@thelaundramutt Im fairly sure you'll find that Mark Knopfler wrote it and Mary Chapin Carpenter covered it, Dire Straits released the song on their 1991 album On Every Street, and Mary Chapin didnt release her version until 92 while Straits were already touring with it

It was covered by Mary Chapin Carpenter in 1992 and also recorded on the albums "Blues Ballads" (1996) by The Alex Bollard Assembly and "Keep Your Hands to Yourself" (2002) by Mike Berry & The Outlaws.

what a nice yellow shirt! A welcome change from dressing always/obsessively in RED & BLACK (+White) [or even Pink] colors. Blue was nice as well but GREEN (like the phoney/fake but wishful-thinking EYEs in 'Money 4 nothing') would have been BETTER.
