Secret of Mana's boss music is definately a good one. Not many boss musics make you really feel like you're danger. But when you hear this music you know "oh it's on!"

Oh, yeah! I loved the Super Castlevania IV boss music. That music tends to sound menacing. I liked the drums and the violins. I liked the boss music for Turok II: Seeds of Evil although I did not think that I had played the game before. The sense of threat is in the music. I liked it.

Damn, the beginning of the Secret of Mana's song is so INTENSE many breaks in the song, very fast paced. Although I don't like how it's slows down the pace and kind of gets calm. I like the intensity of the start

nah, it has some equal tones but this part (2:00-2:27) is just a modified version of the terranigma intro and it is epic to battle the boss with that music ;)

Not just the European one; our box has that art on it, too (it would be N. American version). I personally liked one of the other boss themes (the one that sounded like it had a bunch of low, primal chanting) a bit more, but at least this awesome game's on the list. Terranigma, too? Sweet! And Secret of Mana... *drools* I personally ripped that game's entire soundtrack, short jingles and all, from the rom and converted it to mp3 for my iPod. So much awesomeness! This tune especially.

9# terranigma is and will always be my favorite boss music. at the beginning its really stressful and tense, even a bit disturbing just as you would expect ark to feel in his situation. and then suddenly it turns into a positive and encouraging melody that gives you strength and confidence. couldnt think of a better theme for your final battle.

It didn't come out in the US, so you'll have to emulate it or get a different region of SNES, and so far the only Cartridges of Terranigma I've seen have been Australian.

Super Nintendo, though it was never released in the US, mainly due to the game coming out late in the life cycle of the SNES and Enix USA having closed down already (which is why Dragon Quest V and VI didn't make it to the US, either). And Nintendo of America probably didn't pick it up because of the heavy religious themes in the game. However, it was released in Germany (the version I have), Australia, Great Britain, Spain and France, if I am not mistaken.
