Thats why Quik named his song "tonight" (as a way of honoring the original song). @nniuqed many year's ago, after Quik sampled "tonight" by kleeer, he was interviewed by one of those popular 90s magazines. he talked about the mpc 60 and the sp1200 (i was particularly interested because i had a sp1200 at the time), and how he chopped samples with very little sample time (sp had 10 seconds of sample time). he shared how he sampled kleeer's "tonight",and how he chopped the synth sounds from "intimate connection" into tiny unrecognizable sample stabs for another song he made.
