  • Feliz cumpleaños, Maestro Mason!

  • Happy Birthday NICK!! :) EXCELLENT DRUMMER!!!

  • Happy Birthday Nicholas Berkeley Mason :D

  • 04:43 Master!!!

  • One of my favourite songs ever. What combination of music and images!

  • No,I think that those 27 people put dislike becauses they were so excited by this epic song and then were in ecstasy,so they couldn't understand anymore which was the like button :)

  • 1:47 fail, but is nick mason, so i don't even mind

  • this is why i hate justin bieber.

  • lol Nicky & his drumstick...at 4:43...

  • @tariksba All drummers drop sticks at some point. No big deal. Good recovery, actually.

  • YUP

  • DOES GOD EXIST?

  • Whoever said a butterfly shirt on a guy was gay did not know Nick Mason.

  • I thought it really cool to feature Nick on the drums for this video...Now I know the reason: His is the voice of "One of these days I'm going to cut you into little pieces" 'Possibly the most interesting thing about "One of These Days" is that it actually stars myself as vocalist — Nick Mason

  • @TomN2010 Also saw here on YT a doco about this. Mason reckons the video featuring him is because of technical difficulties. Film got destroyed or something like that, and they had only the drummer cameras footage for this song to edit together.

  • Happy Gilmour day

  • Nick used mind control to move the high hat at 2:49 ...

  • @ronofontario No, he was only preparing for his orgasm @ 4:23 ;)

  • This is beautiful. I love Pink Floyd more than anything - they're one of those few rare gems that sound even better live than they do in the studio. -3

  • The all powerful butterfly shirt! Nick Mason is the man!

  • I showed thus to my friend Devan who's the drummer in our band and he freaked! He was like "WHOA! This is a beast track maybe Pink Floud is good" (He's a big alternative fan so this was a pleasant surprise...)

  • Awesome job remastering the video. Im totally freaking out.

  • interesantno je kako dešnjacima bubnjarima UVIJEK ispadne desna palica!!

  • Nick is FULL-ON

  • 27 No me gusta. They are Justin Bieliebers, they don't know anything about music.

  • Nick mason, your outfit was waaay too cool.

  • Epic perfomance.

  • 4.43 im so glad that happens to him too :)

  • Pure magic!

That really the only words that can describe it!

  • He Drops a stick at around 4:48 and does not miss a beat... :)

  • i just found this last night & my drummer friend & i were GLUED!

i was stunned at the incredible editing from slow-mo (3:28) into real action (@3:38)

GREAT work! thanks for sharing this incredible moment in music history!

    XoX

  • @FFDubstep Nark

  • 4:42 <3

  • i like nick masons shirt hahahha its legit

  • @FFDubstep i have been high on acid at least 20 times....and im 21. lol at youtube ignorancy fail.

  • Am I normal?? I Listen to this song 50. time and I still want to hear it again and again.....

  • @Aleksej79ns You are normal in fact very normal... I find it hard not to listen to this song 50 times over

  • 26 dislikes????

    Come on????

  • holy shit, he looks so fucked up on LSD

  • They definatley would have fried smiling.....

  • If they would of done this show on the opening day of this arena it would have made the attendees feel better about that volcano shit that went down later I suspect.

  • I'm lovin' Nicks playing just about as much as his shirt! <3 Mason all the way

  • I love how nick mason just starts to go crazy at the end :D

  • man he knows where those fuckin drums are haha

  • Amason Nick.

  • Esta es la música del siglo XX. Los Beatles son los juglares de la calle; Pink Floid, los profesionales capaces de componer sinfonías estructuradas.

  • @IPX68 El mejor comentario que jamas haya leido.

  • This song is insane I would have loved to be one of the ghosts in the audience. Meddle is probably my favourite pre-Dark Side album I seriously need to get Live at Pompeii

  • Thaaaaat BAAASSS!

  • @Mikonos89 Yeah that's some pretty cool sound I think Roger used this echo tube thing for that

  • Comment removed

  • chingon el tema !

  • Pomepei...one i no two i ;)

  • Oh my gosh, what year was this? I wish it was a little more focus on Gilmore, tho...but Excellent!

  • @chapmaned I wish they focused more on Roger lol

  • @theroach10 Fully agree...but this particular song was primarily a David Gilmore thing. Roger is not done yet...I just heard on the Radio yesterday that Roger Waters is coming soon to the Seattle area to do The Wall. I cant remember the details, but if you google Roger Waters and Concert and 2011, I sure you will find it. I saw Floyd without Roger Waters in 94 in Vancouver, Canada.

  • 3:33 on these days i´m going to cut you intolittle pieces.

  • man, i would give my third testicle to see them live again :\

  • is it just me or is there a terrible AV delay?!

  • No matter how many times I watch this, still is incredible!!!!!!

  • The drums in this is fucking sweet

  • My 3-yr old kid has more taste than the 25 people who voluntarily disliked this video.

  • <3 love them

  • these Nick Mason comments are geeking me out hahaha

  • Nick is probably one of the most underestimated dummers in the modern era, he fits perfectly into the PF idiom ! He can drum with me anytime !

  • No habia escuchado esto sin ruido extra , y al maximo volumen .... viaje....

  • Nick Mason proves he's one of the best drummers ever from this video

  • Nick Mason doesn't keep time with the metronome, the metronome keeps time with Nick Mason

  • @Kunzler3 Damn right!!! :)

  • 25 people listen to artificial drums

  • fuck this, i'm letting my hair grow long again!

  • So is the rest of the band..

  • you're all blind, Nick BROKE the stick at 04:43.

