  • hes a real pathetic bastard, what do ya do with knobs like him youtube gives him a forum for his bitterness

  • @Barcel2000 You're right. he's mouthing off on a Martin Clarke video now.

  • Ciaran Mc Donald what a player he was UP MAYO............

  • GET A GRIP PEOPLE we're talking about men kicking or hurling a leather ball around on some grass here in order to keep fit and maybe entertain other men who dont have the ability to do it any more.....nothing to do with paramilitary organisations or ecumenical theological debates.ha ha ha

  • Why all this Protestant and Catholic talk every time someone mentions Gaelic or Hurlin. The Irish people should be proud that they have these two unique games . It is only recently that I learned that these two games existed. It a pity that their is so much political and religious baggage attached to the GAA. The GAA should open up all it facilities to other sports that are in need and also allow members of the Protestant community to get involved.

  • @hillbrowjhb the gaa prides itself in takeing no side in politics it was an escape for people in the war of independence etc and people on either side of the war representd there countys as one its been this way from the start and as far as opening up grounds why shud they accomodate the sports with which dey compete for players with? croke park is 1 thing but if it was the same in every comunity the gaa wud be slowly pushd out of wat dey built from the ground up

  • as an outsider, from new york, this is probaly the best sport in the world. I got into it because I went to a bar at 8am to watch some euro football and i was wearing a polo shirt with the same colors of one of the irish football club's playing on one of the screens. A group of people took me to their side, i was "one of them" for two hours, of the pub to the watch as they won the match and the place went crazy. Every tuesday at this pub in the city its is gaa football day.... sorry drunk

  • @HalfpennyCat mate you should see Australian Football. its similar to GAA and you might even like it better ;)

  • @HalfpennyCat

you should definately come to ireland and go to a big match

    u will love it! :)

  • Gealic is the best sport in the world its about where ur from and every village in ireland has a gealic team

  • you must have went to a catholic controlled school then to make a statement like that.lol my guess is you never went at all and by the way you haven't stated one fact yet, I've looked at your comments. Complete drivle. Sad sad little boy. Complete keyboard warrior

  • finally i shut that stupid cunt up... its a pity i had to drop down to his level to do it.... any one can shout random insults, what a fuckin idiot.

  • haha hes back ... hope you told your mammy... dirty bitch, for a fact to be true, there needs to be evidence. I know stupid cunts like yourself wont understand that... so continue on with your shit talk... oh ye, when are you going to name them GAA clubs by the way?? fuckin idiot.

  • down to the level of you, you inbred fuck.. you talk some crap, you haven't backed up one statement you made. 80,000 people watch games in croke park week in week out...what do you do...sell drugs is my guess, part of the reason yous didn't want peace...you can spout all the crap you want but have made one factual statement.........loooooooser haha

  • You keep believing that the GAA, or anyone for that matter, were capable of creating 2 completely new sports and making them more popular than Soccer and rugby in only a matter of years. By your logic the GAA was able to "create" hurling and football and draw 100,000 to all ireland finals within 5 years. Thats some achievement. You are so mind numbingly stupid its amazing. I wish i was reading this for the first time so i could laugh at your stupidity.

  • you stupid ignorant cunt.. how many videos do you have to post the same comment on to get the point that your talking absolute bollox. Most ppl reading that will know straight away what a complete eejit you are.

  • neilhosey The truth hurts , but there is no point in shooting ,the messenger .

  • its true you talk the biggest amount of shit ever... but i just dont understand your motives?? what a sad sad little fucker you must be to spend so much time commenting on youtube videos of a sport you hate? you sad piece of shit.. id love to say get a life, but theres no point, youll always be that way you ignorant know-it-all bastard..

  • you just rattle off the same lines day in day out.. your a fucking loser... i actually cant believe your still at it? do you get a boner or something gettin a rise out of irish ppl? haha seriously get a girl/boyfriend you fuckin SAD LOSER!

  • neilhosey What bogball team do you play for, do you still go to IRA Terror camps at weekend s , under the guise of going away to play a bogball match. Is all the paddies in your bogball team committed to the IRA like you.

