I agree with you on that one, donaldthescottishtwin. For example, in the Railway Series story "Thomas and the Guard," Henry was shown in a picture with his blue paint, as well as square buffers, which made him look way too similar to Gordon, which is why Henry had his accident with the Flying Kipper.
i do know what happend to henry he was green, got stuck in the tunnel, came out, helped edward with the express then was painted blue, and in troublesome engines he was painted green again! and when you see henry with the lest trailing wheel it was a mistake by the illistrator! henry was ment to be a 4-4-0 with the piston box! but dalby made henry a 4-6-2 when he wasn't suppost to be! then he was in his old shape a 4-6-0! then he got his knew shape and stayed that way as a 4-6-0!
yeah, Sir Topham Fat ordered a 4-4-2 GCR Atlantic, but got a 4-4-0 GCR Atlantic/ A1 LNER. I think i Troublesome engines, Awdry explains how Henry actually goes back to green, then blue and then green again, MAKE YOUR MIND, UP HENRY! He even says that giving him a blue coat will make him look like Edward?!!! GORDON, more like, that was precisely the problem! Blue, A1 boiler, 4-6-2 sometimes. Poor Henry has a case for damages in misrepresnetation and poor continuitiy!
@WaerzMedia09 he is now but when he was first built by the london & north western in 1921 (shortly before grouping) as a stanier b10 (which was an expirimental cross between a GNR a1 pacific, GNR ivatt atlantic and a nightmare). He was soon rebuilt after he escaped from the tunnel as an a1 pacific. it wasnt until after the flying kipper incident he was turned into a 5mt. but henry isnt really a 5mt he was just rebuilt using parts from an lms 5mt. he looks like one but isn't completely identical.
henry looks better in blue than green

not bad.
Think you might try to do a tribute to the RWS Donald & Douglas (blue)?
ChipmunkRaccoon2 2 years ago 4
Your two different-colored Henry tributes give me an idea of getting two Henry's and painting one blue and one blue.

i have the wooden train of blue henry
thatlegorandomguy 3 years ago
All you did was give Gordon Henry's face and number. But not bad

Henry looks like Gordon's twin brother when he is blue.

britt shud o made a ep where henry was painted blue then changed to green
donaldthescotishtwin 3 years ago
no. becuse that is exactly why she didn't. Henry would have looked too much like Gordon and the kids wouldn't have been able to tell the difference

Dalby was the red herrin. He annoyed Awdry when he drew Percy controversially, too
ByronleeS 3 years ago
yeah. his exact words to Dalby were, "He looks like a green caterpillar with red stripes!" It was later refrenced in a later book.
andrexiostudios 2 years ago
Yes, that was for Percy.
Hardly impressed Dalby, did it?

for the last 3 henry does not have that back wheel
timelordthetrain 3 years ago
Yes he did........Henry was blue, but then painted green, he had a back wheel in the RWS, look at the picture with Henry being put back on the track.
WEREHUTCH3 3 years ago
Apparently, Henry had a retracting rear pony wheel. After all, he was a prototype of his series.
donaldengine9 3 years ago
that was a made up ironic story because the illustrator kept drawing Henry as a 4-6-2, he SHOULD have been a 4-6-0
ByronleeS 3 years ago
THat WAS AN ERROR!!! That is why Awdry wanted Henry to be crashed and renuilt in the first instance
ByronleeS 3 years ago
Awdry wanted henry to crash so the illastrator did not make any more mistakes.

yeah, blad I know
