  • Silly american sikh baba....jattanwa is not needed in this modern world in workplace or general living.

It is a personal choice. One can still be a devout sikh without jattanwa.

  • Sikhs beleive hair is a gift from GOD ( Fact ) thats why we dont cut it. Other creachers of God when their souls leave their body their hair stops growing, Humans on the other hand hair keeps growing thats why we say it is a gift from GOD, Further the High Court of India has passed a LAW KEEPING OF HAIR is parramount to claim Sikhism, even plucking an eyebrow is is not accepted. The most important thing to a SIKH is the TRUTH even Higher is TRUTHFULL LIVING also the PROTECTION OF THE TRUTH

  • If your saying cutting your hair is OK acording to SGGS and Dasam Granth, Why did Guru Gobind make amrit and the 5 k's. Time has changed, But god hasn't. people that think cutting your hair is right you are calling guru Gobind wrong

  • Also, I have a big problem with all em Jathedars and ppl like u....why do u try and turn sikhi into the 'hair religion'?? The sikhi mentioned in Guru Granth Sahib is sooo much different and enlightening..!! We treat the book as an IDOL....we go to gurudwara to idol worship the book...does anybody go to a gurudwara to listen to the bani...NO!!! Casteism, racism and discrimination are in the blood of sikh ppl..!! Bcoz while u encourage them to keep long hair, u dnt encourage them to read SGGS

  • @kanthasingh54 dere r flaws everywhr my frend bt u cnt hold up to a reason nd keep on cryin... u mst ve read SGGS coz u felt like... or a kinda pulll in u read what s written in d same and i guess all encourage to do path, if am nt wrng...

  • 'energy flow in the body'?? 'why they grow in the direction they grow'......?? well they have a purpose....thts y theyre there...but plz dnt use bad logic to explain it!! Guru Granth Sahib says:

'Kabīr parīṯ ik si▫o kī▫e ān ḏubiḏẖā jā▫e.

Kabeer, when you are in love with the One Lord, duality and alienation depart.

Bẖāvai lāʼnbe kes kar bẖāvai gẖarar mudā▫e. ||25||

You may have long hair, or you may shave your head bald. ||25|| '

    (Ang 1365)

Plz follow Guru Granth Sahib, our present Guru!

  • @kanthasingh54 Can you please ellaborate what is your point? I wish to understand your point of reference clearly...

  • @royalprince01

'Kabeer, when you are in love with the One Lord, duality and alienation depart,

You may have long hair, or you may shave your head bald.' (Ang 1365)

According to Guru Granth Sahib, your love for the one lord is what matters.....the length of ur hair, long (hindu sadh/sikh) or bald (budhist), don't matter ! Singh sahib, in this video, tries to explain the 'purpose of hair'...using arguments which are not scientific at all!

Sikhi is a religion of logic, not rituals! Follow SGGS

  • @kanthasingh54 Agreed wid on d point that Sikhi is not abt rituals, its abt logic... but do u mean whateva Khalsa panth says is not logical? 5Ks are illogical?? i suppose den one can b quite comfortable wid a jockey so use a "kachera" and ovsly deres no logic for "kanga" while u travel.. and moreova, y do one needs to carry kirpan wen deres no need for d same... i undrstnd dese r more of symbols to our identity and Singh sahab is tryin to explain higher meanings to one of d aspects...

  • @kanthasingh54 we all respct what SGGS says, but I have a question for u mate... r u clean shaven singh??

just a guess bro, no offence.... Peace!!

  • @royalprince01

hahahahaha......and u say u 'respect what SGGS says'..!! How does it matter if im clean shaven or not?? Does my beard carry more weight than my words, my point of view?? Stop living in the superficial....start living according to the depth prescribed by SGGS!! Guru Granth Sahib says:

'Only those beards are true, which brush the feet of Satguru'!

Now i ask u....based on what is prescribed by SGGS...are u clean shaven? Do u follow SGGS?

  • @kanthasingh54 applause!!! nw my frend defies what our 10th Guru has said... :)

it does matter that u r clean shaven or not cuz u might b findin reasons to support d same :P nd tats wat most of d ppl do... find d reasons to support their OWN VERSION of religion... i do support wat is written in SGGS bt tat is written in another context....

and i mst say, u re quite expert in turnin d conversation d oder way arnd ;-)

  • @hotdog2220 100% agreed 123356heho please do some research and then post comments.