  • yes i do.. i also still fuck your mother, not as flexible as she used to be though.. tell her to get into yoga or something, or she wont be getting that 5 euro off me... tell her i will be over to see her when i need a cheap slut to ride

  • Bap, before you go spouting noncence about the IRA being 'undeniably' linked with the GAA, maybe you should also consider the fact that they are some of the oldest sports in the world which existed before the IRA even existed. Also in the early 20th century people who played it were violently oppressed by the black and tans. The GAA is a gem of Irish culture which uncultured fools like yourself have no appreciation or knowledge of. Stick with your corrupt, money-driven zzzoccer!

  • @tvontheradio89 yeee boy, i absolutely agree with you

  • @bapfontein Christ, do you ever do anything apart from spout this shite? A year later you're still at it - no matter how much evidence you're presented with. There's none so blind....

  • tex I been following the post between your self and Bfontein , dont take this the wrong way , as I also think he a shit stirrer, but the guy is just to clever for you. He has proven his point beyond doubt, as i also checked out the information he gave you and it is all fact. The guys he named that you said did not exist is a fact, and the tournament is named in their hounor for the sacrifice they made to free Ireland , their llittlte point in denying the facts. best bet is to ignore him

  • hillbrow So I am a shit for daring to point out facts, what would you rather I did not disclose the link between the GAA and the Terriost IRA. I will ask you one question, would you join any sporting body , or any club no matter what it activity , if it was named after someone prepoared to kill and slaughter for political ends ? Dont evade my questions like that other prat , just answer it.

  • Haha thats funny. Its also funny that you posted your comments within minutes of bapfontein. Wouldnt surprise me if you are the same person...

  • Gaelic football is the best sport in the world

  • irasemtex Keep watching the Beautiful game , you are just like all the other thick Paddies who will never miss a match on the TV. You just secretly love the game and wish in your hearts that the Irish instead of comeing up with the most god damm awful games on the planet , (BOGBALL, and STICKFIGHTING , mixed up in politics and terrorism, ) that if only the Catholics bigots had some sense and stuck with FOOTBALL , who knows , maybe up their with Brazil, instead of struggling at the bottom .

  • @bapfontein oh you mean the game where fans riot outside stadiums, rip apart cities, stab opposing team's fans, where the players dive and fake injury, where the scoreline is more often than not 0-0, where players whine & whinge to get their way , & where cheating is common between handballs & match fixing. Hurling & football is an ametuer sport where players play purely for pride of their parish & county & not for money. One wonders why an anti-GAA man is watching GAA vids!!

  • @BrianG831 but why is it called GAY lic football....HAHAHA

  • @pompei1968 well most people just call it football or GAH! but if you must know GAELIC means Irish or celtic. Basically its the same way as you say American football and all that. And what age are you laughing at the word gay please tell me?

  • @houlhersteady The only lot i know who call it BOGBALL is lads from D4. Gaelic football's played in loads of places across the world mainly due to us Irish invading nearly every country in the world through Immigration.

When i was in the UK i was part of 2 GAA teams, their were 12 alone in London, and we played teams all across Britain in liverpool, birmingham etc.

You got one point tho, the GAA is run by a shower of bastards

  • @houlhersteady Ah sorry i'll fetch my book of world GAA players next time. At my team in London - we had 2 Jamaicans in the front forward line as well as Italians scattered all over the team.

I understand where your coming from in that GAA isn't as well recognised around the world from other countries nationals - not Irish ex-pats in other countries - But considering its only the national sport of ireland, with a pop. of 3Mil - it hasnt got bad publicity for its supposed potential size.

  • @dadubs93 no way!!its only played in ireland

  • @losers638 The game of BOGBALL is only played in Ireland in a organised way, but it also is played in several countries by Irish migrants and imigrants. In N York several Irish social clubs have formed GAA clubs to play BOGABALL and Stickfighting in community parks were they rent the pitches from the local councils etc. The GAA has no real presence similar to the global games of Football and Rugby outside of Ireland.

  • @houlhersteady us irish dont want culturaly retarded people like YOU to play our sports. its called gaelic football and hurling, u faggot. firstly 2 play our sport you would have to be fit and not a fat cunt who sits on their computer all day and just trolls. these are our main sports and yet we can still beat bigger countries that have much bigger budgets at other sports. are u american?? if so that would explain your lack of knowledge when it comes to sports and exercise.

