@gentilezerothree how to get the panning effect, is you just get one shot, fully zoomed out. And then in a movie making program, you zoom in on the shot, and pan from one side to another.

so the original shot doesn't move, but what you see in the video does.

this is the best time lapse video I've ever seen. I love watching the clouds sequences. They are my favorite. The airport is awesome too. They look like UFOs. And a brief note, the BIG cranes that are used to build sky scrapers... those make for EXCELLENT time lapse videos/pictures.