  • POR FAVOR, SUBTITULADOS

  • thx

  • you shud do whatever you want. God loves, man imposes stupid laws and misses the whole point.

  • So should we let our fingernails grow forever?

  • @childofthetaoWhy do we cut our fingernails? Tribal people in Africa have never seen a nail cutter, yet their nails are the same length as ours. Our body is naturally programmed to remove dead cells, therefore when the nails get too long they break easily. Just as when we comb our hair dead hair is removed by combing our hair.

  • @childofthetao i also had the same question in my mind...answer to this is-- no...we should cut our finger nails! we only cut the dead part of our finger nails not whole of it...and dead hair automatically falls away once we comb them...!! so dont get confused n mix cutting of hair wid cutting of finger nails. :)

  • @childofthetao nice try..... one suggestion.....try growing them....ull see hw nature takes of its length. They are designed to break just like hair is designed to be replaced.

  • @childofthetao at a certain point they break automatically. Hair also do that( dead hairs), and we cut only dead nails.

  • @childofthetao For the sake of hygiene. When nails are cut, we remove the dead portions of the nail. It is not only important for Sikhs to grow their hair, but to also keep clean and groom well. When we comb our hair, we take out dead hair (detached from our skin). When we wash our face, we take off dead skin. By that same principle, if one were to shave their beard or cut their hair, then it would be equivalent to taking out the entire nail. I am not Sikh, but this is my thought.

  • If hair was needless why do we have it? why are we still growing hair, and why hasnt evolution removed it from our genes? why does every land mammal have some amount of hair? your talking about scientific, but by cutting it your argueing against nature as well as logic. There are no Benefits from cutting you hair whatsoever, growing oyur hair out weighs cutting it. There are numerous individuals who have uncut hair and do no have any problems whatsoever.

  • @123456heho we don't evolve all at the same time. there is a phrase in the evalution process when you don't need a body part or a change is requred to it due to changes in external factors (global warming). but we still have it beacuse evalution takes alot of time. you won't change suddenly. But your future generations will very slowly. also people in some parts of the world have more hair than other. what if they migrate? will there hair just fall out? not suddenly. maybe through generations.

  • you have such humor, I love it

  • NOTHING HAPPENS TO YOU IF YOU CUT YOUR HAIR!! WHAT SCIENTIFIC DOWNFALL IS THERE IN CUTTING YOUR HAIR LMAO JUST CUT IT OFF!

  • @Makka2Medina You dont know what your talking about, growing and keeping hair has been going on for thousands of years, there are benefits, what would you know?

  • @123456heho There are benefits, yet you haven't named one 'benefit' and your asking me what do i know? LOL I think it's not beneficial at all. Why cut your nails then, isn't that part of your body too? Please explain any scientific downfalls of cutting your hair, enlighten me please

  • @Makka2Medina lol why should i name you the numerous benefits, are you not watching the video? there talking about the benefits, listen carefully. Let me ask you then, what are the benefits of cutting hair? lol i dont see any benefits. Nails are dead and they carry infection.

  • @123456heho

Tell me a benefit of not cutting hair, and also tell me what are some of the NEGATIVE impacts of cutting hair. I watched the video and all he said was "cut your hair and see".. I think it can be very unhygienic not cutting your hair. You can have dirty hair, have lice, and it's harder to maintain in general. Hairs can also die as well, and fall off your head naturally.

  • @Makka2Medina Hair is not dirty or unhygenic. It only becomes that way if you dont wash your hair, in the same way if you dont wash your body the same thing will happen. Exactly, if your hair falls of and dies naturally why cut it and waste time if you know its only going to regrow back again? let it fall out naturally. Benefits include less protein being lost from the body (keratin in hair), as well as more heat retention to the body. Hair provides warmth in the cold and shelter in the sun.

  • @123456heho There are numerous other points that can be made by other iinviduals who are more intellectual then me, i am just a learner atm.

  • @123456heho Yeah but those are not benefits, you could lose protein in so many other ways like cutting your nails.. your nails are made from protein.. Heat retention can be attained by anything such as a hat or a cap... i have very good hair and good quality hair at that... and ive been cutting my hair since a child.. there are NO downfalls in cutting ur hair, sorry but that is not the truth...

  • @Makka2Medina Why waste money buying a cap or hat? Numerous downfalls, cutting your hair costs money, it wastes time, it makes u value your apperances too much, it becomes a fashon statement, it removes equality, your acting against nature, cutting it only leads to it being regrown thicker what does that tell you? Cutting your hair shows you have insecurities about yourself and you cannt accept who you are as a human being. Fashion changes every year, why follow it and waste time/thinking on it?