  • @BrianG831 You forgot about the fucking of each other's girlfriends and/or hookers, or when they say things like 'It's not about money, it's about ambition' (the ambition in question being to earn £180,000 a week)

And, of course, you forgot about death threats being issued to the North's best player just for the sin of being from the 'wrong' community....

  • Used to think Maurice Fitzgerald was the most gifted player of the past 20 years- beginning to revise my opinion to McDonald now the more I see of the legends skills.

  • thats just slicing the ball if im not mistaken

  • Yo BAPFONTEIN Gaelic football is one of the world's oldest games. It is one of the most played games in Ireland and is commonly played in other countries. One of the first records of football in Ireland comes from 1308, In 1527 football was allowed but 'hokie' the hurling of a little ball with sticks was banned. Hurling another of Irelands most famous sports is one of the most skillful and fastest and in the world and the sport of which hockey derived from.

  • The swerve kick, what a load of old tosh as if the Bogballer kicking the ball had any say what so ever where the ball went when he kicked it. Bogball "aka " Paddyball is a contrived game that has elements of just about every proper game,on the planet mixed up in it .. Only the Irish could come up with such a shite game. If ever proof was needed that its is a load of crap , then ask yourself , why no other nation on the planet would touch it with a shitty forty foot pole.

  • this little shithead talking shite again.. what a sad sad little fucker you are? Do you not have anything better to do? Posting shit like that on here wont make your dick any bigger.

  • Are you trying to say soccer is better? A game which one team can completely dominate and still end up losing because of its pathetic scoring system. How many times have we watched teams play for draws in soccer, making the most uninteresting sporting spectacle you can imagine. Even matches between top teams are dull.

Soccer is a sport devoid of excitement and every country in the world that has another major sport ie. Ireland, Australia, USA,Canada, India, etc does not rate soccer.

  • Are you for real, comeing out with utter nonsense that Bogball is in some way superior to Football. You need to get out a little more. Football is the only true global game, and is the fastest growing game in China, Australia, USA, and most of s east Asia. Bogball in comparison is a contrived game only played by big thick ginger haired Irish Catholic farmers and Hillbillies. If it so great as you say then why does no other nation on the planet play it. You know the answer, IT SHITE.

  • Because we are a tiny country you incomprehensible retard. They always say soccer is going to be huge in the US in a few years and it never will be. They dont give a shit about it and never will. Do you really think if a US kid has a choice between soccer and NFL he will choose the field fairy game? You're deluded if you think they will.

  • Football will never be huge in America, what utter nonsense. Football was never heard of 25 years ago in any American College , School or University, and today it is now one of the most popular sports played by young Americans. America is only one of two countries in the world that has full time women's professional Football . And your nonsense theory that BOGBALL is not a global game like Football is because Ireland is such a small place . Where the hell did you dig up that crap from.

  • where did i dig that up from? Its a little thing called logic. Gaelic football originated on these shores, a country with little to no influence on the world with a tiny population and a tiny media. How are we supposed to tell the world about it? Conquer a few countries like the Brits did and bring it there? Pffft, logic isnt your thing, is it?

  • The Irish for a century or more settled in their millions in most western countries , USA, Australia, Britian, N. Zealand etc , and even thought they brought their Bogball game with then , and started Bogball clubs in the host countries ,no one other than the Irish ever took the games up , WHY?. Football got to these same countries by the same method, and he presto , the natives took Football and made it their own. Why?. Football is now the fastest growing game in China, WHY?.

  • And what do you mean they hadnt heard of soccer in america 25 years ago? Pele was playing there in the 70s! He failed more than Beckham did at making it popular. Soccer has been the most popular sport with children in the US since the early 90s. They view it as a past time and dont take it seriously. Just look at how badly the MLS does and you will see thatn no body apart from a few(poor, as usual) mexicans give a shit about it.

