  • The intro movies/flyers/other assorted stuff is pretty cool, but I hate to think how much drive space you're using...oh well ;)

  • could you let me know were you got the intro vid from???

  • i forgot - sorry... :(

  • dude, that mame intro movie is sooo awesome!!! i use Maximus Arcade, but GameEX is a cool frontend too.

    where did you get that mame intro movie? did you make it?

  • Thanks a lot! Thant must have been my problem: the spaces.

  • Yeah, thought so -I made a load of config files but didn't know the WinUAE command line to get them to run. I ended up missing them out in the end but I would like to get them working. Do you have an example command line to make the config file load with WinUAE by any chance? Thanks. Keep up the good work!!

  • commandline:

    WinUAE.exe -f [RomFile]

    and also:

    WaitBeforeKeys=3000

    make sure that your configfiles (.uae) don't have spaces within the filename!!!

    have fun! and keep the spirit alive ;)

  • Hi, just been told you can add a savestate to the configfile that starts from the command line with -cfgparam statefile=(path to .uss) This enables 2disk games, such as 'Alien Breed' to be played from a front end if you save-state after the disk-swap. Hope this makes sense. See ya.

  • Brilliant menu - like the video clips for each game. How does the Amiga emulator (is it Win UAE?) run from the frontend? Do the amiga games start automatically? I couldn't get them to run from a frontend :(

  • its winuae.yeah that is a problem indeed... you have to do a configfile for each game and start that configfile with the frontend. very complicated. or you get the kailera hdd image. there you have 50 or so games in one file with extra menu.

  • Nice work! gameex i dig that program so much! you have tweaked it so well, good to see game movies in list!
