You can get that car into the 12's stock. Don't get flowmaster anything, they suck. Get some long tube headers, X pipe, and borla stingers. Then get it tuned. It will feel like a totally different car.

depends what altitute you're in, but stock ls1 corvettes can hit 12's with regular street tires, so yeah, but flowmasters may sound good but they're the worst flowing exhaust you can buy, which means less horsepower

supradave that is called a swingout. The side bar is on a hinge and swings back in. Then it locks with a bolt. Vividblondes, It is a TH400 which is a 3 speed auto. They were after the world record for the fastest IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) corvette in the world. I think it ran an 8.654 at 164mph in the quarter. This thing has no Overdrive so he probably doesn't want to cruise at over 55mph. Good ole' 3 speed lol

Yeah, But if you go to the right 76 or Shell Station you can get 104 Octane Race gas right from the pump. Theres a few places in CA that sell that, unfortunately you have to live in a city with a race track near by or in a densely populated area like LA.