  • You know exacatly what I mean by not known 25 years ago.. It was in its infancy and Pele , Best, Marsh, etc were brought into promote it. It did well for a few years , then went to sleep for many years , but has made a huge resurgence amongst the young white college students and Hispanic community.. For someone who appears to have a hatred of the Beautiful game , you apear to be very knowlregle about it. America in the last two Football World Cups, finished way beyond all expectations,

  • Thats because they know nothing about it and had been led to believe the USA had a chance. I was in the states during the 2006 world cup in Boston which is a city where soccer is slightly more popular and believe me, no one gave a shit about it. Most americans i knew were my age and they didnt even know the WC final was on when i asked was anyone watchin it. And i dont hate soccer at all i just see it for what it is

Now, name some rich/multi sport countries where soccer is no.1 in popularity.

  • I cannot work out the logic of your theory that Football is only popular in poor countries. what are you trying to prove by that.

  • Hell you got a thing about poor people. When Bogball was first made up to counteract the growing popularity of Football in Ireland , was it not mainly the poor who played it. After all their was no Celtic tiger then and the Irish were as poor as Church mice.

  • Gaelic football was arounf long before then, it was just codified back then. Im making a point which you cannot counter.

Name some countries where being able to afford to play the sport isnt the deciding factor in why it is popular. Or name a country where there are multiple sports where soccer is the most popular sport like New Zealand! Oh wait...they dont care about it either.

  • The answer to your question is quite simple, people only play the sport they are interested in. I do not know of anyone in my lifetime , who decided to play a particular sport , either because they had money or no money. Would you dedicate your life to playing a sport you disliked . Football whether you like it or not is growing at a alarming rate in China, Australia, were Rugby League is No , Football is catching up on it and Union. America as the Hispanic population grows so will Football..

  • So more affluent people play sports they dont enjoy do they? Soccer is the most simple game you can think of. That is why it is popular in poor and disadvanteged areas and that is why it is the worlds most played sport. Its easy to play and uncomplicated. The pattern of soccer being played primarily by poor people is repeated the world over. Its a cretins game.

Football is nowhere close to Rugby league, union or AFL in Australia and it never will be.

  • You go to America and tell me MLS is even close to being a mainstream sport. Its still less watched than the NHL for gods sake and nobody cares about hockey in America anymore.

Where is soccer most popular in Ireland? Dublins north inner city. Where is the most disadvanteged area in Ireland? Dublins north inner city. Where they have no facilities to play anything else they end up playing soccer and thats why its popular. Its a poor mans game and boring as fuck to boot.

  • You have certainly got it in for the poor man, he gets blamed for all the worlds ills, now you have come up with a new burden for him shoulder , (not that he will mind) now he is responsible for Football aka The Beautiful Game, being the most popular sport on the planet and spreading like wild fire in countries that never had a history of Football before. Bogball aka Paddyball Puke Ball , is mainly a contrived game , played by Terriost loving big thick drunken and very violent Paddies.

  • Im just stating a fact that the only reason soccer is popular is because there are so many poor people in the world. If they were educated and exposed to other sports they, like most other people, would play something else. This is all fact my friend and the sooner you come to realise that only the poor/stupid people in the world care about soccer then we will all be better off.

Only thick, drunken, violent idiots play GAA? Two words for you: Joey Barton.

  • whos Joey Barton.?.

  • who's joey barton? Haha are you that ashamed of your professional players that you would rather pretend you dont know them than try defending him? If you really dont know who he is, which i find hard to believe, try googliing him to see a prime example of why soccer players are degenerates.

We can talk about hooligans and "firms" too if you like. Soccer: a game so boring that the fans had to start rioting to enjoy themselves...

  • For someone who hates FOOTBALL so much , man you spend a hell of at time reading up on it. I noticed that no post from you durning last night Football match between Inter Milan V Man Utd. Just like all the other Hypocritical GAA Bogball supporters , probally glued to the TV watching the game and cheering just like everyone else. What did you think of the match?. Dont you wish that BOGBALL and Stickfighting , could one day in the future (45 century) could be like the Beautiful game.

  • I watched parts of the match alright just like i watch basically all sport that is on tv. Yeah, i definitely wish that Football and Hurling could play out scoreless draws where the only chances of scoring came from mistakes.

IT WAS A SCORELESS DRAW! What a pathetic sport. No scorers, zero, zilch! No one achieved the very essence of sport and that is for one team to win.

