by two policemen, over a drum up charges, bottom line was i innocent prove guilty,the union president refused me a polygragh test to prove my innocense and let me back for my job, only the special thugs,goons was protect by union chairperson, yes man to the company,

EMPLOYEE FREE CHOICE ACT..Doesn't it sound pretty..it's a trick. Dems are always coming up with pretty titles or and explanation of a proposition designed to fool you...for instance prop 1a is going to be on the ballot in Ca..they went to court to be able to word the explanation of the proposition they way they see fit...1a is worded to make you believe it's a cap on spending but it's really a 2 year extension tax hike...ca is screwed..unions and government has screwed us.

Union Organizers are fascist thugs.

Back when Unions were formed, we had no Min.Wage, OSHA, Workmen's Comp, etc.

But now, everything that Unions were originally formed to accomplish...has been accomplished.

Unions are still clinging to power, and trying to force people to join against their will, so that Union Bosses can continue their lavish lifestyles.

Unions have driven factories & jobs away to the welcoming arms of other Countries.

Unions have killed more jobs than they protect.

Unions were not formed for any of the things you mentioned. Those were a result or healthy consequence of Unions. The unions were formed to destroy worker alienation which was and is all too common in an industrialized economy. The represent community and Democracy in the workplace. Unions are a healthy and necessary way to counter the concentration of wealth and Corporate power and abuse. If a board of directors can organize for the sole purpose of maximizing profits, why cant workers organize.

I gather Unions do not offer classes in remedial language, spelling, or grammar skills. You only work 5.15 hours out of an 8 hour shift. You should have time to hone your lame debating skills.

Business bosses and fox pretend that they care about workers rights; they need to tell the truth they want to pay less then minimum wage, fire and hire whoever they want and make all the money they can. And if they can do that by exploiting workers in the Un United States and other country that dont have human rights, labor laws or safety standards all the better.
