Instead of TAPE...apply VASELINE around the finger nail...that stops the polish sticking to your FINGER....

hey everyone... instead of tape you can rub lotion or vaseline on you finger... the nail polish doesn't stick to the surface when its all slippery!!!! much easier that way but of coarse what ever is easier for you :)

She used china glaze. And no you dont have to paint your nails. She only painted them when she was doing just one finger. So that they kind of have the same base colour

yes vaseline is the best tho its so thick so it wont stick muc more easier and your not all retarded becasue you cant bend your fingers

If you put vaseline or a lotion all around your nail you dont need tape! you can just wipe it off with a tissue becuase the nail polish doesnt stick to it so you dont waste tape or nail polish remover! love you and all your videos!!!

I.tried it with metallic and it works but you have to put down a regular color first and then the metallic before you spread, it worked fine :)

hey guys i tried this with about 12 nail polishes and only 2 worked perfectly (so i used those). make sure the nailpolish spread like watercolor and it will work well. the OPI nail polish i used was actually so heavy/dense it sank to the bottom of the cup!! im going to walgreens now to buy all the colors i want and im taking a water bottle to test them out before i buy them. if they spread really fast when they touch the water, then you're good to go! metallics wont work, too thick!

I've done this before and absolutely love it! It takes some practise tho, and a word of advice: if your nail polish doesn't spread thin, scrap it and try again cuz it will go on to your nail like a big drop of polish and never dry!

And another suggestion... instead of using tape to keep the rest of your finger clean, use a cotton swab to apply vaseline around your nail and on your finger before you dip it. The nail polish doesn't stick to it so you can easily wipe it off!!

I'm a 16 year old Girl form Germany. i have to say it was a little bit hard for me to mask off my nails,my nails aren't so long as yours so it was a little bit difficult aaaand my first try was with red nailpolish.. one word :DISASTER. But after a few minutes it went very well. My Tipp for other People:

1.Use a plastic glove for the other hand, when you don't used to do somenthing like that 2.don't use red nailpolish for the first try.

Ich hab den von Catrice benutzt da gings bei mir irgendwie auf nicht.. dann hab ich den von Manhatten genommen, der war gut , also der hat sich ziemlich schnell verbreitet und ist nicht so schnell trocken geworden. :)

meinen ersten Versuch hab ich ja mit dem roten naggelack von Catrice gestratetn, aber ich glaub Naggellacke von Catrice sind nicht so gut um das zu machen ^^

hey AndreasChoice i have a little tip that helps me alot when i do this. Rub vasiline around ur finger so when your taking the nail polish off from around ur finger it comes off soooo easy. it jus sides right off. :) hope u read this and it helps. :)

I have a much better way to do this. Just stick one coat of polish on a finger, and while its still wet, put on another and swirl it (it might take a few tries).

Or you can also put some Vaseline around your nail so that it would be easier to remove the nail polish on your skin. This way, it'll save you a lot more time.