  • Actually that just reminds me. Can you name any GAA players who have been accused of rape in the last few years? I can name plenty of premiership footballers. How about one of them who was caught with a 58year old hooker ala Wayne Rooney?

Most GAA players in interviews actually come accross as if they have received an education whereas soccer players can barely talk and when they do you really wish they hadnt bothered.

  • No I cannot name of hand any BOGBALLERS who has been accused of rape,, but if allowed to , I could name hundreds of GAA Bogballers who have served time in prison for committing acts of Terrorism in N. Ireland during the recent troubles. As for Wayne Rooney, having a fling with a 58 year old , since when has that become illegal.

  • Go on then, name 1 "bogballer" who has served time in prison for terrorism. The only games in the north where there is still problems with sectarianism is soccer. Catholics still cant go to Windsor park to watch Northern Ireland games because of bigotry while there are loads of protestants that represent their county in GAA. Norn Iron soccer is riddled with sectarianism while the GAA is not.

Face it, soccer is a game played and supported by the dregs of society and all the evidence proves it

  • As I have pointed out to you and you know probally quite well that it is impossible for me to name names due to legal constraints. In fact google some of the Bogball GAA clubs , particulary in N. Ireland , and you will find many clubs have named their grounds , teams, trophies , competitions etc after Catholic Nationalists Terriost. Ii think I am wasting my time pointing this fact out to you as you already are aware of this. Are you for real Protestants involved with the CATHOLIC GAA/IRA, .

  • Most sports and games can be played to a draw. Are you saying BOGBALL cannot be played to a draw.? You have condemned the Beautiful game in every one of your post, and came up with some of the biggest load of nonsense about it only being popular among poor stupid people. You have gone over the top with absolute rubbish putting the most popular game on the planet down, yet you spent last night watching a game of FOOTTBALL , you are the biggest hypocrite I have ever come across in my life.

  • Look at you getting all worked up about me condemning "the beautiful game" when you are the one who cam eon here trolling about the GAA. Dont dish it out if you cant take it.

Are you trying to tell me there is something "beautiful" about games between Newcastle and Middlesbrough. 99% of games are hatchet men kicking the ball as long as they can and hoping one of the strikers can do something with it.

  • Its impossible for you to name names because you are an idiot. There are no legal constraints where someone has been convicted of a crime. And even if there were, this is youtube! You can say whatever you like and nothing will ever happen.

Sam Maguire, who the Football trophy is named after was a protestant.

Jack Boothman who was president of the GAA between 1995-97 was a protestant. Half of the 1994 winning Down football team were protestants.

  • irasemtex You have called me a idiot for not providing you with evidence that the GAA names Clubs , grounds, trophies and competitions etc after Irish Catholic GAA Terriost members. You cannot live on the island of Ireland and not be aware of the controversy of the many high profile GAA clubs particulary in N. Ireland who have been condemed for such practices. For a start I will name three well known GAA/IRA terriost front S. Derry , who blew themselves up while attempting to plant p1

  • A bomb in the small market town of Magherafelt during the recent troubles. Their names were Bateson , Sheridan and Lee. The local GAA/IRA clubs have since their deaths have held a annual Bogball tournament , and named the trophy and tournament after the terriost. This is only one example of many, of the close links between the GAA and violent Irish Catholic Terror groups. As regards Boothman McGuire, that a hell of a achievement two wayward Protestants in over a century have been GAA Members.

  • Considering 90% of the Irish population is Catholic and 95% of GAA members are Catholic i think it is about representative of their numbers to be honest.

Anyway what is your point? The clubs that are most connected with sectarianism in Northern Ireland are Rangers and Celtic and last i checked they were both soccer clubs...If someone was trying to pin the blame for the troubles on GAA clubs or Celtic/Rangers it would show a deep lack of understanding on that persons behalf.

  • I am in no way trying to blame the troubles in N. Ireland on the GAA. I am only pointing out the fact that the GAA is intricately linked to violent Irish Catholic Terror group s , particulary the IRA. Hence the well know phrase "The GAA is the IRA at play.". As for 95% of the GAA members being Catholic, one thing is for sure that the other five percent must be made up of Atheist, Muslims , Jews , Hindus etc, as one thing is certain there is no self respecting Protestants.

