I saw Beirut at Hyde Park last year and this particular song blew me away. Watching your video to this song brought a tear to my eye. I am a 32 plumber on a building site in south east London and if the boys knew anything about this I would be ripped to pieces. Well done for your achievement!

Thanks! That was probably the hardest part. The rest of the photos were randomly taken throughout a year or so (not for this song or anything, but totally fit). When I decided I wanted to put together a stop motion to this song I added two parts that I shot specifically for the song: the sunset and me holding the umbrella. I was hard doing the umbrella part because I was alone. I had to set the camera on a tripod, press the timer and pose over and over.

I don't know if I answered your question, but after shooting the photos of myself with the umbrella I put them all into imovie and used some effect which split the photos in two to make it look sort of like two people.