  • i have never cut my hair in 19 year but my healthy and long,my mom and aunts says i wish i could have your ,

and about hygienic sikhs always cover der head comb daily and took every care of there hair ,

i bet condition of my hair is better than u.

  • @Makka2Medina As a rule, Sikhs are suppossed to keep their hair combed and cleaned. It is not suppossed to be dirty or knotted.

  • Fingernails grow, but if they get too long it can be a problem. Cancer grows, and that's obviously a problem. Should it not be removed?

  • @Rinuvien Cancer is a defect in the way cells divide and replicate. Cancer is an ailment of the human body. Hair however exists to serve the human body many purposes. The process of evolution has fine tuned exactly where and how hair should grow on the human body. Hair will grow to its natuaral limit to serve its purpose on different parts of the body. For example you do not need to trim your eyebrows every few weeks. They grow to their natural limit then stop. Same with hair on your head

  • @Rinuvien Cutting the hair on the body is unnatural. The human body is an outcome of millions of years of fine tuning... evolution. If our bodies were supposed to exist with no hair... we would have no hair. If they were supposed to exisit with tatoo's and ear peircings... we would be born with those. Hair is a beautiful thing when perceived with an understanding of nature and the universe. The white part of your nails is dead. It is brittle and is designed to break. Hair is not.

  • @tksingh1000 grey hairs are dead hairs too yet my grandpa has a lot of those .. yet its not ok to cut those hairs too?

  • can sikhs shave or trim downstairs? serious question

  • @moynul123 no....because whatever nature gave u in ur body which is not harmful than it got some purpose to it.

  • i love the background color ♥

  • I didn't watch this whole video but from the comments I just have to say that by the time your hair emerges from under the skin it is dead. You will see many shampoos and conditioners that contain vitamins and minerals; these vitamins and minerals do absolutely nothing for the hair or scalp. Since hair is dead, it can't be helped by any additional vitamins and minerals. And these substances are not absorbed through the skin; they have to be ingested to be of any use to your body.

  • @honeyandbees00 you should watch all of it

  • This guy is awesome!

  • @bhangraboyin there is no use abusing anyone brother as Guruka Singh told us we should bless someone if someone attacks us .........so I think we all sholud bless sohail....

  • Why sikhs cut nails if they don't cut hair? Anything in the body of human that has change or has got some indication of life in itself are not killed, cut or seprated from body. Hair are NOT lifeless, hair changes its colour as age passes, they Black or blonde at begining, later they are white when old. Hair got a change within itself, anything that has a change means that they are NOT lifeless. So if you KILL or CUT a thing that has some life in it, is WRONG. So we Sikhs dont cut our hair...

  • Guru bani teaches us the following.

"Kabir, love the one and comming and going ceases. Weather you grow your hair long or shave it."

long hair has never been a limiting factor on who becomes ego less and who not. Or else no muslim hindu buddhist or christian has ever had enlightenment. We know that is not the case.

  • He's kinda cynical and arrogant isn't he? And doesn't give a straight answer. Stop talking in circles. You know what the person means when they ask can they cut their hair? You don't have to sound so arrogant about it. Of course the reason people question is because in our faith, we keep our hair, you can't be amritshak and not keep it, right? So thats why we question, don't just say "yeah you can, or not cut it"

  • this guy speaks sense!

  • in the starting some persons have used bad words so i wanted to say them that you are not alloowed to use bad words in such good comments or good thoughts.i request all others also not to allow such non-sense things to be posted,as when sum1 wants 2 read good coments thn thy should not read all such bad things. Also i think the one who have posted bad worsd thy are not sikhs, thy just want 2 write there non-things here and there.

WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH

  • veer ji can you tell me the who sang the shabd in the begining

  • I can't hear Guruka over the kirtan playing!

  • can i ask why you dont grow your finger and toenails the same as you grow hair?

  • @emonslemons u r right nails r the the part of the body, no doubt about that, but if u look closely the color of our nail is light pink but when nails grows they lose their color becs they r dead. so my friend we only cut the dead part of the nails. in case of hair r living thing they r living from roots to the end and the change in color explains that u actually need vitam and minerals to feed ur hair which u give them as shampoo & conditioner. so pls listen to ur body not the pleople

  • @emonslemons nails naturally break and fall off unless special attention is given to them to keep the long.