  • You see the difference here is that you are talking shite and i am talking facts. Yes, the GAA is predominantly catholic since it is one of the major symbols of Irish culture and yes there probably are plenty of idiots in it who hate protestants.

But the fact is that there are plenty of protestants who play GAA. There are two on my team and no one could give a shit what religion they were.

  • irasentex What facts I have pointed out as regards the GAA /IRA are you unhappy with?.

  • None, because you havent mentioned any facts. You are just spewing a load of anti-irish, anti-GAA rhetoric.

  • I have given you facts, suddenly (confronted with the facts like a large number of GAA clubs are named after dead IRISH CATHOLIC NATIONALIST TERRIOST , also they name grounds , clubrooms, trophies , tournaments , events etc after Terriost also ) you are very silent.. The GAA even you have have admitted is part and parcel of Irish Catholic culture. It is also the only association in the world that mixes sport with politics. It is also the only sporting body ever to endorse Terrorism.

  • Name one GAA cub who is named after a terrorist. Just name one and maybe i will give your argument some credit. If you start listing pre-troubles people/clubs like Wolfe Tones your argument will lose all credibility since they were not ever considered terrorists. They were all considered nationalists fighting for the freedom of their country.

If there is a club out theree named after a Real IRA/continuity IRA member by all means tell me that club.

    You are so stupid...

  • Why do you get so upset when all I am doing is pointing out facts. You asked for one GAA club named after a convicted Catholic Nationalist Terriost. I suppose when I name the club and Terriost , you will try and deny in some way or another that he was a terriost , Catholic etc etc. You will never accept the truth no matter what , so their is no point in giveing names etc. You are in denial .

  • No you havent pointed out any facts. You named three lads with English surnames and a town in northern Ireland which doesnt even mention ever being bombed on its wikipedia page. It was obviously devastating. Great fact.

Now, please name some clubs named after convicted terrorists. It would be pretty hard for me to deny it if its there in writing for my own two eyes to see.

  • iras I think their is little point in debating any further with you. The three Catholic Irish terrorist that I I named and the crime they committed is fact , not fiction. The fact that they have English surnames is neither here nor there. I gave you factual information and you just " as expected " try and rubbish it. So What the point of providing you with any more. As regards Bateson , Sheridan and Lee, just check out the iRISH TERRORISTS website and you will find their names.

  • You said you would show me how the IRA and the GAA were connected and you did nothing of the sort. You mentioned 3 random names, a small town in northern ireland which by all accounts escaped very lightly in the troubles and some crap about them naming a trophy after them with absolutely no proof. Thats not an debate.

Now you said you can name many clubs named after terrorists so why dont you just do it? You havent even named one.

  • Why are you pretending to be so silly, I gave you the names of three IRISH CATHOLIC TERRIOST , "Bateson, Sheridan and Lee , who blew themselves up whilst in the process of priming a large Car Bomb which was to be used in a no warning attack on the market town of Magherafelt. Google their names plus Magherafelt , you will get loads of information about them and their deaths. To this very day the local GAA Clubs hold a annual tournament in their hounor .GOOGLE , GOOGLE GOOGLE GOOGLE

  • terrorists or irish patriots, countless places are named after george washington in the us , bitch slapped the british scum just like the irish did, i dont see you complaining about americans honouring the people who fought for their freedom against the hated british..

  • ira samsemtex Now I Have provided clear and concise evidence for you, of the close link between the IRA and the GAA , YOU HAVE BECOME QUITE SILENT. For the record , during the IRA terror campaign in the recent troubles , many GAA clubs were unable to field their best senior Bogballers as so many were in prison either on remand as terror suspects or serving time for horrfic terror crimes.

  • No you havent provided clear and concise eveidence. You think the Derry intermediate championship is played in honour of 3 men. That says it all about your knowledge of the GAA....

And you think that soccer teams up north didnt have members of the UVF, UFF? Give over. You are an imbecile. Neil Lennon received death threats for joining Celtic. All sectors of society in NI have been affected by the troubles.

    You're a cretin.

