  • is there anywhere that we can get a schematic for the interface board?

  • WATCH YOUR MOUTH

  • @andrewrussell1996 i did and the words still fly out.

  • You need to watch your MOUTH!!!!

    Not COOL!!

  • @Patrick72946 HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

  • 1:28 SyFy I'm watching that channel right now. I had the screen from my old portable DVD player but I think I burned it out trying to get it to work. there was a shielded type wire maybe that was the video wire. I'm gonna like this vid b/c of the shows you got on. and the PSP's screen is 480X272. and I'd love to get one of those old DVD players as long as it has a good screen. I'll have to keep looking around for one.

  • Hey Man this is a neat idea, I want to do it my self I was just wondering how you hooked up the Video source.

  • could ya make a vid on how to do this?i got a laptop and i wana use its screen to put it on my ps2,or ps3,or wii....

  • i plan on doin the same n use them as headrest

  • ur very smart

  • Thanks!

  • did the portable dvd player you took the screen from have a video in?

  • Yes it did. But the board that drives the display has a composite video input.

  • this is amazing ya but can you take laptop computer to make batter screen ?

  • I'm sure you could. As long it as the right LCD driver circuit, it would work.

  • actually..umm how did you wire up the tft screen...i took apart mines and it seems to be integrated into the circuit board of the portable dvd player.

  • You have to do some searching on the bain board and look for a composite video driver. Just tap into that and you're good.

  • nm i found your other post...thx

  • No problem.

  • this amazing man...alot of cursing thou...but great integrating and uses for the screen. are you able to make a schmatic on how you did this or maybe explain how you wired it?

  • I just looked for the composite video driver circuit. From there I was able to hook up an external jack to access the video input. If I have time, I'll make a video on that as well.