  • I like how you keep it light and not about right or wrong, I'm intending to experience too and make another step in not trying to control things.

  • this vid is very good advice, do not fear the possible experience of knowing your true self. you should start some where, hair is a great place to begin.

  • 1stly its a hukam.. Secondly go and ask a sant and they will tell you that with every hair strand vaahiguroo is repeated. Think of the millions and times one would say it just by saying it once. This only occurs once a person is in a higher avasta. The nails are dead skin that's why we cut them and we comb our hair to take out the dead hair. It all comes down to you have faith and no questions to what maharaj said. VJKK VJK

  • @bhangraboyin to whom u get marry is not religious issue....it depends on the custom of the region in which ppl born n brought up......

  • what ever is the cause of hair in body......but in sikhism hair meaning is as one of the five k. in india hair has tradition n taken as symbol of sainthood but they dont care about hair as they think they r seprate from society...in sikhism hair is not only important...it is hair plus kanga(comb) pair is important as they represent that u have to be in society as saint unattached from worldly pleasure but perform all duties ......400 year before it was not big issue to keep hair in india

  • @kulbir27 400 years ago the time was diffrent but now its all ur belief.

  • It is something that people at a saintly state realize, its hard for most of us average people to understand.

Shabad video to watch - The Gurmukh meditates on God with every hair of his body.

SGGS ang 1084- sabbat suraat, where sabbat- complete, suraat- look, body beauty

and other such verses tell the same thing.

  • Totally understand what he is saying but one question, What about nails? Nails are also apart of the system, Nails should not be cut either since it will modify the natural system. Are nails not part of the total body function? Also the hair is never really cut it is just trimmed the hair folocals are still there! just shorter than this mans.

  • @HMDdhillon if u cut nail the body wont react.....but if u cut hair the body react....this is not proof.....ppls face this daily.........

n one more thing i m not agree with the reason given in video.......in sikhism five k r important( one of them is hair) but they r not taken as sacred....if ppl take it as sacred or think them as sacred it is their mistake.

  • @HMDdhillon u r right nails r the the part of the body, no doubt about that, but if u look closely the color of our nail is light pink but when nails grows they lose their color becs they r dead. so my friend we only cut the dead part of the nails. in case of hair r living thing they r living from roots to the end and the change in color explains that u actually need vitam and minerals to feed ur hair which u give them as shampoo & conditioner. so pls listen to ur body not the pleople

  • @gagan1730 If The nails were dead so why they grow? I think this is all about the respact toward our gurus.

  • @khalsa3344 it is nothing regarding respect to our Guru. ages ago when ther was no sikh religion people where still having long hair. like ram, etc all hindu riligious people keep there hair.. Even the body's response towards the two is totally different. Our body, throughout life, tries to maintain a particular length of hair, and if cut anywhere along the length, responds by growing them again to the specific length. It clearly indicates the link of the body with the hair all along its length.

  • @khalsa3344 The body shows no such response to the nails, which grow from birth to death at the same rate, irrespective of whether cut or not. And even if not cut, nails generally fall off of their own easily; rather it takes great effort to maintain them, even upto a short length. there is alot more reason for growing hair as compare to nail and it depends on how better u understand ur body.

  • @gagan1730 hair cells are not alive. only at the root. Hair my dear is as dead as finger nails.

  • @HMDdhillon look it up on sikhiwiki it gives the argument, your welcome...

  • @bhangraboyin dont be a racist, there are a lot of Sikhs who get married to there cousins.

  • i am a sikh and got my hair cut a few years back, Sikhism has some of the most modern and open minded philosophy specially when relating to the issues equality between all living thing but sadly now a days Sikhism has been limited to two irrelevant things which are having long hair and not smoking, this is really dumb. i have had people tell me that i am no longer a sikh cause i cut my hair , they are idiots cause the moment they say that they are contradicting everything that is Sikhism.

  • @citykillu bro firstly, your a hypocrite. People make sikhism modern and choose to believe that their way is accepted so that they can ease their lives. Keeping hair has a purpose and its the identity of a sikh. Losing your hair means u've lost your identity, in turn losing the right to call urself a sikh.