  • k buen tema

  • Why is the focus primarily on nick Manson?

  • @Joseph66678 i have the pompeii DVD and according to what they said, the shots of david gilmour playing the guitar, richard playing the keys and roger playing the bass were lost in the editing process so they decided to include the remaining shots, being only those of nick.

  • @Stratocaster777 now the only unanswered question is who did actually lose those film canisters...? (:

  • @Stratocaster777 Thanks for clearing that up, dude. I've always wondered why the camera-man had such a hard-on for wee Nick on this tune. I mean, because he wasn't exactly pulling up trees in this song....Dave and Roger were.

  • @Joseph66678 Because he's awesome.

  • Comment removed

  • @Joseph66678 because this is probably the only PF song where vocals are credited to Nick..

  • Good!!! What year is it??

  • @ZETAVEIA 1969

  • Epic!

  • From wild looking young man, to the meek and mild gentleman that he now is.

  • I love how they focus on mainly the drummer! It's so badass!!!

  • Good song

  • Excelente Nick y todos los de Pink Floyd. Excelentessss

  • 4:26 - I came.

  • What is this horrible music ..

  • @superjeremiah007 fuck of little bitch!!!!

  • @superjeremiah007

You obviously don't know what real music is!!!

  • @superjeremiah007 It's called rocknroll with a strong jazz influence.

  • At 1:45 nick messed up a fill. And at 4:43 or so losses a stick. These two fuck up make the song even better.

  • And it's Nick's processed vocal on this piece! :D

  • What? Is there seriously REAL MUSIC being featured on YouTube? I'm going to go outside and make sure the world isn't ending. . .

  • look his face at 1:47. even when he's not playing like he want, he's the best.

  • Wow, 4:43 to 4:46, felt a difference? Not really, he is the best

  • The greatest rock band ever.In an age where music is basically crap, these guys live on as absolute masters of instruments.Hell today you dont even have to be able to sing thanks to autotune.Which in my opinion makes a mockery of the work pioneers like these guys put in.Nothing can compare to a band of this calibre.SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMONDS

  • He didn't drop his stick. He thew it away. The damn thing caught fire. lol

  • @TishBracken I still wonder if he meant to lose the drum stick or not.

  • Oh here we go: this little dude states "lol he dropped his drum stick" what a moron. When you can play the drums or even hold a stick or even find your prick, then we will be lol.

  • What's with u people? One guy said " he threw away his drum stick and one just magically appeared, what a pro. " Has no one here Ever been a Drummer? What r u 6 years old?

  • Lol, 4:43, he dropped his right stick.

  • Better then a black rapper pretending to make music...a lot better.

  • Notice how everything is about "OLD" music nowadays ?

Because between '62 and '82 was the greatest 20 years EVER in music !!!

And you could probably refine it to 15 years...'64 to '79.

I'm just DAMN lucky to be right THERE... I'm 53. And I caught it all.

  • @TacomaPaul You're so right, '64 to '79 was the golden age of "modern" music!

  • @TacomaPaul I'm 15. I missed everything. My dad saved the LP's though.

  • Kids, this is real music

  • It's like he reloaded his hands with another drum stick to blow our minds

  • Greatest band ever

  • That for braindamaged drunk drugie fuckers

  • i liked the version form live at the bbc 1970-71 the best

  • I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy!

  • Awesome.

  • Man Lost his stick at 4:40, grabs another like nothing happened = pro

  • @Lemijat he BROKE IT, not lost :)

  • @ztcatchy He didnt break it, u clearly see it fall on the bass drum full in tact. perhaps he broke the tip, prolly an inch or 2, but the full sticks there to me.

  • @Lemijat he broke it - bit[.]ly/qybQ1K - first frame shows one half flying away, second frame shows half stayed in his hand.

  • @Lemijat Ah yes, the famous dropping of the stick.

  • @Lemijat like a boss!!!

  • @Lemijat like a boss

  • @Lemijat That's not just any man, that's Nick Mason.

  • One of my all time favorite drummers.

  • Amazing. Pleasantly surprised to see Nick Mason featured.

  • meh

  • Cool

  • NEXT FEATURE NEEDS TO BE RISE AGAINST

  • The shortes 5:45 minutes of my life

  • Pink Floyd is the greatest band ever.

  • these guys are legends.

  • Its a Nick Mason fest !!!

  • Just fucking beautiful.

  • That's how to rock!

  • epic.

  • Great but needs a SAX! Needs a SAX and it'd be perfect! YES!!

  • @SmellMyButtHole Hendrix? B.B. King? Sly And The Family Stone? Bob Marley?

  • I was surprised to see Pink Floyd in the spotlight.

  • MOAR COWBELLS

  • This camera just loves the drummer haha. I would love to see the guitarists and what they are doing with their pedals too, especially on an effect heavy song like this. Awesome video nonetheless!

  • @SmellMyButtHole it was actually the African Americans who invented rock so..really man?

  • @poopersooper123 not true...but nonetheless he's a racist bastard

  • @yohomeygsup well they did have something to do with it, so who did invent it anyway? ive been living a lie my whole life...

  • @poopersooper123 of course they had something to do with it...they basically invented music in itself, because jazz virtually transformed into rock n roll eventually...but the main thing african americans began as far as music was the songs that were sang in the fields while they worked...which was considered soul music, which later developed into jazz etc etc etc....you weren't wrong though entirely, if you get what i'm sayin. No racism intended by the way, just stating facts.

  • @yohomeygsup totally, thanks, its always nice to learn something new

  • @poopersooper123 haha, my pleasure =)
