What is an "ENGLISG website"? I think if your gonna call people out you should learn how to spell first....IDK, Just saying.... Oh and if you don't "speak" english, that does not mean you are a communist! Maybe try not fearing what you hate AKA get an education.....
@vBlogmiscarrage lol sure man, communist language is my fav...really get off that fuckin chair and live your life in a better way instead of typing bullshit and such on the net...what a retard you're even criticizing people on things you don't even know (ENGLISG)
It's not from a film. The video pays homage to differnt films though-"The Shining"(the twins in the corridor, the same frase written on the typewriter) and "Eraserhead"
I have done long before i heard this !! And my comment is geared towards the video here- (I heard this amazing song) - but never saw the video!!! But thankyou for your input....Its good advice an i appreciate it :))
Tricky and 3D are trying to hypnotize the paranoid man with the gun. He starts seeing things like the two little girls and the other guy with the gun and basically he's descending into madness.
The hotel setting is obviously from the Shining, just like the type-writer (and instead of 'All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy' it's 'Karmacoma' over and over again).
The rest is abstract, adding to the trippy feel of the music video.
I don't think I've heard that one yet... Is it any good? I'm not so keen on the ones sang mainly by that woman... but she's a very good singer. i mainly like 3D and Tricky... both amazing
It's quite heart-wrenching to be honest. In my opinion, upon seeing the video, I thought that either the woman had a baby aborted and she's feeling horrible about it or she lost it due to some accident.
Something very dramatic yet quiet about that song, I can't really explain it. Very complex.
I was thinking abortion too, but wondered if it was just me or others would think that too. the puppetry and filming is very skilled. I like that their videos only seem to have very minimal computer graphics. they go to extra effort in their music and clips. Thanks again for your thoughts.
yes the girls are based on the shining but thats it, the video is acutally based on a film called 13th floor elevator about a writer in a hotle writing his latest book and slowly going mad and the place buring down around him
Yeah, but they add so many other elements that could be coming from other sources; the bloody man in front of the camera, the man who finds a smaller version of himself, Charlie Manson, the killer going mad. It's very complex.
Definitely and I've aso noticed, particularly at the end when the hairy bloke speaks, it has echoes of the Saw films. And I'm sure the female in the red dressing gown with the short hair is Angelica Houston
so what does the video and song mean? whats the significance, thanks to anyone who can answer. i love massive attack, but dont understand this one too well.
From what I got from it, there are a whole bunch of references, I always thought most of the hotel things were a nod to The Shining, and maybe Four Rooms too. I think the bushy looking guy was supposed to be Charles Manson, and the guy with the high hair at the typewriter was Barton Fink. After that.... your guess is as good as mine lol
The best ever a bit hipnotyse and weird but you can not stop listening this. Video is awesome ( i dont know what is happening there but its interesting) and the best always - hairy guy who said : I want to be free and i am!!!!
I dont try to make you an ignorant. Sure, there is a lot of bullshit out there, but also a lot of great stuff. You just give me the impression that you think, that there is no more good music today and i think thats wrong. But ok, thats your aspect :)
So, this is the best (and weirdest) videoclip i ever witnessed. (Maybe Window Licker??)

Robert is still hot.

What Robert do you mean? There are so many Roberts, that I don't know whom you
have in mind or who may be one in this video. Pulp Fiction is fringe lunacy, but this
video is even furthur out there. Something like Lynch's Eraserhead, or Lost HIghway
I never heard of The Four Rooms, but I am just glad that we all got to view this unreal-surreal video.
