My idea of this music video is:

Tricky and 3D are trying to hypnotize the paranoid man with the gun. He starts seeing things like the two little girls and the other guy with the gun and basically he's descending into madness.

The hotel setting is obviously from the Shining, just like the type-writer (and instead of 'All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy' it's 'Karmacoma' over and over again).

The rest is abstract, adding to the trippy feel of the music video.

Just heard it now... And watched the video.

It's quite heart-wrenching to be honest. In my opinion, upon seeing the video, I thought that either the woman had a baby aborted and she's feeling horrible about it or she lost it due to some accident.

Something very dramatic yet quiet about that song, I can't really explain it. Very complex.

yes the girls are based on the shining but thats it, the video is acutally based on a film called 13th floor elevator about a writer in a hotle writing his latest book and slowly going mad and the place buring down around him

From what I got from it, there are a whole bunch of references, I always thought most of the hotel things were a nod to The Shining, and maybe Four Rooms too.