  • @valentinox3 and how many people out there who drink booze and call themselves sikhs, how many who trim there beards how many women who cut there hair, how many women who trim there facial hair, if you know what you are talking about then you should know that its not simply a matter of an identity, hair was considered a god given gift, but that was 300 years back and we now know that hair is just dead skin cells. stop living in 1700's

  • @citykillu a normal person or take genius of present day scientific world only using less than 10% of its brain......a person in meditation can use 100% brain. how can u compare a modern scientific person with a person in meditation....

regarding the human body, human emotion and even brain indian saint(real) have much advance understanding.......if u hav doubt then c present research on these topic they accept that

  • @kulbir27 a person in meditation can use 100% brain. this is the single most dumbest thing i have ever heard...

  • @citykillu ....sikhism is religion...a panth..a path ....shown by our gurus and granth sahib.....we hav faith n we follow it....this path hadnot harmed humanity rather it supported humanity......

world has already alot of hate...it need love and understaning.......thanx for ur comment

I was born as sikh ....i will die as sikh

bole so nihal.... sat sri akal

  • @citykillu You have to grow up ur 0.5 % working brain.

  • @citykillu You have to grow up ur 0.5 % working brain.

  • @citykillu Dude , i have seen your uploaded video… please don't talk sikhs and about living in past… if the future or present is what your video shows (drugs, smoke, joints and die with disgrace) then fuck that future , i am happy being a sikh with my hairs and living respectful life…. Please dont be a hater..

  • @manjotsabharwal what can i say , i have got shock appeal

  • i have a few points..

if god intended you to comb your hair you would be born with a comb..letting your hair lock is more natural and in tune with nature than combing it.

what purpose does hair have on your backside?

what about peoples who naturally have no hair?

if you really loved god s work why do you cover it up with clothes?

what is wrong with nakedness ?

is it not vain to be wasting precious time grooming your hair?

are not naked sadhus more in touch with nature ?

  • @WORLDARYANREVIVAL nakedness is a choice but weather comes in the way.. hair is more of a way to show ur devotion to god.. after 9/11 many sikhs cut their hair in fear they wud be considered terrorist.. i didnt and i hear hate every day.. i love my hair and God.. bailing out is not an option

  • @WORLDARYANREVIVAL that true that hair has nothing to do with god.....in sikhism only ur karma(deed) n their intension matter and nothing else.....n hair offcourse not.....that person in video might belive coz he seems to be influenced by yog philosophy......

  • @kulbir27

Hair has alots to do with God. Because god is the one that put them there.

  • Everything which was said also relates to the nails which grow out of your fingers and toes. Why has this man cut his nails??

  • @tajk786110 becuz u cant do daily tasks with long nails.. hair can be tied up and put in a turban.. nails cant

  • 05:47 cuz it wont grew back :(

  • people who said bad things about the Sikhism or a another religion ( with evil intentions) , will later be punished severely.

May God give your brains to understand this.

  • @TheMrpalid Really??? Come on dude!!! can u describe, what is a real religion???? u just can't compare islam with Sikhism... the values sikhism have r far different than any other religion, more near to practicality and truth, and the almighty.....'imitation of islam??' MORON!!!!

  • I have an afro on my bum bum and when I ride a bike or slouch on a chair it gets all tangled and then it hurts like somebody pulling . If I was sikh what then tangled bum hair forever ???!?!! huh whats the scientific function of that dingleberries papier and machee on my bum, keep me warm at night??!?!?!?!? I am sensitive and tuned in, who else has afro bumbum hair? not u guru, hair in convenient palaces ??

  • i shave my head and feel wonderful after it's done! :)

  • @davitubo this has made a great difference in my life. thanks fker

  • Comment removed

  • @TheMrpalid That's a bit harsh now don't you think. You shouldn't disrespect other religions. You wouldn't appreiciate is others did it to your religion if you believe in one.

  • @bhangraboyin ,don`t insult muslims ,who said that muslims fancy thir own sisters?what do u mean by own sisters?I came here admiring the wisdom of sikhsm and u just put me off it all.U r ignorant and judgmental!respect others and do not talk if you dont know!

  • @amirshahz77 Mate, I never intent to do that, that was reply to one of your fellow muslim BRO, who came here and was insulting sikhism, so i was just responding.