  • I never said that the Derry Intermediate championship is played in honor of three Terrorist. I said that a annual Bogball tournament was held in their honor in S. Derry , but did not name the competition. But thanks to checking out (GOOGLE) Batteson , Sheridan and Lee, it is you who has come up with the Derry Intermediate championship , played in their hounor annually , and you are 100% correct. We are getting somewhere now , fist you said I was a liar , and made up the trio name, p1

  • p2 BATESON , Sheridan and LEE , you even said they were ENGLISH names . Now I have proved they existed and were terriost , you are still trying to deny any competition is played annually in their hounor, you have even found out for yourself the name of the competition. Are you still in denial or just simply pig headed that a GAA competition , which even the GAA admits is played in their hounor . Take a little advice , (when in a deep hole, stop digging).

  • Oh lord you are a funny man. The trophy which is awarded for the Derry football championship is named after them as they were members . It is not played in their honour. Also, you are trying to get into politics here which you clearly dont understand. People like them were widely supported on the nationalist side back then as they felt they had a genuine cause. One man's freedom fighter and all that...

  • I have proved to you, beyond a shadow of a doubt that the GAA names clubs, trophies , competitions , events etc after dead Catholic Irish Nationalist Terriost. You as a IRA terriost supporter know I have cornered you like the rat you are. Now you childish like a spoilt school kid still deny the facts. The fact is that the GAA named the competition after them because they did their bit to free oul Ireland, plain and simple. Now in your heart you know perfectly well that I have proved p1

  • p2 my point. Now you ask me to name one GAA club , named after a dead CATHOLIC NATIONALIST TERRIOST. What the point , as you have already decided that , that it does no matter how or what links or evidence that I have proven , between the GAA/IRA you just deny the facts.

  • You also said you can name many GAA teams who are named after terrorists. You have so far named zero.

Ill repost my last question for you: If there is a club out theree named after a Real IRA/continuity IRA member by all means tell me that club.

  • You ask me are their any GAA clubs ,named after Real IRA ,continuity IRA, and ask me to name the club. No their is no clubs named after either IRA group you named , simply because these groups have little or no support as you well know and only have a tiny support base. Also the two factions you mentioned were only formed after the end of the troubles, and as far as I am aware , have no high profile death in their ranks so far. Not much point calling a event etc after a live Terriost.

  • Alright, then name a GAA club named after a member of the provisional IRA. It should be pretty easy since there are so many of them.

Calling me an IRA supporter is pretty laughable considering i think the North of Ireland and all of its inhabitants both Catholic and protestant should be cut off and let drift into the North Atlantic.

  • semtex you are a glutton for punishment, you ask me to name one club called after a CATHOLIC IRISH TERRIOST , and as soon as I name the club ,your back posting all sorts of childish denials and acusations., so why should I name any club.

  • You are clearly a complete spa. You still havent named a club. I havent denied anything, I've just called you out on your bullshit.

If you think your spelling is the only thing wrong with your postings i worry for the state of the english education system.

  • IRASEMTEX You are not concerned about who or what I name , you have the brains and mind of a five year old. You have a strange mindset , and deny everything that does not fit in with your childish way of thinking. You asked me to name one GAA/IRA club named after a dead CATHOLIC IRISH TERROIST, again i repeat what the point , even if I COULD NAME 100 you go into denial. End of debate. By the way how my spelling this time?.

  • The point is that you claimed you could name many GAA clubs who are named after terrorists. Many being more than one. One being more than zero. Zero being the amount you have named.

    'Tard.

  • IRASEM You asked me to name one , now you have twisted it to mean many, many is a vague term and is open to personal interpretation, to one person it could mean 10 .another 100, to another 1000. I never ever said there was many clubs called after IRA terrorist. I have not named one GAA club named after a dead IRISH CATHOLIC TERRORIST and already you are changing the goalpost, in case I do. But that been your ploy all along , demand I provide evidence , then when produced , go into denial.

  • No i still asked you to name one. You said many. I quote you:

"In fact google some of the Bogball GAA clubs , particulary in N. Ireland , and you will find many clubs have named their grounds , teams, trophies , competitions etc after Catholic Nationalists Terriost."

    Again...'tard. This is fun.
