This Music was created between the cultural exchange that took place over the Pyrenees between SouthWestern France,and the last vestiges of the Moorish city states in Northern Spain (Catalonia & Aragon).

The Music has a rather strong North African/Middle Eastern beat. Unfortunately the Troubadour tradition was mostly wiped out during the Albigensian(Anti-Cathar) Cursades of the 1200's and 1300's who had their Theological roots in the Christian Communities of Syria and Egypt.