Just forget wat u read coz i never meant it, I respect your religion n expect the same for muslims....SIMPLE

  • EXCELLENT

  • Those people who still don't understand may GOD give you more brain cells

  • Stupid people commenting here first need to know the definition of dead, something is dead when it is physically inactive. Now lets talk about hair and nail, as the nail grow the front part of the nail is no longer active and therefore dead hence we sikhs do cut it because its dead, now hair on the other hand if you may have noticed as you become older or even at young age the hair can turn grey according to your age and diet, therefore its simple there is physical change and the hair is alive

  • Kesh (Hair) is not an identity of Sikhs but rather an identity of humanity and a gift given by the creator. So if you are a sikh or not a sikh it doesn't matter because hair are god given not they will grow on a hindu or a sikh. So my point is why don't every one keep there hair? is it because they think by keeping hair they going to become sikhs thats why i am asking my sikh friends to not claim that hair are for sikhs. One more thing if u don't like the creation how will u like the creator?

  • i'm not a sikh but i'm growing a "love" or "call" for it... but, the social pressure of "it"... must be strong. I can't even imagine if one day, I just go to work, with my turban and my "not shaved" mustache! Too many "walls" to break!

Thank you to all of you, sikhs that "ground" me to my own spirit. Wahe Guru!

  • all religeon and imaginary friend for half adults are over, sorry kids.

  • Do you pay attention to your body? Are you a sadhu or a swadhu?

  • We can cut nails because it is dead skin

But we dont cut hair because it is not dead skin (we know hair has your DNA)

  • @ksingh5555 hair is dead as nails, nails to carry DNA too. Stupid people

  • dear fellows..

we cut nails when they become dead ..if u dont wanna cut ur nails then its fine...because we are human beings when we do work with hand ,,our nails ill automatically get damage....try that

  • Why we cut nails?

  • hygiene

  • also applies to hairs. :)

  • @MannyChadha

    Dear brother

We can cut nails which are only dead parts of your body. If you ll try to cut living part of it you get hurt you can try man???

But hair, try to pull your hair of your head,...if your are human for sure you'll experience pain...

    Got it brother ?

  • what??

WHAT IS LIVING PART OF NAIL??

TRY TO PULL HAIR or Nail??

both are in same way attached.

bring an evidence please if you are willing to answer.

  • hahaha....my brother

Nails attached to ur skin is living and unattached are senseless...you cut sensless part of your nails. but hair are not sensless...they contain proteins and are not like dead nail to whom you cut...

    GOT IT.....

  • No.

same applies to nails..requires more protein than hairs.

  • Nails required more proteins...right man,

    But dead nails dont required..

    Our hairs are not dead...

    GOT it...

I think you got it but not able to accept it...

it is fine man...i am not going to reply again..

I hope my brother you got it.

  • @amandeeplotey - what is dead nail?? never heard this term!

parts are: [root,bed,plate,Eponychium,Paronychium,Hyponychium]..there is dead skin over nail i.e. Eponychium. But not everybody has this...may be you are reffering this..but we cut the nail part too!!

  • awesome .. good stuff

  • you dont have a cluee????? so u sayin we shud all look like male lions hahahhaha

  • tut hw can u fite hate with hate? carry on see where it gets u. Much Love x

  • Good sir, I feel it would be a dishonor to myself and a dishonor to my Origin if I were to cut my beard and keep it "nice and trimmed" in order to please society and their narrow expectations. I have a job offer (not making very much) that told me i have to keep it a certain length. So I am strongly considering turning the offer down, even though I don't have much education. Do you think this is wreckless, or what a true Lion should do?!

Thank you for your input revered Sir!!!

  • so why do you cut your nails if god allows them to grow?

  • because nails end up getting broke anyway because you use your hands for a variety of tasks

  • it depends on the weather my friend

we need to keep ourselves sheltered from the blazing sun and the frigid heat and thats why we wear clothes

and no maybe your pubic hair smells if you don't shave it, but if you shower regularly it wont smell

in the 70's you were the man if you had body hair but now it's lame... it's whatever is popular in the media

relax bro and i'm a sikh and shave my balls not a big deal and it doesnt make me any less of a sikh

  • the turban is more than just to cover our hair, or even cover our head, it is an identity, it is something that must be experienced, even i had to experience it before accepting it. All faiths have the turban, uncut hair, in the book of mark in the bible, the turban is mentioned.

  • we dont have to answer to you, if you wanna cut your hair then carry on, thats fine by me. But us Sikhs dont want to cut our hair, we dont have lice, we arent dirty, we bathe everyday without fail. We arent the cause of global warming lol. I bet your the insecure type that has to do what the majority does because you wanna fit in. A sikh expresses themselves however they want, we are peaceful people who just want to follow our religion, do sewa, protect the innocent and feed the poor.
